  1. I used to photoshop my name on all pictures of my mocs, it didn't prevent people to steal it anyway My moc still got stolen, luckely there were a lot of people who recognized my creation. But these were pictures of mocs, I suppose you can't write your name on an LXF file, I never understood why stuff like this happens, what could you possibly win by posting a moc that isn't yours? if it's just to show off or something that's just sad. Anyway, this really got me to think about what I should do with my LXF files
  2. Wow, I'd say the best won
  3. Yes, just paper, recycled paper, I drew some lines on them but it's hard to see.
  4. I was thinking about using Black and White, the combination resembles some kind of neutrality, or a balance between good and evil (yin yang) I simply was looking for the colors most different from the existing guilds (and the ones I have ofcourse). I also have a couple of light blue flags...baby blue
  5. I'm in for that challenge, I got a story ready, just need to build something around it, which is odd, because I usually first build something and then make up a story around it
  6. At first I didn't have a name for it, I came up with it while writing the dialogues for the story. I made quite a lot of ships already, it's getting hard to find names for all of them
  7. Agreed, the small hulls give less space to build, the sides just drop in place and when they do they pretty much stay in place, unless I would lay the ship on its side or turn it upside down Thanks, the blue topper is on a brown hull now and that on the other hand looks terrible Possible for later, for now it will be under no command of any coat
  8. Very nice, I like that water, it looks like there really is a current
  9. Very nice, Roerblad is a very suitable name, If I didn't know any better I'd think you were dutch
  10. That hull, it floats ? I would really love to see it floating in some water
  11. It seems the Islanders are making their comeback, atleast I hope to see more in the future. That skull shaped cave is what I like most about it, reminds me of the movie King Kong (the recent one with the island in the mist).
  12. These look very good, I like that Louis XIV figure, that halberd design is a winner
  13. Likewise, Voting itself became a challenge.
  14. Thanks, Those red windows were all I had, It's time to expand my collection
  15. My entry: Sebea ( ) The leader of a band of amazons who make their home in the forests alongside the red river (Siccus Badlands). The amazon tribe consists out of women only, although they are known to kidnap lone travelers who cross their land, it's not really clear why but it has something to do with the survival of the tribe. She's great archer, with her magnificent eyesight she never misses a target. All parts used are official LEGO parts. Nice Idea by the way, I was a bit confused when you said 'Heroine', thought you meant something else
  16. [pid][/pid]139B 19 November 2012 : Updated stern : http://www.eurobrick...t=#entry1436624 (internal link to post) I made this ship to use it in a pirate series, a story involving my own and other signature figures, I already made the first two episodes, check them out at mocpages if interested. The Tumblehome technique is another variant on my simplyfied Captain Greenhairs frigate technique, infact it doesn't require hinge plates at all. My other 'simplyfied' ships are the Intersector and the Christine. The ship itself has no interior because it's too impractical (and small) to tell a story in, that's why I made an additional set up for interior scenes: (This picture is not from the ship itself) Well I hope you like it, I will post the mocs I make for the series here at CP. The series itself can be viewed at mocpages. But I warn you, you might find it a bit silly, It's not particulary a serious story Oh and I made another ship, for the Kaliphlin Guild : Barqonian Interceptor.
  17. wWow, that's a lot of transparent studs, I like how you shaped them into this water elemental, beautiful building as well, too bad the elemental decides to smash it
  18. Sweet, I like the sight of a "pack" of knights on horseback, you just inspired me to do something very similar. Those black knights on front look great, it's funny but a great Idea nonetheless that you used the dark knight as well, nice bat-shield
  19. Interesting, are the lagoon creature and crocodile friends ? I like the bit of lighthouse on the rock, this would look great with some surrounding fog
  20. Thanks, about the rock formation, I just like to put some fantasy inspired details in everything I make, in real life it is indeed unlikely that a rock structure like that would hold, although it's possible, perhaps in the same way underwater caves are formed
  21. The end of the world It's a fantastic build, I love that waterfall but the building itself is pretty amazing as well, great job
  22. This is so cool, my first thought, was Davy-Jones-Locker yeah, I'll play But then... well, the long list of rules frighten me, I better stick to ship building and let other people fight with my ships So, who wants to use my Flying Dutchman? just kidding Maybe I'll try making my ship's template when I find some time.
  23. This looks great, I like that astro calendar you made
  24. Very nice, I'm planning on getting the set when it comes out here...and I can afford it I like the expansions I see in this tread
  25. Thanks Well, she does have a special taste... llama's in space But whenever I build a diorama she's always happy to make some animals to go with it
