Ragnarök Now 3: Confirmation and Discussion
Dragonfire replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'll be going on vacation tomorrow for 15 days, with patchy internet access from my phone. Sorry in advance for any limited activity over that time period. -
But I don't think there's anyone left alive who's that dumb, which worries me. Are they simply acting dumb to give us a false sense of security? Hang on... what? Why would Mist claim traitor to Tarben when she asked for the traitor to claim? This is just getting weirder, and I have a feeling that Mist was intentionally being weird to mess with our heads. Remember the guy on the writeboard conversation who spoke in weird text talk? I think that was Mist too. You know what? I have another theory. (This is assuming that Lodmund is town and telling the truth about the writeboard conversation). Maybe the Scum were convinced that Lodmund was legit, and were alerted to the fact that he was fake-claiming when you mentioned the "two others" who had fake-claimed. A bit far-fetched though. If this is true then by now, the scum themselves should have worked it out and joined up with the other team, but it's very unlikely that it is the case. Look at Eurobricks Mafia I. Both teams had the same name.

We got another one! Three down, how many more to go? It's unfortunate that we lost two loyal folk last night - seems I was wrong about Munud. I'm beginning to think that there isn't a SK now - there have never been more than two kills.

Location: C04 Aeristus Tags: Exploration Mission Log: Entry 11 ~ That new shuttle that Narbilu gave me is absolutely wonderful! Within minutes of my deployment, I was able to locate the stolen shuttle using the advanced tracking devices aboard the Mk.VI. It was apparently situated on a planet known as Aeristus. I headed there as fast as I could, determined to find the thief and bring him into custody. However, when I arrived on Aeristus, I found that its surface was covered in dense foliage and trees, making it impossible for the shuttle to land without getting trapped between the trunks. I therefore turned to my secondary mode of transport. Leaving my robot co-pilot to pilot the shuttle, I pressed the big red button which deployed one of Kawashita's newest inventions, the hoverboard. As long as I kept my balance, I'd be fine! (easier said than done!) Now to locate that pesky alien.... Figless: [ C&C appreciated! ]

These exceed expectations! I'll definitely be buying the Bigfoot and Gargoyle, probably the Werewolf too. I'll also buy the Grim Reaper/Spectre- even though the head looks awful, the rest of him is great! Looking forward to the pics of the Fly and Banshee! -

Mission Log: Entry 10 ~ My mission on Crentium ended in a total disaster. I spent the entire day hunting for that alien, but it was nowhere to be seen. At long last, I gave up and returned to my shuttle. To my horror, I found that the alien had also found the shuttle and had somehow figured out how to work the controls. Before I could do anything, it had taken off with my only escape route off Crentium, and two files filled with important Kawashita military secrets! I was crestfallen. It was the first time I had failed a mission and now I was utterly stranded. Luckily, a transport arrived to pick me up. On board, however, I was faced with the wrath of Narbilu and the branch executives. He informed me that if the other corporations got hold of the secrets on the files, the consequences would be disastrous. He gave me a simple task: find the alien and retrieve the files, or lose all status and rank as a KG board member. I was shocked. I promised resolutely to complete this task, but there was a problem. I had no shuttle any more. However, Narbilu showed me to a private hangar where reserve ships were kept. He told me that I would be assigned to a brand-new Kawashita Y-Class Mk.VI shuttle! I had piloted a Mk.II shuttle before, so the controls were easy to manage. The shuttle had sophisticated tracking devices which quickly locked on to the stolen shuttle's location, and powerful repulsor beams on its rear. At last, I was ready to find the thief and reclaim my honour! [ C&C Welcome! ]

Ragnarök Now 3: Day Three
Dragonfire replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This almost sounds like you're advocating for an unvote of Mist... Wait wait wait. You expect me to believe that you, Agnar and Pudding all independently fake-claimed traitor to the scum and talked to them on writeboards??? Sounds too strange to be true... From what you have told us of the conversation, it sounds like the scum cottoned on to your fake-claim. Maybe they have realised that all the traitor claims so far are fake and they are still trying to find the traitor... however, I think by now the traitor, if there is one, would probably be in contact with the scum at this point. -

Lodmund, I find your unvote suspicious, mainly because you're refusing to give reasons for why you think Mist is town. I'm also intrigued about the fact that both you and Pudding seem intent on talking about"private" matters in public. If you want to keep things private, we have a whole PM system... -

