  1. Nice port Newright! I like the building architecture with the nice roofings. I also like that overloaded boat in the docks. As been said before, more details would add a lot and will make it perfect to me. And it would be nice if you tried to make some windows. Otherwise you've done a great job!
  2. I've got a PSP too, and my brother has Metal Gear Solid too. I'm not a real PSP gamer but the game looks fun to me. And it is cool you gain inspiration from games, not a bad source I think... Your minifigs look great, I especially like the heads. Great job on that. The painted weapons are a nice effort and fit good with the minifigs.
  3. I agree those decals are very good, and well applied to the minifigs. I've never seen this kind of decals with the small "cape" over the cuffs before. I also think it would be nice if you use different heads, since the decal and shako are already nicely detailed, the face is too simple. Perhaps a musket on the saddle would add even more detail. A pole with a nice custom flag on it too.
  4. Those faces are awesome Capt. Kirk! No doubt I'm going to use some for my men. Great job mate!
  5. Item 10 is a custom ship, it costs 130 USD. Hope that helps.
  6. I did like your MOC till I saw your "horses". The stagecoach is nice! I also like the drying fishing net on the beach.
  7. I agree the idea of the deserted jungle is very nice. It should stretch several baseplates so you can explore the area. It would be awesome with some old native ruins, caves and treasure! If a set like this appears in the shop I defenitely buy some! Great idea! *You inspired me to make a MOC in the future...*
  8. Now we're talking about Bargains! 1,95 is incredible for such a set! Old, but still very nice to have in the collection. It sounds the searching efforts paid well! Even 2 Imperial soldiers in there, only 1 fully armed soldier costs about $5.
  9. It's very simple! I like that bargain too! It sounds like I have some competition! Although I'd rather hope for the next line of Bluecoats instead of spending money on the old ones.
  10. How odd, normally Redcoats bury themselves instead of the Bluecoat body! Just because they just have to bury something, and there are almost no dead Bluecoats. :pir-skull:
  11. An exclusive set of a ship would be great. A set meant for serious building experience like the Café Corner for 16+ Those sets also contain a lot of useful MOCing parts and are very accurate and realistic. I also think it will sell quite good since a lot of adults collect huge sets like that. And of course I'd like to see the Bluecoat faction again in the new line! I think you're doing a great job as ambassador so far Bonaparte!
  12. I think 130 USD is quite a lot for that ship. I've spend about 80 Euros on my project now which is already twice it's size. Though, I'm happy the Ebay finds continue. Sometimes there are real bargains among them. Thanks Zorro! Keep us posted!
  13. I'm afraid of: Deep dark caves (122m deep, in France. It was cold and wet there, but still amazing.) Cave diving (I jumped in a black hole, I guess it was about 20m deep. The water went from blue to black. I was afraid getting stuck somewhere.) Heights (it becomes scary when I'm above 5/6 meters, don't know why.) Spiders (when I was young a spider was hanging above me when I woke up, now I'm scared of large black hairy spiders in my house.) Fire (imagine when you're sleeping and your house is going down to ashes because the alarm didn't work...) Break-ins (how horrible would it be when somebody steals your entire LEGO collection?) Murder and violence (nobody will touch my family and friends!) High voltage (shocking death reason.) Cleaning my room (means to resort the used LEGO bricks which are everywhere.) Greatest fear: Losing everything I have! My friends, family, girlfriend, house, LEGO, money, job and much more.
  14. As a child I collected every odd coin I found. Nothing valuable though. When we got the Euro I started collecting foreign Euro coins, but I have them already. This time today, I collect as much money as I can ( who doesn't ) and LEGO coins. I only have 20 or so... I'd like to start a collection about VOC coins and more from that period though.
  15. We shall take revenge for that, no worries... It will be nasty, believe me. :pir-skull:
  16. Looks great Admiral, as well the new pics of the ship! I'm so eager to see the finished product... I like the way you keelhaul the silly Redcoat, they deserve it. It should be an honour to be keelhauled under the Sang Royale's keel. :pir-skull:
  17. Hehe, I love to give some Redcoats a straight good piercing! I like our special ops Bluecoat team. And you are a peeing bastard Armendariz! Even I don't insult the Reddies that much... yet. :pir-skull: Great entry Armendariz!
  18. Happy holiday! Watch out for the sharks over there, and don't forget your scuba equipment indeed.
  19. The village was a creepy movie. I don't really like creepy movies like horror and so on. The Hangover was one of the best I've seen so far. <-- Amazing film. I've laughed the popcorn out of me.
  20. Jum! That looks quite tasty....
  21. Um... right I guess... I translate that to English: Is this allright? Because if it goes, I laugh around you sir. Because I'm allright. If not, I have done what had to be corrected. This is getting off topic too...
  22. Hello all! I've made a couple more pirate themed decals. In this thread I will post my pirate decals from now on. To keep it organized. Here's the French Vice Admiral, of course this can be used for Admirals and Captains as well. And the British example: Midshipmen were people from age 16-25, captains in education. They were on ships to learn to navigate and experience with the life on sea. The French one: And the British one: Thanks for watching! Here are many more pirate themed torso decals!
  23. We make it easy to read so even the Redcoats are able to understand it. I can also spell it for you if you want. AND, English isn't my native language. I doubt if you speak Dutch as good as I do.
  24. I really like the technique for the broadsides! It looks superb! Rather innovative and yet quite simple. I think you should extend the forcastle a bit, it's quite high and small now. And I have to agree with Paul Cantu the lion head looks a bit out of place. I should make a brickbuilt figurehead. The shield looks fine to me. I wish you all the best with the build!
