Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts

Minga finds this switch of opinions...well, a bit off, especially since Clementine was extremely convinced of Harriet's scumminess earlier. Ping.- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts
Dragonfire replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Minga thinks that Clementine voting for Harriet is an attempt to make her seem more towny in our eyes. Doctor Wen is the classic Day One lynch whom everyone piles on; Clementine knew this and guessed he'd be the eventual lynch. Not voting for Wen looks towny and was probably a ploy to get votes off her. The other explanation, as Ender pointed out, is that Clementine is trying to remove suspicion from Wen. (This is, of course, assuming that Clementine is scum in this scenario) Minga sees no need to change her vote, as the lynch is already sealed. Minga predicts poor Wen will flip town, but at least we have a lynch.- 214 replies

Interesting division... Avalanche would probably go for the middle faction (or maybe Wolfgang ) Sandy, can you clarify whether our present characters will partake in the event, or whether you will create new characters for us to play as, like CAT?

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts
Dragonfire replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Minga approves (Unofficial) Vote Tally Dr Wen / Xeno-Mono - 7 votes Clementine / Lind - 6 votes Harriet / medium - 1 vote 10 votes needed to lynch We now have two lynch wagons. Should the eventual lynchee flip scum, it will tell us a lot about alignments. Newbies flail. Newbies are scummy by definition. Only experience will show them what's scummy and what isn't. The trick is figuring out the difference between a "Classic Scummy Newb-Town" and a newb-scum (like Clementine in Cosplay Mafia 2). Not excusing Harriet for her actions, but Minga thinks Clementine needs to calm down and stop jumping to conclusions.- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts

Minga is not sure exactly what Zipzup means by this. Surely Zipzup is aware that we have absolutely nothing to go on at the beginning of Day One, and "pressing on" is one of the most common scum-hunting tactics. Does Zipzup expect the scum to just be served up on a platter before him? Of course not. To find scum, we must "press on without much to go on". Fair enough. But Minga was also suspicious of Clementine, and felt the need to announce her suspicions. Seamus just happened to post before Minga did. Minga is glad that Ender is trying to find scum, and Minga agrees that it is a common scum-play, but Minga must assure Ender that he is... what do those Earthlings call it... barking up the wrong tree. As for deflecting suspicions, Minga assumes Ender is referring to Minga's comment about "why has Ender singled me out". In Minga's opinion, this is not deflecting suspcions, merely responding to an accusation/defending oneself. Deflecting of suspicion is IMO scummier when the person who deflects suspicion is not directly involved in the conversation/suspicion itself. As for voting, while Doctor Wen has been scummy, Minga feels that it is mostly from inexperience. Minga remembers a past Doctor who was lynched on Day One for n00bish posts which the Town took to be scummy. The main reason why Minga's vote will not be going to Doctor Wen is that from Minga's experience, Scum do not give up and announce they're leaving the game and quitting Eurobricks. In a way, Doctor Wen reminds Minga of a certain tree called Hazel, in another life entirely. Minga also feels that the "flash-wagon" against Doctor Wen is rather scummy in itself. That said, Minga would be willing to vote for Doctor Wen to get a lynch. Clementine, on the other hand, has been suspicious. Although Clementine has been described as being "too talkative to be Scum", Minga believes that Clementine has simply changed playstyles. Clementine seems to be very sure of herself, which she wasn't before as either Scum or Town. This confident attitude is also present in Clementine's posts in Heroica; therefore Minga concludes that Clementine has simply become more confident as a player/person, and it is not alignment indicative. Minga has already explained why she finds Clementine scummy, and thus she will: Vote: Clementine Lister (Lind Whisperer) Of course, this vote is subject to change should a better candidate arise. After writing the post, Minga has noticed Doctor Wen's decision to stay on Eurobricks. If he is scum, that is a blatant AtE which will cause him to lose the respect of his fellow players for good. Horrible scum tactic.- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts
Dragonfire replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Dr. Wen seems to feel the need to defend Seamus. Why? Are they scum-buddies or what? So Ender is suggesting that Minga is scum because Minga agreed with Seamus? Minga agrees that that is a common scum tactic, but Minga would like to point out that if nobody agreed with anyone else, there would never be any lynches at all! Ender seems to be suggesting that every vote on a bandwagon except the first vote is scummy because they're "hiding behind the accusation of person 1" It is interesting that Ender singles out Minga from the list of people who have agreed with others' suspicions...- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts

Minga decides to ignore the gender mix-up. Oh no, it's not like that. Minga had just pressed post when Minga realised that Minga had basically said "She's either scum or town" which is kinda stupid and not what Minga meant to say. So Minga edited it. Minga is unsure what Ender means by this. Could Ender please clarify?- 214 replies

Yeah, that smelled funny to Minga too. Almost as if Clementine is trying to pin the role of Godfather to someone else to deflect suspicion from... someone  Now it's me reading too much into Clementine's random comments. But it still pings me. Racist- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts
Dragonfire replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This sounds as if Clementine is making fun of the way Minga speaks. All of the noble Fa'Anta Cera race speak as Minga does. It's actually quite racist And now Clementine is considering that Minga, 4-of-2 and Seamus are all scum buddies trying to make the town claim to Seamus- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts
Dragonfire replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Minga concludes that Clementine is either Scum (trying to confuse the town) or a townie reading too much into 4-of-2 's comment. Additionally, Minga would like to express her disbelief that Clementine thinks that 4-of-2 was being serious. Clementine's opinion seems to be that 4-of-2 was attempting to bamboozle newbies into claiming to Seamus, but Minga finds this theory extremely unlikely. Minga has looked through the "player list" and concludes that there are only four people (Clementine included) who have never played a game with Seamus and thus have not come across the "everyone claims to Seamus Day One" thing. And half of us are veterans. Does Clementine seriously believe that 4-of-2 is attempting to confuse three people into claiming to Seamus? Minga would like to edit her first sentence, addendum: "Minga concludes that, if Clementine is town, she is reading way too much into 4-of-2's comment."- 214 replies

Blacktron Mafia: Day 1, Stellar Conflicts
Dragonfire replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Minga is quite surprised at Clementine's apparent lack of humour and ability to recognise a joke. Minga would hope that what Clementine stated is already glaringly obvious, and therefore Minga concludes that Clementine's post is unnecessary. Minga is beginning to wonder if Clementine is deliberately accusing a townie to appear "pro-town", whatever that is Minga has noticed that Clementine has never played a game with Seamus before, maybe Clementine should read any game that Seamus has played in and get some context Then Clementine would understand why 4-of-2 made that comment.- 214 replies

I went with Heckz for most humorous character, and Quintessa for most original character. Not sure about the optimized entry though. Were either of them ever a thing? Which quests did the second one take place on?
