  1. Avalanche, noticing the old man stumbling around near him, quickly takes a poster and attaches it to his back, surprised at the man's lack of comprehension that he was being used as a walking billboard. He hurries back to Lacy, "One down, six to go!"
  2. Location: E02 Jurin II This is a rebuild of my third AG build: Mission Accomplished! Mission Log: Entry ??? ~ A beautiful, tropical plain, lush vegetation covering the ground as far as the eye could see. Towering pillars of rock and colossal mountains rising above the horizon, obscuring the view of the beaches and sea that fringed one of Jurin II's largest islands. But this paradise was short-lived.... A trail of smoke in the distance. A harsh, throaty laugh as the MANTIS Ravager-class speeder zoomed into view - nicknamed 'The Turtle' due to the huge front "flippers" which propelled the craft through the air. A tall figure garbed in the signature black and green of the MANTIS corporation slowed the speeder to a stop and leapt out. He surveyed his surroundings - ideal. A cruel smile on his face, he lifted a flamethrower down from the side of the speeder and loaded it. He pulled the trigger and the tropical plains around him drowned in leaping flames... In this struggle for domination, Octan could not be allowed to profit from or research the rare plants growing in this region. MANTIS scientists had taken their fill of specimens, and now they were making sure nobody else could steal that advantage. A signature move from the most powerful corporation in the galaxy - or so they thought Without minifigure/speeder: MANTIS Dragonfire: The MANTIS 'Turtle' Ravager-class speeder:
  3. "Pleased to meet you," Avalanche takes the mayor's hand in his massive paw and shakes it heartily, "Only one question: exactly how experienced are these militiamen? Are we talking about simple villagers, or do they have some battle training?" Avalanche grins as she enquires about his warmth, "I get that a lot, but I'm fine actually. As for the shop, I'm a bit skeptical as to whether random villagers would feel comfortable buying from a giant white furry thing, but I'd be happy to help."
  4. Avalanche notes Annie's pale expression and replies, "Knowing Warlen and hearing that story, I doubt he's a cannibal per se. But if he should happen to try anything, don't worry, I'll take care of it." He didn't say this in a threatening manner, but more in a matter-of-fact way; but the darkening of his eyes belie his inner emotions.
  5. Can you please clarify: by the word "block" / "blocks", are you referring to the town block's evidence or are you referring to your own night action (ie. you blocked Foorth). It would be helpful to know because if you blocked him on the night that only Duke died, that contributes massively to the case against him. *ahem* I'm going to mindlessly sheep echo your vote because we can't ignore incriminating behind-the-scenes evidence. Vote: Foorth Dyke (Tamamono)
  6. Reread the last two days, I think I've said enough already
  7. You and Dr. Wynn, and also Lusk although he's less scummy. I agree, but it seemed like you were trying to push a lynch on him. *ahem*
  8. Which is why Avalanche can't wear any kind of footwear Oh, and welcome, Skeleton!
  9. Oh, I didn't exactly find Ewan towny, he'd done some suspicious things for sure, but I just found him to be somewhat less scummy than several others. Lots of people do suspicious things, not all of them are scum. "Easy bandwagon time! Let's lynch the person who's said nothing, because he could be scum!" As far as I'm aware, Gale has done absolutely zero to give anyone a hint as to his alignment, so it's basically a 50:50 (of course, probability-wise he's more likely to be town, but then again, so is everyone). I'm not going to vote for someone based on a 50:50 and I don't think anyone who isn't scum or dumb plans to either. If Gale would actually say something then we could actually get a read on him. Umm....no. I said this: You're making it out that I said something like "Let's look at where everyone voted and see if we can spot the scum." I agree, that does fit your definition of trying to appear helpful without actually being so. But that's not what I said. I did look at yesterday's voting and I did know that everyone voted for Ewan, which is why I said "let's look at his wagon and see if we can spot the scum on it" because there's a 100% chance that scum voted for Ewan. So you're either misinterpreting what I said, or deliberately twisting my words to get people to suspect me. I probably would have voted for him yesterday, yes. Doesn't necessarily mean I find him far scummier than others. *ahem*
  10. How? It could still help us catch the scum.... *ahem* I never said Quincy was my top suspect yesterday; in fact, he was equally as suspicious as several others, Woodcock and Wynn included. I was happy to follow Molly's lead because I trust the town block more than I trust my own scumdar And yes, I didn't find Ewan particularly scummy, I was voting because I thought there was evidence against him held by the town block.
  11. "I um... involuntarily left my home about ten years ago, and I spent a while trying to get back across half Olegaia...Then I realised that I'd need some serious help with that, and allies aren't easy to come by... so I came to Eubric to meet some people who could. I'm in no rush, but I'd like to return home someday..." Avalanche trails off.
  12. Well isn't that good for you *ahem*
  13. "Ah - it's a trophy of battle? Not my kind of thing, but there were others of my tribe who ... accumulated the remains of their opponents as trophies..." Avalanche trails off awkwardly, trying to change the subject, "So what led you to join Heroica?" Avalanche's head snaps up as he overhears this comment, "You did what? Even wild yetis aren't that barbaric!"
  14. I'm more surprised that Woodcock was loyal; I had him as scum for sure. That makes the second game that town-me has hard suspected town-Bob all game :cry_sad: Sorry, Bob *ahem* Woodcock. The fact that Ewan was town will allow us to look at his wagon and see if we can spot the scum on it. He for one advised us to lynch Quincy today as well. Oh - and Molly, I was under the impression that you had incriminating behind-the-scenes evidence against Ewan.... at least, that's why I voted for him. Has someone been lying to you?
  15. "Baltarok, actually. Remote mountain reaches, pretty cut off from the rest of the world. Is that skull... real? And why does it have a name?"
  16. Agreed, thanks PPJB Cree's is quite OP IMO.
  17. OOC: KotZ, could you please add this to my equipment instead of the Heavy Armour (see my updated post in the Hero Statistics thread): Yeti Fur Coat (SP:12; immunity to Ice, suitable for yetis only; bodywear.)
  18. Messed up the quotes Something isn't sitting well here. When I first read this post I believed you, however, having read back on Day 2 you seemed to have the opposite impression: Your posts aren't adding up at all, today you're saying you didn't find his post scummy at all, but yesterday you did. Oh la la!
  19. "Thanks," Avalanche replies. As he turns to go below-decks, he hears Calamity's voice. Avalanche grins, "A lot of people ask me that. And to tell the truth, I'm not sure why I'm not. I think it's something to do with yeti skin's heat conductivity or whatever: where we come from, it gets sweltering in the summer and so our skin is adapted to react differently to hot and cold weather." As he is saying this, his gaze can't help being drawn to the skull at the end of her staff.
  20. What did you think I meant that made you suspect me? The earlier question was asked on Day Three. You tried to nonsensically accuse me of defending Duke for no reason, then avoided the subject. I'll quote it if you want. Yes, you are. If you flip town, we'll consider lynching Quincy tomorrow (not that I don't want to lynch him today ). Unless of course some other incriminating evidence against someone else comes up.
  21. Thanks; he's meant to be fixed to the ground but able to rotate around. He can lean backwards and rotate 360 degrees.
  22. Don't be a hypocrite, good Doctor. You haven't responded to mine zince midway through Day Three
  23. Thanks, but this is the 15th "chapter" in my sigfig's story. It got rebooted here, when I returned after six months' absence
