  1. All very well, no need to apologize! Just giving you guys a head's up.
  2. The second load of pictures is resized correctly, if you could resize the first ones in this topic as well you make me very happy. Irfanview is a free program which resizes fast without reduction in quality. It is simple to use, but a link to a tutorial is in my signature. After that we can talk about the ship, which looks good already! Already thanks!
  3. The Avalonia Trading Company is planning to build an embassy in Helgestorp, if permission is granted. The embassy will be a large building on top of a hill surrounded by pallisades, as heavy siege equipment isn't able to crawl up the slopes of the hill. The embassy will feature a feasting hall for diplomats, high officers and jarls to meet and greet, a storage room to store trade goods, stables, barracks and many more. All what's left is your permission Bricksandpants!
  4. That sounds interesting! The Avalonia Trading Company has an embassy under construction in the far North of Midgardia, and from that location we can conduct trade. The goods from Avalonia are well known because of their quality. The Avalonia Trading Company would be honoured to establish a trade route between us!
  5. The board resizes large pictures automatically, but the page takes ages to load, no matter if the image is automatically resized or not. Pages with large images take longer to load, especially for those with a slow connection or mobile devices. I'll have a look at your pictures Yawgmoth to see if they don't exceed the 800x600 pixels limit. Edit: your pictures are fine Yawgmoth. We should not clutter up this topic with off-topic content, so if someone has questions, please use PM.
  6. We don't like it when people bump topics from two years ago without adding something useful. Please bear in mind the discussion might have died, and if you have nothing worthly to add, then just leave it be. Thanks in advance.
  7. Ah. How refreshing. You have to resize them to 800x600, as that is the maximum we allow on Eurobricks. Irfanview is a free program which resizes pictures in no-time, a link to a tutorial is also in my signature. Forgive me for being picky, but this are the rules. After that we can continue with giving feedback, as it looks like a decent ship!
  8. Hello BrickPirate, and welcome to the forum. There is a link to a tutorial about deeplinking pictures in my signature. Posting pictures instead of links draws more attention to your topic. Oh, and your Brickshelf folder isn't public yet.
  9. The A.T.C. is proud to announce the warehouse is near completion, we have to spend resources on the Embassy in the far North as well. After that there is time for the A.T.C. Trade Hall/Guild. Oh and it's huge.
  10. Kind of.. I've been to the Dutch dockyard in Lelystad where they are rebuilding the "Zeven Provinciën". I've been standing near the prow of the ship, at the very bottom, and the prow was far more wider then I was. If I think the width of a head is about one stud, it would be more accurate to make the prow 2 studs wide. But that is just the measurement I used. One stud wide prows are realistic on smaller ships instead of large ones.
  11. Naah, they just need to think twice before undertaking a siege. Hey that is an awesome idea!
  12. Yay! Now Avalonia is the center of construction material! The sawmill was already there, now accompanied by the quarry! Awesome. Construction material monopoly! It's a great build de Gothia, fantastic work. I especially like the amount of detail you always put into your creations. Cool job fellow guildsman!
  13. One does not simply walk into Albion! This is a fantastic build, in my opinion one of the best in the time of the Guilds so far! It's sheer size and the amount of detail if mind blowing! I am very impressed! Oh, and I see the Governor of the A.T.C. walking there too along with some awesome fellows. An awesome build Zcerberus, you've outdone yourself! Now I can't wait to see your embassy!
  14. I've never seen it before indeed, as most of the ships are built on prefab hulls. I'd say to give it a shot, but you have to notice an one stud wide prow is only useful for tiny vessels. Prows were quite large to be able to withstand the waves.
  15. This is an awesome ship! It looks exactly like the real beast, fantastic work on the photoshopping too! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Expect it to be there soon!
  16. That is a very nice catapult already, awesome! The fierce look of it and the details make it even better. There is a link to a tutorial in my profile which may be useful in order to deeplink pictures.
  17. I always encounter problems with the length. It is very true indeed that a ship of the line is very wide as well.
  18. I would also really consider to use an extra midsection to increase the length of the ship. Otherwise you will end up with a bulky ship, your first version is amazing, but too short, which causes the 'sausage' look. Good luck!
  19. An extremely detailed find that is! A fantastic scene, and what are these (custom)painted wood pieces?
  20. As you can see there is already a topic about this, and on top of that your pictures are marked with the 'Confidential' watermark. I'll remove these picture and close this topic.
  21. Run while there is still time! I love it to see these epic minifigs together in this formation, you should be proud of your collection! I see endless possibilities with these soldiers. Now get yourself a couple of Barbarian Tribesmen too!
  22. Happy Birthday Aredhel!

  23. I just drop by to say hi.

  24. Two beautiful ships have been completed in the Pirates forum! The fearsome HMS Gauntlet by matt22hew, and the stunning Prinses Nikki by De Sandman! Time to check them out! The "HMS Gauntlet" by matt22hew, with the Work In Progress thread here! This magnificient vessel features a brick built hull, interior and it is completely modular! And the 36 gun galleon "Prinses Nikki" by De Sandman! A stunning ship with unique shapes and coloursheme. On top of that the Prinses Nikki has fantastic rigging and sails! A feast for the eyes!
