Avalanche listens to both stories, "I'm sorry for what you've suffered," he mutters, unsure of what else to say.

Avalanche listened to the vampire's tale, "It must be terrible, being forced into a life where your own order casts you away...." He paused for a moment, "I used to despise your kind, and viewed you all as servants of some anonymous necromancer....When I joined Heroica and actually got to know some others like you, I realised how small-minded and wrong I was." Hearing Ezeran speak, he turned around briefly, "What the heck is a demonic symbiont? I don't recall ever coming across one before..."

Avalanche decides to break the silence, and since he is slightly disturbed by the giant mouth, asks with absolutely no tact whatsoever, "Excuse me, sir, what is that on your chest?"

So in your opinion, Smaug was a wyvern?

I believe this was asked a few pages back, but I and several others are still keen to see the judges' scoring criteria. Just so that we know what we have to do to improve our builds, or to get a higher score. Is it possible we could see this?

Do you mean the one where the players met Ragnar, with the fire giants? Or the one where Harald revived people with the boar meat?

Avalanche briefly turns when he hears her reply, but doesn't answer. He wonders if anyone else will sign up for the Fields of Glory party.

Is he going to change job class immediately after you finish the quest, or can he bear waiting?

Just in interest, is Ragnar the same Ragnar as the host from Ragnarok 1 ??

Guess that's him sorted then Yeah, I just read #100 and I'm pretty mad I pulled out. But I really couldn't have kept up participation at that time. And yes, Avalanche never would have sided with the Wolfgang and let the quest fail

I'm installing it right now.... In other news, my character Avalanche has returned to Heroica after about a year of absence. Is it possible he could be un-archived?

Avalanche looked up from his tankard as the vampire spoke. Shrugging, he replied, "Temperatures don't really bother me. As long as I'm not in the desert or in somewhere like Dastan, I'll be fine."

The doors to Heroica Hall swing open. A cold gust of wind blows into the hall as a cloaked figure enters, shutting them behind him. Even with his thick cape, his identity is obvious. He looks around, searching the hall for familiar faces; a sigh of relief is exhaled as he sees nobody whom he previously knew. Entering, he signs his name for the Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory before ordering a drink and sitting down, alone. A former Hero has returned.
