  1. An alternate model for 42122 set: My fourth (and not last ;) ) alt model for the Jeep. Instructions Featuring articulated steering: Front blade elevation: Pendular supension: Rear winch: Video:
  2. You have put 5 small gears inside each differential?
  3. An alternate model for 42150 set. Wheel Dozer, with pullback motor. This model uses 100% parts from A model :) With simple lever, allowing to lock the blade in upper position: I tried to add some details, like cab steps and "hydraulic hose" Image gallery Instructions
  4. An alternate model for Bugatti Bolide. My second alternate model in 2023! :D Featuring front wheel steering and fake V6 engine. Video: Image gallery Instructions available at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-134650/M_longer/42151-f1-rs-concept/#details Interchangeable steering knobs for your convienience :) Oh, one more thing: except rear "diff" and engine openings, chassis' underside is completely flat.
  5. I have made a Dozer out of 42150 :) https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-134896/M_longer/42150-pullback-dozer/
  6. Model is wrongly scaled. That's all. Even basic dimensions are wrong, not to mention the details and angles. I've made a quick comparison, using two points for reference: First, the commonly used wheel diameter. As you can see the blue picture shows that both height and length of the model exceeds the proportions of real GT. Second, red picture is scaled down to the rear wheel arch. Height is almost perfect, but wheels look like from a skateboard, and overal length is decreased. It could be an awesome set, like the 42110. Yet many compromises has been made.
  7. My first alternate model in 2023! 42147 Ultralight. And again it's so small, that it is free one. A simple aicraft, known as "ultralight". Ultralight aviation (called microlight aviation in some countries) is the flying of lightweight, 1- or 2-seat fixed-wing aircraft. Free instructions here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-133672/M_longer/42147-ultralight/#details More pictures: https://bricksafe.com/pages/M_longer/42147-alt/ultralight
  8. My thoughts about the set, will be remade into proper, forum friendly review soon: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cmh5BALIUpK/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CmjS5k6LmFu/
  9. Nice idea and all, but using two hubs to controll other two hubs cost way more than buying some CaDa motors with Sbrick or Buwizz.
  10. CaDa M motor is more powerfull (speed and torque) than LEGO one.
  11. LEGO official complaints. And patents.
  12. Batman's ride made from tractor! Not so serious model this time, with free instructions. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-132048/M_longer/42136-tumbler/#details Front wheel steering and rear suspension. More pictures: https://bricksafe.com/pages/M_longer/42136-alt/tumbler
  13. As I said, prices taken from Brickset, maybe before the price rise :)
  14. All prices were taken from Brickset. C+ Lights: 9.99€ Hub: 34.99€ M Motor: 12.99€ = 58€ PF Price of 8293 was 36.99€. It had: Switch: 6.52€ Lights: 7.30€ Box: 7.79€ M Motor: 8.76€ = 30,37€ And few gears + packaging sum up to 37€. It means that box you are dreaming about would cost more than 60€. Control + have motors that can be used as a servo or drive motor, which wind up the cost of each motor. and even motorized C+ sets like 42113 and 42145 use hub and L motor.
  15. Yes, I'm little late to the party. But let me show what I wanted to make for the contest; The initial idea for this model arosed back in 2021. There was a contest here at Eurobricks, about making stlldess version of classic sets: I always liked the 8855 set, with its movable modules. Read more about 8855 at Blakbird's Technicopedia @Blakbird And then I realized that 42108 has trans Red and Green tiles. Perfect colours for navigation lights on an yellow aircraft, don't you think? With Yellow being the main colour, and black being second one used in 42108, I decided that I'll raise the bar and I'll make that studles version as an alternate model. Here's the initial sketch; As usual, many other things interrupted that, and I have finished the model year after contest ended, in June 2022. And now I have finally found time to make instructions and proper presentation. Here's the final model along its predecessor: Direct size comparison: So, let's start with the fake engine. A flat-twin one, connected directly to a 3 blade rotor. Can be put in motion either by pushing the blades or by turning the knob under tha cab. And speaking about the underneath, this aircraft has both floats and landing gear so it can be operated from either land or water: All doors, including service hatches, can be opened. Model features movable ailerons and elevators controlled via a flightstick at the top of the plane. There's also a t12 gear that controls the rudder. Video: With a wingspan of 80 studs, I had problems with taking comparison pictures of this model :D There are also two buoys; Leftover parts: This model has been designed to be hang under the ceiling. The rope provided with the set can be used for doing that. 16. To be honest that bevel ring did not worked perfectly in 42043 under high load made by hoses.
  17. It's worth mentioning that 60t turntable in this set is new mould, not the same as in 42053 and 42043. It has straight teeth, not beveled:
  18. It makes sense when you know how it is assembled. Whole H frame slides into turntable and then is secured horizontally with that pin:
