  1. Yes, it probably is.
  2. I think its same as in last years harbour, except for the colour. It looks like sand green, but those pics can be misleading, so it could also be ordinary green. Sand green would be great for PT gunboat.
  3. Helicopter in museum set is very small, similar to this one:
  4. I took another look and you are right (and I was wrong, sorry). Minifigs in battle pack are those:
  5. Largest set is crocodile looking ship. Large city ship hull in sand green (at least it looks like sand green or it could also be new colour) is used, with added "legs" on the outside of the hull crocodile looking bick built "mouth" at the front. It looks nice, but its still city ship hull.
  6. Each set had its own distinctive colour (white, blue, orange, limet etc...) with minifigure in that colour (remember "jelly beans" from knights kingdom II?). There are "human" sets with normal medium sized spaceships and one brick built and insect shaped (fly, spider etc...) enemy in each set. "Alien" sets have insect shaped ships and vehicles (cobra etc...) with new shaped alien drivers and some small human vehicle (buggy, scooter etc...). Figures are more like space villain from CMF, but without artificial leg and arm (or like galaxy patrol without special armour) and as said, each one in different colour. Flagship set (70705 Galaxy Squad: Komando Shuttle / Bug Obliterator) is one large human spaceship with retractable wings plus smaller alien ship and spider similar to one in LoTR. Second larger set (70704 Galaxy Squad: Robo-Spezialbuggy / Vermin Vaporize) is giant wheeled vehicle.
  7. Correct in both cases. For me 1h sets are rarely interesting, which is too bad, because I allways treat my self with large technic set for new years holidays. I usualy waited with 2h flagship until new year, but this year out TT competion forced me to purchase 9398 earlier and I am lef without set to build fo rnew year. Grand prix racer is nice, but if I saw correctly its february release (like 8070 and log loader in past years). I guess I will have to go for only large set I dont yet have: 8421 :) I have no doubts that 2h will also be spectacular. Lego technic team is reall doing good job lately. I dont have any information about though, except that its gooing to be something big and remote controlled (possibly large crane). Edit: I saw this at TB: 42000 Grand Prix Racer / 99,99€ / Feb-Mar 42001 Hovercraft / 14,99€ / Jan 42002 Mini Backhoe / 19,99€ / Jan 42003 Action Racecar / 19,99€ / Jan 42004 Action Race Buggy / 19,99€ / Jan 42005 Motocross Bike / 19,99€ / Jan 42006 Material Handler / 59,99€ / Jan 42007 Motocross Bike 42010 Race Buggy 42011 Racing Car Motocross bikes price is wrong. Its at least 29,99euro, if not even 39,99 (I dont remember exactly, butits size is way to big for 19,99 set)
  8. There will be one other news: all sets (also in other themes) will have marked difficulty, in numbers. So, lets say those above mentioned set will have dicciculty "1", creator sets "2" or "3" (depends which), City "3", technic from "2" to "4" etc...
  9. I think its pull back motor, but Im not sure, because I didnt even think they deserve second look. Sets like this dont have much in common with technic.
  10. I really didn't like this new house. Its got some useful dark blue roof bricks, but that's all. Its small (even smaller than last 2h2012 beach house) simple rectanugalar house, similar to B (or even C) models of previous houses. I dont know the price, but I suspect it to be 29,99 eur. Its of course just my personal taste, but as owner of all previous cretor house I just dotn see it as being up to standard set with those houses. Its good that we should get much better house in 2h2013.
  11. Yes, something like this:
  12. I our TT race difference was huge, not only in speed but also in climbing power.
  13. If I remember correctly those "racers" use winding motors and coud barely be called technic. This is realy stuf targeted exclusivly to KFOL and should IMO be moved to Racers theme. Edit: I am surprised by high price of grand prix races. It look more of a 79,99 euro set to me. It better have lots of parts, since it dont have any power functions, gearbox and interesting panels. Chopper is 1100pcs and 90euro, ADAC truck is also 1100pcs and PF and is 100 euro. According to this Grand prix racer should contain around 1300 pcs.
