  1. Very nice, I dreamt of something like that when I had my first Rock Raiders set only it was brown (to match the builders and rock monster). Great job
  2. Nicely done, maybe make it a little bit higher ?
  3. Ah, yes, recoiling cannon (I just saw the video doesn't work, I'll fix that). My organic ship-building technique : Lost Glory. And then some minor stuff that I really don't insist on indexing if it's too much trouble: Sea monsters Pirate attack on east indiaman And this one is indexed but it doesn't have the image: Technic Pirateship II
  4. It looks great, do you think it's ready for the real brick ?
  5. This looks very interesting, I haven't done much with the technique lately but seeing this makes me want to get back to it. I like the curve I see in the first picture, the curve at the bow seems a bit less fluent but that is a difficult part after all. I'll be watching this thread
  6. My second Heroine (not official entry) Laika, home to the Moruth Swamplands, she favors golden weapons. The head is from the third adventurers theme (with the dinosaurs) and fits perfectly with the yellow-darth maul upper head piece
  7. Have you ever wondered what it looks like when 100 minifigures are aboard one ship ? Yep, that's right, 100 minifigures are occupying the weather deck, I had to place a few in the waist (which is luckely kind of an exterior deck). This got me thinking, in the movie Davy Jones wanted 100 souls from Jack, I really wonder how that would look Anyway, the occasion for this picture is the fact that the Cuusoo Project reached 1000 supporters yesterday Thanks, sorry for the late response, I don't have the official Dutchman crew, it's strange but I didn't even ever come across a Black Pearl while I went to different ships shops Today was terrifying, I had placed the ship in the living room and then I went away with some friends, then I realized my ship was very vulnerable and the case of Captain Blackmoor and Admiral Croissant's ships came to mind. Furtunatly nothing happened So, can you find Jack Sparrow ? or the squid alien ?
  8. Very nice, I'm getting used to the water technique, it's efficient nonetheless, what I like most is the green on the rock structures Nice to see you here at EB now.
  9. This is so awesome, best if all, it's a tough tattoo Captain Brickbeard is building up a reputation
  10. Gongratulations to the winners, I think I'm just outside the prize zone, 6th or 7th Well, the winners' entries where better than mine so that's where I belong
  11. I want a hammerhead shark for sure, I wanted it years ago when I first got some Diver sets which already included a shark, white shark, sawfish and mantaray, back then I simply wanted a hammer to go with my saw, for a complete kit It would be cool if they are in a new color, maybe dark blue, or maybe two colors, a white underside for example.
  12. This is looking very good, I really like the detail at the stern, you obviously know what you're doing, you must have some good reference material of the QAR, haven't you
  13. Allthough I really want more dolphins I didn't select it now, I saw Jaguar and I was sold
  14. 1 x Narwhal = 5 points 1 x Jaguar = 5 points 1 x Turtle = 3 points 1 x Seagull = 1 points (total=14 points)
  15. Yep, that's a great improvement, this picture shows a great shape, especially the cabin, it goes with the flow (curve) of the ship very well.
  16. Hey, what happened to the dolphin ? (it's not in the submission tread) oh well, a narwal would be nice too, less likely though :S
  17. This might be silly but I actually like those green chairs a lot, a simple but effective design, good job on the information counter as well
  18. Nicely done, it are the small details that make this a pleasure to the eye, I like how you equiped that horse and that ripped flag is pretty cool too
  19. Thanks Haha, funny but absolutely true
  20. Gongratulations on finishing such fine series, it is without any doubt the best lego series I have seen so far, I didn't go through all parts yet but I did read most of them (and the final was very exciting), I surely intend to check out the parts I missed. In the beginning I had to get used to the "vignette" style, the absence of background. But that's no issue for me anylonger, great job and keep it up!
  21. Whew, I think I'm out of compliments now, used all of them already in this tread... oh wait I haven't... This is currently my favourite lego ship and this compliment only works once Be sure to take enough pictures of the display and the people losing their lower jaws and extending their eyes
  22. hmmm, maybe, it might get a little cramped because of the two big masts, I saw one with two midsections a while ago link (the small ship in front, these ships were brought by Captain Greenhair and Bonaparte) I'd say it's worth a try to build one with only one midsection. This side design doesn't work very well on large ships so I might as well experiment some more with small ships, I'll try a brig one of these days
  23. She's looking delicious, I really like the skylight, I suppose it's not really a skylight but that would have been hard to do. So now comes the question everyone has been wanting to ask...or maybe only me... Bluecoats or redcoats ?
  24. This is very nice, I have been checking out your earlier works on mocpages (like the circles of hell), I like that flaming hand
  25. Nice, great use of those modified bricks. I made another warrior beauty, how should I post it so it wouldn't be confusing that my other one is my official entry ?
