  1. Yeah, Lambi seemed like quite a logical vig kill after yesterday. Possibly a SK kill, but the amount of attention on her makes it less likely. Patrekr was a more likely SK kill IMO. Why was Patrekr the scum kill? Give some reasons, mate. And why couldn't the scum have been blocked - or their target protected? This defense doesn't sit well with me either. Scum are known to attack other scum on Day One. A common scum tactic, and one I myself have used in a mafiascum.net game, is to call out/accuse your partner on Day One, when nobody else suspects them, and then to back off/unvote them when they start gaining suspicion. Notice some similarities between Tarben's play and this tactic? I believe Jarl just straight up quoted Tarben's post, which included the part about me and Mist. People have started claiming to you already, I see. You seem awfully certain that the scum killed someone last night. How can you be so sure, unless you yourself are Scum or the SK?
  2. Go onto the mafiascum.net wiki. It explains the basics of most roles, but some of the less common roles are different on EB than on mafiascum.
  3. Nice kill, Vig/SK. It seems I was right about Lambi. Patrekr's kill would make more sense coming from a SK than the scum (because he was fairly quiet, middle-of-the-road, and unlikely to be protected), but it really could have been either of them. Yeah, I agree. It could be that those people are looking back to the last game we played here and comparing this game to that (where the Scum were dropping like flies).
  4. That's a good point. It might also explain why Mist jumped to the conclusion that this was the case. I've played two games previously with Mist, and in both games she's been behaving oddly, but in this one her behaviour has read as scummy, not just as "typical Mencot". She doesn't have a scum game because she's never been scum before, so I find her behaviour similar to that of a first-time Scum. Wow. "I know he thinks he's town". If Jarl is scum, then he knows he's not town. If he's town then he knows he's town. So how can think his alignment? Also, you seem awfully sure that he is town in that second sentence. Tariq, do you know how to quote someone? You click the "quote" button beneath their post or use quote tags: [ quote ] [ /quote ] without the space between the brackets and the text.
  5. Wait, ignore that, I found episodes 50-53 on animeflavor
  6. I think aliens will be the next villains, and the series will deal with the ninja exploring the different realms.
  7. I guess. Your first paragraph kinda explained the reasons behind the post, so I'll accept that for now, but you're not off the hook yet in my book.
  8. Am I right in assuming that episode 51 is "Peak-a-Boo"??
  9. I didn't interpret Lambi's post in that way. It was posted shortly after Cranebeinn got a few votes and some suspicion. It seems more likely that Lambi was attempting to divert attention from Cranebeinn than from Brand. Besides, Brand already has more than enough votes to lynch him. Even if Lambi's tactic was successful, it would be unlikely to divert more than two or three votes away from the Brand lynch. So I think this is more incriminating of Lambi/Cranebeinn than Lambi/Brand.
  10. That's not what I meant. What I meant was: what criteria separates a 3-point build from a 4-point build (for instance) In fact, to make it easier for you, can you please give the 3 credits directly to NuckElBerg instead of giving them to me?
  11. Wow, so much to read over! Ping. You are simply aping what Pudding-Head suggested in the post above yours, and making it worse by suggesting that being "annoying" is a better reason for a lynch than being Scummy. Can you please clarify who the "ally" is in this theory? Brand, or Mist, or someone else? Another ping. You're accepting him as town just because he might not be the traitor, let alone scum? That's an awful point. It's suspiciously similar to a Scum in a cosplaying dream I recently had, who "accepted" his buddy as town for a completely asinine reason. Absolutely not. However, it is often the case that scum defend townies on Day One in a "white knighting" process. Therefore, one can conclude that someone who goes over-the-top in defending others on Day One is a likely scum, whatever the other player's alignment. I'm fairly sure of this as well. However, it is not a reason for Brand's towniness, only that Brand and Pudding are probably not scum faking a PM together. "I'm bandwagoning, but I'll say I'm not really committing to it so I won't look too bad when he flips town". Did you skimread his whole post or what? He quite clearly posted quotes to support his points. You honestly think he was being serious??? Everyone else is discussing, arguing and getting reads. You, however, call out a lurker and waste your vote. Looks like you're trying to distract us and change the subject... Totally. I'm never claiming to you Day One again But actually, thanks for being underhanded. You taught me not to be so trusting of others So many people are on my suspicions list right now! Lambi, Toki, Cranebeinn, Lodmund....but my vote will remain on Mist for today.
