  1. Dubstep is awesome when driving around, but I don't listen it very often otherwise. Black Stone Cherry is an awesome modern rock band based on the 70's style: And Katatonia's most recent album is awesome too. For the rest are the Irish Rovers the best of all!
  2. A farmer and his wife and son ended up on the fertile A.T.C. lands after a long travel. The family started to cultivate the land, with corn and cherries they kept themselves alive. In addition to that the farmer and his son catch some fish sometimes as well. Recently they were able to buy a pig to grow for its meat and skin. The horse who travelled with the family, is now used as a labour force in the fields and for transport. Finally they bought a dairy cow, and so they started producing dairy products such as milk, butter and cheese. Now the farmer and his family have a prosporous life, and in exchange for using the A.T.C. lands they offer some of their products in return. Which means dairy products are now available all over Avalonia, and soon in the other guilds. Overview. The hard working farmer. Fresh Avalonian cheese! The dairy cow. Rubbish from the farm's past days. Guess where these planks are from? Interior of the farmhouse. The wife is preparing dinner. Fish, chicken, cheese, cherries and bread. Sounds tasty! Overview of the back. More on brickshelf, when public of course. It was a quick build, you might notice some things are still missing but the spare time to build becomes limited. I apologize for the grainy pictures as well, lightning is not at its best here.
  3. A small dairy farm has been built in the A.T.C. lands, the farmer and his wife and son may live and use the lands in exchange for a part of their dairy products.
  4. This is a nice tower, the woodwork and the snowy landscape really stands out for me. Although the Avalonia Trading Company might find it hard to pass by with the merchant carts, as there is a lot of snow!
  5. Let the breads and sweetrolls roll!
  6. Now that is what I call a surprise. Awesome! I just love the wyvern's head peeking over the wall, watching his next meal struggling with getting down to get the 'bait'. On top of that, the hall is very well built, an excellent addition to Avalonia!
  7. The A.T.C. has finally marked its lands: With the mighty sawmill and watchtower included. The A.T.C. lands don't feature a capital as Albion is just a mile away, there have also the headquarters and large warehouse been placed. The foundation of the Warehouse is already there, and a farm already finished, even though I already have the agriculture title, it's just a cool build. The warehouse will become my second largest project of all, and will cost some time!
  8. That is awesome! The woodwork is amazing, and you can see the resemblance with the old temples in Scandinavia! Absolutely fantastic, but the interior could use some furnishings though. But that's just me.
  9. The Avalonia Trading Company has a request. The new drawing looks excellent, but plot number 16, on which the A.T.C. warehouse, or storehouse will be built, is rather small. The A.T.C. warehouse keeps all the city supplies in there like water, food and so much more. The A.T.C. belongings like the treasury and such are in the headquarters, the trading hall on number 15. I don't want you to draw the whole inner sanctum over again, I would just request to take plot 14 and 15 instead of 15 and 16. If that is possible. This is where I'm thinking about for a warehouse, just a bit smaller, but you get the idea. The foundation is already there! And this for the A.T.C. office/trade hall. On behalf of the Avalonia Trading Company, already thanks!
  10. Looking good mate! You've put some serious effort in this, resulting in an awesome MOC. Your cliff work looks great, and the pub is amazing. Good luck with your military services, and keep up the good work!
  11. That is fantastic de Gothia! The building looks great! And it's so cool to see this is a real blacksmith, most people around focus on the forging of swords and armour, while this was more important and had a larger influence throughout the city and lands! Awesome build fellow guildsfriend!
  12. Awesome build there! I love that roof and stonework! The landscape around the tower is cool as well, and so are the minifigs. Job very well done!
  13. This is fantastic, you have captured it so well. It looks and it feels extremely cold there! It must be a challenge indeed to fish there. I love the way you've made the holes in the ice, and the cart and ground texture is awesome as well! If the lakes are frozen too much, the Avalonia Trading Company will gladly help you by trading some fish from our lakes!
  14. Fellow guildsmen! The Avalonian Trade Company Farm Estate is almost completed! Soon it's harvest time! Potatoes, corn and cabbage for everyone! And perhaps some nice salted ham as well? With some cherry sauce? Stay tuned!
  15. Avalonia is growing in power each day, awesome job fellow guildsmen! Meanwhile, the A.T.C. dungeon has been built to take care of bandits, marauders, highwaymen and other scum which make the trade routes a dangerous place. The A.T.C. will get them, and once we have them, there is no hope for them! No one shall mess with Avalonia in any way! The evil side of the Avalonia Trading Company!
