Awesome epicly big thus far Commodore! I'm curious how this nice fort will turn out. There are a lot of bricks on that table. I think a trip to a fortress like Joey did is a very nice source of inspiration. I hope you had a nice day Joey. I wish you all the best with the fort Commodore, and might her progress be smooth.

I'm lying on a nice very comfortable chair, not visible from that angle. I can't dance anyway.

Yes, yes yes O' dear Captain Blue Hair. You are the most confident leader of all. Seriously though, I think your team has done a great job with their entries. I wish you all the best at the voting!

Hehe, sweet revenge! Take that you pesky Redcoats! Thanks for having a great time upon your ship. Next time you are my guest. Of course I have some Reddies ready to be screwed up! :pir-skull: And I still like how your torso turned out... We're almos twins there. But gosh, what an amazing day we had!

"And then the captain came in..." Looks nice Louloute! I like such parties! And I've spotted a nice arm technique. Looks great. Drink with responsibility! But I'm also a happy drinker! Well my avatar is...

Ahaa there she is! Amazing job Admiral! This will keep the British busy forever! The rigging is great, I know how much time it costs, it turned out great. The hull looks great with that amazing tumblehome and coloursheme. It must be horrible to face those broadsides! You've got a fan here as well Admiral! I'm looking forward to your next project, no doubt it will be great! Keep it up mate!

MOC: Falcon's Tower Update
Captain Blackmoor replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great tower! Epicly big already. You've based your tower on a very nice model as well. Awesome. I agree with the honourable Sir Dillon making a little dock in front of the entrance. Keep it up! -
Thanks Paul! I think the monkeys fell in the pit as well and were eaten by the snakes in there. :pir-skull:
-
Parbleu! I thought we were always nice people, but now I see this... This is pretty cruel! But please remember: you are torturing, killing BLUECOATS! I will never forget this! Revenge... O' sweet revenge... :pir-skull:

Did you look at me when you say short and fat?!
Captain Blackmoor replied to alexandertam's topic in Pirate MOCs
While I'm a big fan of France and it's history I still really like it. He wasn't fat at all in real, but he was a short guy (1,60m). And I really like how the fat Napoleon turned out, I also like the decal used. Nice job! -
Actually, the French ships were even better designed. The British however had the adventage of a good trained crew, and were more advanced at communicating between ships which is essential during a battle. Admiral Villeneuve had never practised at sea, so he was quite unexperienced. So the French fleet screwed up by Aboekir and Trafalgar. But a few years earlier Admiral de Grasse beat the British fleet several times thanks to his superior naval skills and tactics. Thanks to him the British were unable to help General Cornwallis in the US. That's how it was! Let's end the historic facts now and get back on topic.

You British did copy our French ship design! I just have some mariners, I didn't like shako's on a ship and tricorners... well I just like the top hats better for marines.

Looks nice in my opinion, a lot of details! I'm not sure about the red-white small roofing thingy though. Keep it up!
-
A bit late perhaps, but still congratulations Stash! I think you will do a great job as regulator, good luck with it! See you on the boards!

It is a Bluecoat officer, ME, four of the best mariners and a rowing guy. This Redcoat isn't the first one we kill there. And we weren't needed at that battle, we don't use 10 ships against a single Redcoat ship... Even without a ship of ours it will sink anyway since Redcoats can't handle a ship. :pir-skull: But I'm glad you like it.
-
Thanks! Those Bluecoats are Bluecoat mariners from the navy. Sharpshooters in fact who hide in the crowsnests to snipe the enemy on their ship.

The Lion of Luebeck (sistership of the Adler)
Captain Blackmoor replied to maydayartist's topic in Pirate MOCs
I'm totally in love with that last picture! How awesome. YnyklY is right about the bow, one of the hardest parts of the ship thanks to it's curved shapes. The ship has a nice coloursheme and some great techniques in it. I'd love to see some of them appearing in the ship building index! Great job! -
Allright then, here we go! In 1712 the Bluecoats abandoned this island, it became a place to hide. And so there was another Redcoat, he fled away from a battle. The silly Redcoat explores the island, when he discovers something... Since the Redcoat hadn't eaten for days, the bananas are delicious! Unfortunately the lad became addicted to them... The vultures already know what is going to happen to the poor dumb Redcoat... He doesn't even realise it's a trap... A nasty trap... And the Redcoat falls in the pit below... At that same point, a ship from the Bluecoat navy was waiting offshore till the Redcoat fell in the pit. Then, the soldiers came in action! Of course the captain of that ship couldn't resist to take a look as well. The Redcoat was easily found. He was already bitten by the huge ammount of snakes in the pit. No more words were wasted on the Redcoat, we Bluecoats have more things to do then executing stupid Reddies! The Bluecoats didn't say: "Oh poor Redcoat, let me give you some help to get out of that pit." And they didn't say either: "Ok men, let's give him a chance by challenge him for a fair duel." And they especially didn't say: "Four against one is actually not fair!" Cap'n Blackmoor's parrot tells what actually DID happen: Yeah, that's the way we like it here! Take that you nasty Redcoats! A well deserved treat! :pir-skull:

Should I post now then? The Reds are losing points! again....
-
That's a gaff sail: Quite important sail as well, it makes it much easier to steer the ship. It also makes the mizzen mast less bare. Hope that helps!
-
I'm terribly behind with army building! I haven't even 30 Bluecoats and 2 Redcoats... By seeing such an army I'm scared! There are too much of them! They are everywhere! Still, I hope to have an army that big one day... Keep collecting them! And let's hope for Bluecoasts in the next round!

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
Captain Blackmoor replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
I've experienced there are sometimes great opportunities to get cheap Redcoat or Bluecoat soldiers! The ships haven't bad prices either... -
Today it's the Red's turn right?
-
No, he didn't feel a thing. Great creation Stash! Very original and cruel. :pir-skull: Nice! Go Bluecoats!
-
Payback! I like that harvester. :pir-skull: It won't help you at sea however... But are you able to handle a ship? *wrong joke, wrong joke...*
