Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory
Dragonfire replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
It's Incense, not Essence, fyi (you better change it before Flipz runs the round) Oh, and if FDY isn't back before the round is run then William attacks Mandragora B from the back row with the Croise Crossbow. Revised Battle Order: Alexander - Mandragora B, back row Warlen - throws a Phoenix Incense Siercon - Fire spell at Mandragora B, back row Erik - Mandragora B, front row Avalanche - Mandragora B, back row William - Mandragora B, back row -

IMO Warlen should use a Phoenix Incense to get everyone up; this is of course your call, Chosen Minifigure. Battle Order: Warlen Alexander Siercon Erik (if revived) Avalanche (if revived) William (if revived) If revived, Avalanche attacks Mandragora B with the Silver Cup from the back row; if not, he lies unconscious with a swollen red welt underneath his forehead fur. If revived, Erik attacks Mandragora B with the Titanic Axe from the front row. -

Battle Order: Alexander Warlen Siercon You might want to use a Phoenix Incense next round if the Mud Frog dies but the Mandragora doesn't. Then we could all help you take it down and get the XP. -

Can you promise us that if not all the slots are filled, you will avoid unbalancing the game by making the ratio of town to scum fair? -

Flipz, Mud Frog E is dead. Stumbling around blindly, Avalanche doesn't see the blow coming; the sound of it reverberates inside his head, filling his consciousness with pain, until everything fades to black. -

Avalanche, changing his mind, puts the Pumpkin Bomb away and throws a Bone dejectedly at Mandragora A. -

Avalanche grasps his precious Pumpkin Bomb and rips the fuse off. "For Heroica!" he shouts, throwing it into the mass of enemies with a battle cry. Warlen, I'd advise using your First Aid kit. Erik and yourself are almost KO'd, and I'm down on health too. William's knocked out and we're all blind. Using your First Aid kit may well turn the tide of the battle around. -

Avalanche's eyes blink open as he downs the remedy. Yelling a war cry, he swings the Silver Cup at Camouleons from the front row. At some point we might want to think about getting William up. Warlen's the only one who can do this though. -

Avalanche drinks a Remedy, growling at the cut on his left shoulder from the frog's.....bite? Do frogs have teeth? These ones do, that's for certain. -

Am I not in the battle order? Avalanche shouts, "I don't think I'll really be any use until I can see again, so I'm going to throw another Bone at Mandragora B. Siercon, I'd strongly recommend you throwing your Confusion Bomb at the enemies, because it will effectively nullify their free hits and give us a breather while we're still blind." -

"Confusion Bomb would work well in such a situation though," Avalanche adds as he throws a third Bone at Mandragora B; "unless you'd rather me throw my Pumpkin Bomb at them?" -

"Okay, we need to get our act together. Warlen, you have seven Remedies, is it possible you could use one on another hero to help them see again? And does anyone have a bomb that these enemies are weak to?" -

Avalanche throws a second Bone at Mandragora B. (Flipz, Mandragora B should not have gotten a free hit on Erik since I threw a Bone at it. Or do Bones not prevent against free hits now?) -

Avalanche yells in William's direction, "Is it possible you could throw bones to Mandragora A and Mud Frogs B? That would mean that only two of Frogs C, D and E get free hits, depending on which one Warlen targets!" -

Avalanche lets out a howl as the giant frog splashes searing hot, dripping mud all over his face, rendering him sightless. Flailing around blindly, he takes a bone from his inventory and throws it in the direction of Mandragora B, hoping to buy the group some time. Actually, if everyone who can't spellcast throws a bone at the more powerful enemies, we can avoid free hits on the spellcasters. -

Ultimately, it was because if we'd left medium alive, we'd have to claim tracker and both of us were in such a position that claiming tracker would be unbelievable considering our Day 3 performances (cause we both said we believed medium). We thought killing medium and counterclaiming you had a higher success rate. I brought up the possibility of def being the Godfather on Day 4, and then kicked myself when both you and Trumpet picked up on that TBH that looked extremely scummy to me, even though I was scum myself! I would have made the same call as Scuba if I were in his shoes and town. It looked like Dave was strongly "suspecting" his buddy while pushing a different lynch candidate and ultimately voting with Trumpet. Doctor wouldn't have made a difference in 3-day game. Dave being cop was fairly obvious from how he tried to save medium on Day Three. Medium, did you pick up on it before Dave claimed? I wouldn't have claimed if I didn't think I could beat Dave's claim. I almost "got" a town result on Scuba/a scum result on Trumpet, but then I decided it was safer to be open-minded about the "second scum" in case the one who I "got" a town result on turned against me. (btw I'm a he, not a they fyi ) So would I, but the tracker/cop combo benefited scum more, so that's what we pushed Can't believe we actually manipulated the town into ruling out doctor and blocker (strongman ) and then pushed the Cop/Tracker instead of the more beneficial cop/watcher! But if I was town, that would have been my argument too. Sorry, I didn't really know how to play my character