  12. Please transfer 30 Credits to NuckElBerg (I really don't know why it was only 30 and not 33....)
  13. I must say that Dardanel puts across some very good points. I'd like to know exactly what separates, say, a 3 from a 4, or a 4 from a 5... One other question: Why didn't I get my job bonus for this build? I included my character exploring new terrain and included flora of the planet as well.
  14. I was interpreting Kaupmad's comment, not stating my own opinions. I believe that Kaupmad was implying that those two were scum. Personally, I have no real read on either Pudding or Tarben, save that I don't think Tarben is the scum traitor. Brand is mildly suspicious IMO. Not gonna happen on Day One. With all those accusations flying around, scum trying to divide a vote would be obvious. People would spot who was pushing for a no-lynch.
  15. So you think Brand and Tarben are both scum and engineered this all? Interesting perspective. Your concern about defending/accusing people is also noted.
  16. I voted you based on what I call a Freudian slip. I agree, there's not much you can defend yourself with. All you can do is deny it. As I said, right now it's the most suspicious thing I've got to go on.
  17. You know what? I think I'll go ahead and Vote: Mist (Mencot). I find the whole Brand-Tarben-Pudding debacle so topsy-turvy and complicated that I just can't seem to get my head around it and determine who is scum, if any of those involved (it could be that the Scum are sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn and watching us fight). Mist is the only person who has done something worthy of a vote in my book. I'm open to changing my vote should anything else more suspicious come to the table, or for the purpose of granting us a lynch.
  18. One other thing: I looked at Mist's past games and it seems she has never been Scum. Nobody knows her Scum-game. So if she is Scum, she is probably going to be acting the same as usual. Only she Freudian-slipped this time. I live in the UK. I woke up this morning and saw 4 new pages made while I was asleep. Come on, mate. What even is this? If you scum-read someone, then it means that you think they are scum. Mild suspicion / FoS is a lesser degree of suspicion, but calling it a scum-read clearly implies that you think he is Scum. If Tarben is the traitor, then he's done a very poor job of trying to find the Scum. I really can't see an experienced player like Tarben doing this as Scum. Brand has also been acting weirdly, enough to put him on my suspicions list, but I'm not convinced he's Scum; I had a strange dream of a cosplay world where he was very scummy but in fact, Town.
  19. Even so, I believe that was a Freudian slip of sorts Besides, it isn't even Einherjar, it's Loyal. If you are Loyal, Kara would have used the word Loyal in your Role PM. Therefore, I conclude that you are Scum trying to appear Town.
  20. No fair Why are you all watching each other? If you ask me, that's extremely odd. Are you all scared? Umm...I thought we are all Einherjar here... ...are you saying you aren't one ??
  21. Thanks narbilu - that's quite a compliment!
  22. Mission Log: Entry 8 ~ At last, I've been assigned to man a vehicle which isn't a prototype! Too bad it isn't a shuttle or a speeder, like last time. At least it looks kinda cool. The journey from Sorn to Marphacia wasn't a long one. However, I got to travel in style on board a colossal troop transport, where I was briefed for my next mission. As you know, the surface of Marphacia is covered in plant life, foliage and swamplands. It is the swamps that particularly interest us, since they contain raw biomass, which is essential to our corporation. Therefore, you will be piloting a Kawashita Biomass Extractor, a revolutionary new mecha which extracts this biomass from the ground using our newest technologies. I've assigned Jycho Tyrus to accompany you on this mission, since there is a possibility of M.A.N.T.I.S. presence on Marphacia, and I've been informed that you don't have any weapons training . Good luck! [ The KBE. Note the fully poseable legs and rotatable control seat. I still don't know how the heck it extracts biomass from the ground - that's the scientists' concern, not mine! ] [ Minus the KBE and figs ] [ C&C welcome! ]