  16. For the Lord High Executioner title: Somewhere, on a secret location in the A.T.C. lands there is a dungeon where trespassers, highwaymen, marauders and bandits will end up. It is not a place you want to be, as no one has left this dungeon alive. When someone is making the trade routes a dangerous place the individual(s) will be tossed in the prison for several days. Then the torture sessions begin to get as much information as possible about secret bandit hideouts and bandit leaders. After the prisoners have told everything they know, they are brought to death quickly by decapitation. When a prisoner doesn't tell anything, he will be killed in a way no one wants to be killed. The overview of the dungeon, prison cells at the left, torture device (the stretcher) and torture tools near the stairs. The cruel killing device in the upper right corner (based on a Dutch device used in the 80 years of war with Spain), the basket with bones and leftovers and of course the chopping block. It looks cruel, and it is cruel! Prisoners are being screwed up here, leaving their guts all over the place while their empty body is lying on the wheel, several meters high up to the ceiling. The torture device, also called "The Stretcher", simply because it makes you taller! And there your head goes! Myself giving orders in the dungeon, it's nothing personal, just good business!
  17. This is a very nice addition to the Avalonia guild! The lakes of Avalonia are filled with fish, and now it's time to get them! I like the small fishermans house and the woman repairing the nets in the backyard. The boat pulled onto the land is awesome as well. You certainly have put some effort in here, seen by the amount of small details. Awesome. Keep up the good work!
  18. This is a really cool Palace, or throne room. The elven influence in here is fantastic, the greenery and the small pond within the room. I also like the use of the Atlantis parts! Job very well done!
  19. This is awesome. The amount of detail is fantastic! The lush foliage, waterfall and smoking house, all perfect. Those trees are cool as well, but in my opinion brown hoses might look even better as trunks. I sure would love to have a piece of delicious smoked salmon steak!
  20. Just a bit North of the A.T.C. watchtower the new sawmill has been built. Near a dense forest to have a nice supply of trees. The sawmill is responsible for a large part of the logs and plank production in Avalonia. And there is never enough construction material in Avalonia! Some lord of a distant land should come up with a quarry to accompany the sawmill in the construction material production. The A.T.C. lands in Avalonia lack stone layers and minerals! Overview. Front view. The mill is 73cm in height. The stairs which give access to the next level, and a cart with new planks. A mill operator greets the man. A lumberjacker and his son delivering a log at the mill, while a hunter passes by on his way to the forest. The sign should say "A.T.C. Sawmill", but I was too lazy to make a whole sticker for it. The mill entrance seen from the minifig eye. The storage room upstairs in the mill. Supplies for the two mill operators and more. The wooden cogs of the saw mechanism, and saw at the main floor. A log is about to get cut into several planks! One of the walkways, just for sightseeing though as the stairs are on the other side. Thanks for watching guys! Cheers to all of you as I celebrate this huge project with a cold beer now. There is more on my flickr page!
  21. Hello fellow guildsmen! The Avalonia Trading Company Sawmill is almost up! Producing a huge percentage of planks and woodcarvings throughout the lands of Avalonia. Built near a dense forest, to cut down the trees. More pictures later on, in his own thread. Stay tuned and cheers fellow guildmen!
  22. Can the Avalonia Trading Company have a building permits for plot 15 for the large headquarters, and plot 16 for the large warehouse?
  23. Of course I do, but don't forget the A.T.C. is an independent organization, with its own army, property and lands. Most states depend on the A.T.C. for safe traderoutes and fair market prices. We do not pledge our alliance and loyalty to anyone except for the Great Lord of Avalonia. On the side note, I didn't see the latest version of the map until a few minutes ago, in which it appears the A.T.C. has already its own land. In the first post however, the land of Antyria isn't claimed. Yet I stick with my new position, just North of the capital. Trade routes on both land and water nearby, as well the natural resources. Fantastic work! The Avalonia Trading Company approves the position of its property. Now the production buildings and main office have a place to be built!
  24. And the A.T.C. has its own troops, with gunpowder weapons and more advanced techniques. And warehouses stuffed with resources. Instead, you are welcome in the land to claim the mountains for the dwarven tribe. Just leave the woods, rivers and farmlands for the A.T.C. and there will be no conflict. Of course you have permission to make use of the A.T.C. lands to grow crops and to cut logs. We would also like to establish a trade agreement, the A.T.C. will trade farmland products for the dwarven ores which we can transport over the river.
