Zorro is always looking to rob the rich to give to the poor, but if the rich are willing to give it to us freely I am willing to accept it. So COUNT me IN!

He did ask that in his first sentence, but something must have gone wrong titling it I'm afraid. But LegoKing is absolutely right , this way it will be disqualified and no one wants that, does he! Maybe you should PM one of the following to change it: Phred, SLyowl, Mister Phes, Captain Green Hair or another moderator.

My opinion: You sure do have a lot of imagination and creativity, dear 74louloute! Anyway, in short: I like it! This is not only very original, but funny as well. In contradiction to some others, I think your bed looks great, and a lot more real then tiled beds too! Now you can see he lyes underneath it and is having wild dreams! Possible improvements: 1) Why not making Young Ned into the victim that is running away? Just see both haircolours are matching and perhaps take a picture of young Ned in his bed. 2) Add more 'toys' on the floor to show Ned really only has one true love! Examples: a hook (must have), a separate wooden leg and a cape. 3) MINOR POINTS: The first bubble doesn't look white, is it dirty white or is it another color (bley?) Non-brick related advise: 1) "Young Ned is sleeping. He spent his afternoon to imagine his life when he will be older. Now, he is sleeping." You said he is sleeping twice, maybe you could remove one of both to make it look more "pro". 2) Try to add more pictures, and change the first one into one like the second with a slight angle to right (like your current first), try to hide the large wall piece and do make sure you show all of their entire heads.

My opinion: Nice little entry you made, Davy_Blocks! It has a high level of details. On the other side I see some things that don't really belong in the PTV theme. Possible improvements: 1) I second Guss by saying your MOC needs more cruelty. Maybe the pirate could have killed someone, or there could be fighting. Your call. 2) The cavalry guy is from around 1850 at its earliest point, so he looks a bit out of place. Don't you have any more Imperials or perhaps an Islander could do the trick? 3) Do I see...pink? Why did you use pink? Gray or brown would be better IMHO. Non-brick related advise: 1) 800x600 really is the max, adapt to it or you might be disqualified I'm afraid. 2) Maybe a larger story would be nice?

Soldiers Arsenal: a lot... Cannon Battle: at least one full battery ! (8) but I try to buy them when they are on sale Brickbeards Bounty and the Soldiers Fort: one of each for myself + 1 Bounty to keep as MISB (on sale) thats it...Basically I will await promotions to buy them, in regard to my poor budget...

6 is the maximum and digital backgrounds are allowed, as long as they don't mess with the entry itself (eg. adding smoke to a cannon).

Dennimator, did you see the SES I'm trying to sell in the Buy and Finds forum?... Maybe if I don't find a buyer I might be convinced to give it to someone, since it is really taking up useless space now you know...

My opinion: A very good and strong entry Captain Kirk, and I've read it's still a WIP so we can expect even more of the finished product. GO Belgium, GO! Possible improvements: 1) Make it even more cruel, by adding some blood near the soldier on the ground. 2) I don't see how you could add a guardhouse without making it look to crowded...but if you can, from me! 3) I would try to use faces that look even crueler. The ones you've used are quite standard. But then again, it is a matter of opinion... 4) Some more details like a bird AND a monkey would look nice. Also maybe some plumes could come in useful? 5) I wouldn't add more minifigs either, you used enough to see action, and not too much to make ik look crowded. Non-brick related advise: 1) Add more pics of your final version. 2) Use a white background when you take those, or even better: use Photoshop or another program to digitize the background.

REVIEWS: 8396 Soldier's Arsenal & 8397 Pirate Survival
Zorro replied to NewRight's topic in LEGO Pirates
And another great New Pirates Sets review! Very well done NewRight, I voted above average for the both of them, since I think it can be sold even cheaper (and it might in the very near future...) BTW: I frontpaged it on Classic-Pirates as well, thats how much I like your review, NewRight! I hope you don't mind. -
I've seen some can be bought at fair prices, and I tried bidding on them twice (on Cannon Battle and the Impulse Packs) but no luck yet...

Probably with the Academy: down there it is 640x480 I believe . legojoe! Very well done! Those improvements you've added look superb. And AGAIN I see a new guard being killed or critically wounded . Is this because people secretly don't like the new Pirate line or because people just like the Pirates a lot more then the soldiers, I guess the second option is the most logical ! There is really nothing left now to improve, except for even a dirtier sewer...

*Finished* - The Pillaging of Neptune's Noggin Lagoon
Zorro replied to SirNadroj's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is so magnificient! There really is barely anything to improve with this entry... and again I spot some new guards... The only thing I would add are even more Pirates, so it looks like they are really flooding the 'village'! That's all I can think of for now. -
I'll have a swing at it Mister Phes!

Very well done making those improvements. And you incorporated the barrel-that-explodes idea, now I am flattered! This is a diamond-strenght entry, and certainly one of my favourites.

Imperialis est. I am an Imperial! Soldiers all the way.

Yes, I am certainly going to buy some of this set as well! And TheBrickster, I frontpaged it on Classic Pirates as well, hope you don't mind, I just love your reviews , they are amongst the very best of EB and beyond.

My opinion: An average to good MOC, could become a lot better with some improvements. I also like the guy in the bathtub! Possible improvements: 1) Give the burned floor more black bricks, or make the floor black in its whole. 2) Try using the same color for all floors. Brown might be best. Although I can understand your 'mood reasoning'. 3) Mixing fleshies and yellow minifigs is quite daring, I don't know I would do that. Non-brick related advise: 1) Seven pictures are too much, six is the maximum. Remove one before stating its ready. 2) Your pictures are too large.
-
My opinion: Nice! The first entry I see some raping in, if that is supposed to be raping at least... Possible improvements: 1) The bloodstream could be done a bit better. 2) Although it is out of its place, I find the walruss a nice addition! Some people however might not. 3) Some more details could be added, like plumes for some hats, some lobsters or other beach creatures and even more plants. 4) Don't you own a single boat? Since I would add at least one. Non-brick related advise: 1) Your pics are kinda big, I suppose you used too many dots per inch since your pixels are ok. 2) Zoom in on the island with your first pic, much space is unused at this stage. Also know you may go up to 800x600 pixels, but try to do so with a smaller dots per inch rate.
