There is a similar tread already (link) but that doesn't cover all the ships. EDIT: almost forgot, I really want a Black Seas Barracuda, I've always wanted that ship and I still don't have it. I do have two Skull's Eye Schooners, it seems they are easier to get at a decent price

Nice, I have the exact same cargo cases (that yellow-black train right? ) Funny how the silver astrodroid is being escorted by clone troopers

Astromech Workplace Contest: Coroscanti Garage

Actually I meant the construction over the big ship, I like the moveability of that crane. But the hover-cart is nice too -

Very nice, I like the working features of the hangar, like that crane, great alternative for an astromech droid btw -
Thanks, Islanders doing their Islander thing

The only official ship that has all the spots covered is the Black Seas Barracuda with two cannons on each side. What I hate more is the absence of wheels for the cannons, the new ships are cheap but not literally unfortunatly. Perhaps these lacking features are a result of an attempt to reduce the price, considering the licence Either way, it makes perfect sense that buying a non-licenced ship gives you more for your money. The only thing that attracts me in this set are the minifigures but it's kind of lame to spend 100€ just for those.

This may be a bit too obvious but perhaps you could use an 8x8 grates plate to cover all four grates: You might find that the grates are a bit too close to the mast But a nice feature is that they are open, you can see through them to beef it up a little you could add those grilles or maybe turntable bases. (I don't have a lot of those.) Just remember not to hold your ship upside down or anything when you apply these If you really want the grates to be a bit farther from the mast (farther in the direction cannons are pointed) you could use two 8x8 grate plates, I'm not sure if that would conflict with the walls though.

I like this Idea, it would be great if different MOCers could team up in all amking such modules and combine them Your modules look great by the way.

Interesting, do you want the brown border around those grilles as well ?

Le Fourageux, French third-rate ship of the line, minifig scale!
Sebeus I replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in Pirate MOCs
What is it with ships getting destroyed, it's getting a trend, yesterday a friend of my brother "accidentally" threw a tennis-ball at my frigate I suppose it's kind of dangerous to leave your ship on the ground though. On the other hand placing it on a table might risk it falling off... I better take precautions for my Flying Dutchman I don't know about Le Fourageux but if my Flying Dutchman would be destroyed I don't think I would be able to rebuild it the same way Good luck rebuilding. -
I think there is some kind of deadline, it's not published anywhere though, but there used to be an official comment for 500+ supporters already, now 1000+ are needed so I suppose if it takes long it might raise to more supporters

My Cuusoo project drew attention of a rather influent youtube lego reviewer (has over 12000 subscribers) I'm not really into youtube, I use it purely as a tool to upload video's. This person however, BrickQueen has quite the influence, my cuusoo project gained over 100 supporters in one day . I might get an official LEGO comment when it reaches 1000 supporters. I do not think my little ship will ever make a real set but I'm very interested in what LEGO has to say about it themselves, maybe some explination why there was no official Flying Dutchman in the first place ? Feel free to support my Flying Dutchman at Cuusoo... if you're in a good mood

Awesome, I love those four mudules, makes me want to try building one in the real bricks

Here you go: More ships for the fleet

Awesome, I love your take on the category, it's bold and you have the quality to justify the Idea, great job

Nicely done, I like the arched windows.

Update: video with some of the features I provided some kind of elevator that allows an R2-unit to jump up to... something -
I don't have enough lego to realize the diorama I had in mind The rocks are connected via technic pins and Bionicle joints, those are very useful as they allow many angles and offer a relative steady connection

That is a very interesting image, judging from the red-white sails that one ship is probably the BrickBeard Bounty, the other one I don't recognize at all. Very interesting, it's seems to be a three-master but that sail plan does not match any of the excisting official LEGO ships, I also see that there's a big skull on the stern, I only know of two ships that had this features and both of them had a red hull. It's seems very unlikely that there will be a new ship soon so my guess is that that ship must have been a prototype pirate ship that was later replaced by the BrickBeard Bounty perhaps (the mystery ship looked too scary maybe). It would make sense that they keep it intact, considering it would never be produced and it seems to be a nice ship I don't think so, the sail plan is wrong and there's a giant skull on the stern
-
The sails with sailors look great on that frigate. I don't have experience with Ship-of-the-lines..yet but I like what you have so far. The lower stern is nice

[pid][/pid]215D Originally meant for an Islanders Diorama, I would have named it Crocodile Bay Sacred statue. This would have made the entrance to the bay. Islanders catamaran (notice how one of the islanders uses a crocodile upper jaw as a shield) More pictures at my Brickshelf Gallery (once public).

Sorry, no more interior, I'd say the captain drops down into the gun deck and worms himself to the cabin Problem is that I have to completely rebuild the lower hull in order to fix an interior in the gun deck
-
Wow man, wow! Simply astonishing and it's not even finished yet, I really want to see it for real This tread will be very useful for me later when I try a Shio-of-the-line, the progress pictures are very interesting. Keep it up, you're building a miracle

Correct, I try to keep that the maximum, using more center pieces makes the ship look too narrow (compared to the its length) in my opinion

Astromech Workplace Contest: Mustafar Control Base

That control room looks great, I do have this feeling that astromech droids don't like the stairs