  14. Could be (those pics are tiny), but I think that i saw "bald" heads.
  15. I've seen it all and those on video are not even close. I can not give any good news because basic shapes ale already known and details are hard to notice and remember in few seconds. Rancor pit is real one (it was already presented at show) Both A-wing and AT-RT are very simple designs. A-wing is sized the same as 6207, but wings are made differently AT-RT is in size and design somewhere between 7657 and 8014 Headhunter is probably best of all (its shape is already known) Droideka battle pack is really nice, but I dont like old republic battle pack. It includes sith warriors: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100301145624/starwars/images/f/f0/SithWarrior-TOR.jpg
  16. Correct, thats it. Looks like monkey (chimp) to me.
  17. Last years info was too soon and too unbelievable for most people and it it even generated topics on EB marked "lego will NEVER make Rock Crawler" (sounds stupid today, eh?) and similar. So, all in appropriate time (to be clear: I dont know anything about 2H except some hints and I didnt even ask for more). For now: lets enjoy and discuss 1H sets.
  18. If I saw correctly its this tires: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x1825 on standard wheels (like from 8070). Racer has no visible suspension, just what is gained from twisting wishbone arms (it could be that there are hidden shock absorber in bosy like in large racers (silver, williams and ferrari), but there are no arrows on the box showing that function. Functions are: steering wia knob in front of drivers cabin (it could be also connected to main steering wheel, but again, there are no arrows showing that), lifting main body (like in large racers), adjustable rear wing (or just switch for lifting the body) and working V8 motor. There are no new panels and all large ones are red (at least from what can be seen from the picture). All white ones are smaller type, like in 8071, but htere are many white liftarms and other parts. Body is not so solid as it appears from small picture, but its still very nice design. On the box it says that power functions can be added. I guess this is for lifting main body. There is nothing more to add to material handler, since it can all be seen from the picture: a little cunkier and maybe smaller than 8294, arm can be completly operate form the body (complete with claw, which was not the case in previous models) Motorcycle uses same wheel as 8053, but it has new, very nice motocross tires. If i remember correctly its colour is orange. It has two cylinder V motor (which is strange for motocross bike) Remaining set is small construction vehicle, but I dont remember any details (I have no interest in that kind of sets).
  19. Thats about it, except that blue is "normal" lego blue (if I remember correctly) I dont think so. Those three are together on same page and "ladder" is together with other fire sets, on another page. K-D, it interesting how fifferent opinion you have on this sets. I found fire station worst of all, and burning house fairly good set. I am interested waht others will say, after pisc will come out (should be anytime now, since so many saw them).
  20. That would be me, eh? Ok, I agree that its each ones own opinion that counts, but I just want to add thaat i am classic space fan and I very much liked SP3 and AC, but i really didnt like this new theme. The problem is that basicaly not "space" theme, but rather "action" theme, wcich takes place in place in space, but has much more in common with agents or world racers than other spače themes. But I have no doubt othat certain amount of people will find it atractive (besides KFOLS and TFOLS)
  21. They are running out of ideas with fire/police sets. Take old fire station and remove section between garage and use those bricks to add another floor to main building plus switch ladder car with one from standalone set and use leftover for new set. Take cement mixer and switch colour to yellow, take 3180 and make single truck with just 2 segments of semi round bricks, take dump truck, make it flatbed and put car on and you've got youself half year almost covered. Ok, to be fair: burning house is original, museum too (even if its just bank/city corner sized) and chase set includes this in new colour:
  22. Rumor goes around internet that there will be new fireman with all usual stuff (station, ladders car, chiefs car etc...) plus (finaly) a burning house, to put fire out. Great vehicles will continue and you've already heard about musem+ another "chase" set.
  23. Thats about it, yes. Chima is going to be huge, with cards etc... I dont know what name chima stands for, but those figs look very much like IJ akator skulls with monkey faces on them, so i thought maybe chima stands for chimp. But i guess we will have to wait for oficial presentation to what tlg thought with that.
