  1. Looks great Steve! I agree there are a lot of details in there, great job on that. The roof looks very interesting too. I think I will use that idea sometime! Keep it up!
  2. Soon there will be another one in the waters.... it's big....
  3. Really, really hilarious CBH! Good work on the MOC too. The idea is great and even better executed! Shame for the Commodore's hat, it's such a nice trophy to have! And now it's just lying on the road!
  4. This ship looks quite good already! I've spotted a very interesting thing: the unique windows! I think they look very good. Your ship also has some interesting shapes. I think this project will turn out fantastic! Keep it up!
  5. Oh dear another one... You Redcoats may steal our colonies, sink our ships, do whatever you want. But you will never be able to take our freedom!
  6. Oh yeah that is sweet! Awesome work Martin! I love the bridge connecting the lighthouse to the land, great design. It may use some more details though. The large docks are also great, I like the barrel-built poles! That are a lot of barrels... Since it's a WIP it isn't even finished yet! 20%? Wow... the finished product will be incredible! Well Martin, I wish you all the best with your port!
  7. Congratulations Erdy with your new position! You've done a great job, I really think you've deserved it. Enjoy it!
  8. I'm sure if you add some foliage and stuff like that, more details and so on, this castle will be a very nice one. Also adding tiles on the naked studs will make it more realistic.
  9. I'm looking forward to the results! I think it will look great. Oh and don't forget the good general.
  10. Your ships look great so far! Some suggestions though: I would place another sail on the Bluecoat ship, right beneath the other one since there's a bare mast now. Adding some ropes would add a lot of detail. The cabin looks nice and the stern too. Perhaps a big flag at the stern or gaff sail is a good idea too. The Redcoat ship: Also a very nice one! I would add some more red to the black squariness stern gallerie. Secret: your stern gallery technique looks VERY similar to the technique I use for the galleries on the Fourageux... Otherwise, great job so far! The fort: Looks great in my opinion, a few more details would be great and adding some foliage and nature will make it even more great.
  11. Great idea! I think that wave looks great already! I've never seen something like this before. Perhaps some 1x1 round white transparant plates will work on the water, it looks like foam and splashing water. The minifig's head fits perfect in here. Nice job!
  12. Great work Armendariz! I should get my hands on some hinges since all my hinges are spent on my other ships... Unfortunately I've told myself not to order LEGO anymore for a period of time. I still need to afford schoolbooks and other stuff... And that is really expensive.
  13. That is not very handy... We blue ones are very eager to post! I hope the Reddies are even more eager to get insulted again.
  14. YaY! I'm very curious to see this unique project. It's a great idea. Keep it up! I'll be back really, really, very, very, uber, really soon to see the official Manual of Arms!!!
  15. Ahh, that explains a lot. Must be a great show to watch, unfortunately it isn't broadcasted in the Netherlands I'm afraid... I got my first and second entry ready BTW, it is funny, it is nasty, it is just the way I like it... :pir-skull:
  16. We even have helped them in the war of independance! Where did my legs and hands go? Are you sure you aren't fighting against a dummy while I still walk around lively somewhere else? I like the gore in this entry Hound Knight I hope you know this isn't without consequences! See you next time... :pir-skull:
  17. Thanks mate! I will try something out soon, so far everything is very clear to me. First the snaredrum decal...
  18. They carried pistols and swords indeed, but dragoons have also muskets with them. And a musket on the saddle adds more detail. Well, that's my opinion at least. Nice job on the heads.
  19. How did you connect the snaredrum to the minifig? Or is it a secret. I really want to make some drummers for my army. The sticks, is that a common pole (lightsaber) cut in half? Already thanks!
  20. $5,- for the whole bunch. And another $5,- for the missing pirate.
  21. I got the Le Formidable ready for action at any moment, and my fourth rate is progressing nicely... No doubt the Good Blue Captain can build fast, thanks to his experience in ship building. And even if your mighty ship will set sail, your unexperienced crew and ship will be sunk by the Bluecoat navy, which practises at least every day...
  22. Remember making the bricks isn't the only thing they have to pay for. If you want to have a little bit profit you need to have higher prices. LEGO is expensive, that's true, but I'd like to pay some more to keep TLC running! You just won't know how much illegal concurrention there is in China and Japan because the copyright ran off.
  23. Thanks! I can add many more details on it, but I have experienced something too. With too many details the whole decal will be cluttered up and becomes ugly. Remember it will be only 1,5 cm wide. Those decals look perfect on minifigs I think. I also have to sharpen the decals, they are too pixelized in my opinion.
  24. We're just waiting behind the horizon, thanks to our fast frigates we know your exact location and wait for the best moment... Nice MOC you've made there Talon Karrde, I like it. That Redcoat soldier looks quite drunk too. And are your weak special forces disguised as woman? You cowards know we never fire at woman! Be a man and stand up to fight a fair fight.
  25. So... you have only 1 cannon aboard... That's interesting... :pir-skull: And if there are 7 men sleeping in the cannons, the other ones can prepare it to fire right? Or are there only 7 men aboard? That would be even more interesting! I think YnyklY just owned the megablocks out of the Reddies! In a well deserved way. :pir-skull: BUT, who is going to clean the mess on the Bluecoats once the Reddies splash against the broadsides?
