  1. Location: F10 Arium Major Tags: Ground Vehicle, Exploration Mission Log: Entry 18 ~ It was three days later when we found it. We'd given up on the Search and Destroy mech when it ran out of fuel, and had resorted to using the Spiri - a multi-functional two-wheeled monstrosity which could travel both in the air and on the ground. Its wings doubled as mudguards for its huge, misshapen wheels. Among the four of us, we called it the 'Water-Boatman'. I had sent Agent Kytes back to our command ship to fetch reinforcements - we were crossing into Octan territory, and as much as we didn't want hostilities, they might not believe the true nature of our mission. We came across a remote Octan bunker deep in foothills of Arium Major; it had clearly been abandoned for quite some time. Trees sprouted from cracks in the walls and roof, and to our shock, the skeletal remains of its occupants lay sprawled by the door and gun position on the roof. And standing over the bodies was our missing mutant. He had taken a gun from the dead Octan employees, and brandished it threateningly, screaming in some obscure language. His arm had now solidified into a claw and he appeared completely unafraid of the hulking Spiri behind us. Agent Sharpe and I advanced, keeping our weapons trained on the mutant, hoping to capture it without shots being fired.... Then suddenly, without warning, the creature flipped the catch on the gun and fired. Agent Sharpe was taken completely by surprise. He never had a chance. Seeing Sharpe go down, I launched myself at the creature, but it fled into the undergrowth and disappeared from sight before I could reach it... Sans figs and vehicle: The Spiri, aka 'Water Boatman', piloted by Ekira Mitoshi (once again!) C & C welcome!
  2. Why Lusk? Why couldn't Julia be the recruit?
  3. Avalanche sees the half-elf running after him, "Oh, there you are - I was wondering where you had gotten to. You missed that - knurdlvarn yelling at me, telling me that I ought to intimidate her, and threatening to call the guards on me. At least she let me put the poster up. Anyway, I thought we'd go to the shrine next, since the girls are taking care of the animal pens. That all right with you?"
  4. Avalanche shrugs and mutters, "Couldn't care less..." as he trudges back down the cobbled street, secretly pleased at having succeeded in putting up the poster. He heads towards the Shrine of Ennoc, wondering where Warlen has got to.
  5. There are seventeen players. Four scum and a SK is more than a quarter of us... would the host really do this? Five scum is very unlikely given what happened in Blacktron Mafia, so I doubt the host will make the same mistake again. However, the rules were changed to include neutral roles, so I think a survivor may be a possibility.
  6. Ohh....yes, sorry, my bad. I messed up my tenses I was meaning to say that I was worried there could be a SK, but now I'm fairly sure there isn't.
  7. The town block strikes again! Vote: Julia Jones (CallMePie) I think it's you who's confused. I brought up the subject of a SK because I didn't want us not to consider the possibility. But while I was bringing it up, I became fairly certain that there wasn't a SK. So no, I don't think there is a SK.
  8. Avalanche starts laughing, "You want us to be intimidating? Do you know why we're here? We're here to save your town. Scaring the citizens is doing the opposite. I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just asking you a question!" He puts the poster back on the wall, this time keeping his paw on it to stop her pulling it down again.
  9. Please transfer 43 credits to EpsilonEta.
  10. I'm just worried there could be a SK, and trying to discuss the possibility of one. Yes, I'm fairly sure there isn't a SK, but we ought to be discussing all possibilities.
  11. Well then, why does my post bother you if we've caught the last Shadow? Good job by the way, pretty sure I know who it is Two of the town block are (probably) dead. I'm just saying that it's more beneficial for us to have investigative/protective roles alive than a vig who might well be a SK. So I'd rather the dead town block members have been the vig (then at least we can be sure that the vig wasn't the SK and avoid a Ragnarok 3 - esque scenario) than some other more useful roles. What I'm saying is, at this point in the game it's unlikely that the SK hasn't killed at all. So either the SK is masquerading as the vig, or there isn't a SK. If the vig is dead and confirmed town, then we may fairly confidently say that a SK is very unlikely.
  12. I for one hope that either Quincy or Gale was the vigilante, simply because if the vig is dead and town then we can just about rule out the possibility of a SK. At this point it's highly unlikely unless the "vig" is really the SK. Nobody does, Molly is doing such a good job of coordination that the block members don't know who each other is. And I thought you had some kind of ulterior motive for sacrificing yourself.... As Elijah pointed out, we have a mislynch. And since the scum killed last night, whoever Molly blocked is clear (assuming there is only one Shadow left, which is likely; the hosts won't make the same mistake as they made last game). That should give us only one possible scum left (barring anyone who has been investigated as town but has claimed vanilla). And even then, we could lynch the unconfirmed person today and know for certain that we have a godfather on our hands if there is a tomorrow.
  13. I have a couple of those caps from the Build a Minifigure at LEGO stores. Haven't got any officers yet but I hope to get the battlepack and match up the men with the hats.
  14. if you're town, a list of suspicions might be helpful....
  15. Avalanche pins the poster to the front of the bakery, "She didn't tell me to ask your permission, I was just being friendly...."
  16. Good, I was worried that quest would start before 146 finishes (like Baltarok )
  17. "Are you Mary Lancaster? The Mayor's wife is moving the location of her shop and she has sent me to put up posters around the town detailing the new location. Since your bakery is so renowned and frequented by the townsfolk, she was wondering if you would be so kind as to allow her to put a poster outside your bakery?" Remembering his failure with the old man, Avalanche tries to be as polite and flattering as possible, while inwardly rather disgruntled by her treatment of him.
  18. He was almost lynched. If I'd been online and Quincy hadn't voted No Lynch, he would have died yesterday. I think that's too risky to be a clever scum ploy.
  19. Please transfer 90 credits to EpsilonEta.
  20. Thanks, I think it's probably my best build to date, and I had a lot of fun building it! Thanks, the story will continue, you'll meet the mutant next week.
  21. Really nice build
  22. Nice one! Vote: Lusk Eccleston (fhomess) That's true, if he's town it was a pretty poor move, but it's even worse if he is scum. Aye, I can't really see a scum doing that any more than I can see a townie doing that, so it's not alignment indicative.
  23. Usually SKs are either compulsive or have a quota of kills. 4 is just less than a quarter of 17. But that's only a rough estimate.
  24. This whole recruit business....there are seven of us alive. In a game of nineteen players, I'm guessing roughly four PRs. Gale was probably one, which leaves three, counting Molly and the "vig". Assumedly, they can't be recruited. That leaves four unconfirmed players, one or more of whom is scum already. So a recruit is bad, but not terrible for town, as I'm pretty sure the block isn't blindly trusting "cleared" vanillas; aye, we're all cleverer than that! Third party-wise, I'm guessing survivor. If there was some sort of cult then we'd know by now; at least one of them would be dead. Molly, there have only been two nights with two kills (Woodcock/Dink and Mike/Delwyn). If you can attribute one of each pair of kills to the "vig" then it is almost certainly the case that we do not have a SK, or else the "vig" is the SK. As for the final scum, I'm leaning Lusk, because I'm not sure Elijah would have put himself up for the lynch as scum. He could so easily have been lynched, if not for Quincy's No Vote...