(I've edited this quote to remove the irrelevant bits) 1) Mist asking for a traitor could be a ploy to make town think that the scum have not found the traitor yet... 2) Who is "quiet and hiding for three days now" ?? -

That doesn't help to find scum. Scum could just as easily have been bussing Jarl before his confession... What do you mean by "fingered"? Three people claimed traitor? Might there actually be a traitor then? So, basically the Scum are a complete mess Should be easy for us then... Did you tell them anything that could have affected their kill? -

So what was it based on? Lemme guess, this is the part where you ask for the traitor to reveal themselves....? And rule number one: giving up as scum is bad play. -

Agreed. When has the scum team ever lost their kill because one member is lynched? Who? Are you accusing the blocker of lying? Why bring this up - it serves only to sow seeds of uncertainty. So everyone is scummy. OK. If you have no knowledge of who could be scum, why were you accusing Pudding earlier this day? He wasn't. He merely pointed out that you haven't suggested any other reasons why there was only one kill last night. A failure to come up with reasons implies that you are scum and resigned to your fate. Umm...nobody ever called Petr a "loyal town". Your sarcasm is displayed rather randomly here. Sheep. Anyway, time for my vote. I've voted for Mist all three days, been suspicious of her since Day One, and stated most of my reasons in previous days. Additionally, she was blocked when two kills went missing. Vote: Mist (Mencot) Another sheepy vote, just like your vote for Jarl yesterday. You're the definition of "under the radar". -
Is it possible that Cat.A could be extended by a few days?

Ragnarök Now 3: Day Three
Dragonfire replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Funny you say this, since I remember a certain traitor by the name of Brand in a previous game... of life. He was also lynched Day One, and turned up Scum (well, he was janitored, but would have turned up scum anyway). Assuming this game is like that one, then no, none of the dead could have been the traitor. What? "Disclaimer: I'm not defending him because it looks scummy. He has said stuff with content and nonsense as well". First, when have I ever said nonsense? Secondly, this post looks disturbingly like Lambi's post from Day One where she flip-flopped on her Tarben read in exactly the same way as you are doing now. She was scum. You seem awfully informed on the traitor role. Defense noted. -

...I still don't understand what point you're trying to make. In fact, I feel rather insulted by being grouped with others and labelled "quiet, under the radar, middle of the road". I've tried to be active when I can, and the timezone is a big difficulty for me. I was rather inactive in my last game, but I've tried to increase my participation now. So you think that Jarl was pulling a fast one yesterday and trying to discredit the investigator (who would only have investigated two people so far)? -
Ragnarök Now 3: Day Three
Dragonfire replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The thing that's worrying me is that there has been talk of traitors since the beginning of Day One (that PM debacle) and it has continued all through the game (Mist's comments yesterday regarding Lauga) and then Jarl made his scum-claim post asking the traitor to claim to him.... is it just too coincidental that traitors have been discussed multiple times in this game? This makes me think that there is a traitor. If I'm wrong, there's no traitor and it was all a gambit, then Munud's post at the beginning of the day is a great follow-up from Jarl's claim yesterday. Makes me think that they were scum buddies planning it together. Seems like a rather random comment to make. Why single out certain players when others have also been keeping quiet. Tarr and Ragnvald, for example. And the fact that I haven't said much is mainly due to my timezone - every morning, I wake up and three or four new pages have been written. It's hard when everyone else lives in the States If we're talking about quiet people, then let's add Canute, Petr, Petrus and Kaupmad to the list. That makes ten people. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make by singling out four from ten. -

Oh, OK. I've just never heard it getting called an angel before. So you're accusing both Pudding and the blocker of being Scum now? Now you're getting defensive and OMGUS-y. Just because you got blocked and there was only one kill doesn't mean you have to start accusing everyone left and right of being Scum. Unless you're Scum yourself, in which case, carry on being as scummy as possible so that we can lynch you -

According to Pudding, there is a vig. We can assume that the scum have a kill too. And there is usually a SK in this big a game, and Dagstyrr's kill seems like a SK kill to me. So I can conclude that there are most likely three killing roles in this game. What's an angel? Interesting news about Mist. I think I know where my vote is going today...
