Scooby Doo Mafia: All Fired Up - Conclusion
Dragonfire replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
We were almost certain Dave was the cop though, so ultimately that's why we killed you. Otherwise def would have claimed tracker and Dave would have had inno's on both of you....imagine how that would have worked out!? But then again, if we didn't kill you, we would have killed Dave so none of that would have happened. Thanks for the deadboard link! Glad that I convinced some people with my claim! -

Great game, thanks for hosting DD! I'm glad we won, but a lot of it was just luck though We knew you were the cop from that. Not sure about how you could have done better though Only if you post the link to the deadboard http://123.writeboard.com/8fwa2alkiksyta4echej8cup/ Password: sillyscum -

Why Lynn over Theo? Worst justified vote of the year. How are you "unsatisfied" with my thoughts? Why is the "twisting of words" suddenly now my central argument? Cause it's not. Weak, poorly justified vote and you vote with Patti - ergo, you are the last scum. Now it's down to Theo's vote who dies. -

This doesn't make sense. How would I look scummy to myself? How would you look scummy to yourself?? Let's not get into this again. I'm pretty sure you're town, and I don't want to waste time arguing with you when we could be catching scum. But as I said, I "listened to Carla", went back over Patti's posts and ended up townreading her, and therefore saw no reason to make a case on her. That's all redundant now though. No, it's not a freakin' "or" situation. It's an "or" situation between you and me for the lynch. Stop denying that you are one of the lynch candidates for today. Let's face it, nobody's gonna lynch Lynn when there's two cop claims. I mixed stuff up.I didn't slip, but I messed up by including two different meanings of townie in the same sentence, sorry if it's really confusing. I probably should have said "If you were a townie you should have realised that completely writing off another town-member/townsperson as town....." and so on. The problem is, what noun do you use to describe a player? "Townie" and "Town member/townsperson" mean two different things, and I mixed them up there. Sorry We're all townspeople, but some of us have the alignment of town, except you and one other. That's what I mean. Confirmed what? Confirmed town? This doesn't make sense.... if you were town you would know 100% that I am scum and therefore I would be confirmed scum from your PoV - and so more "confirmed-y" than everyone else. But you're not. So you're saying that I'm not confirmed scum from your PoV? Again, you call me the "most suspicious person" when to you I should be confirmed scum. You're betraying yourself here because you're letting slip that you know I'm town. The WIFOM at the end doesn't help either: everyone knows it's lynch-or-lose and one of us is lying. -

Here are quite a few posts from Day Three that explain why Matthew was third on my suspicions list (below Desiree and Trenton) I said this: And then he twisted my words and said this: Besides, there was this: And then I summed it up: So that, in a nutshell, is why I viewed Matthew as the scummiest living player last night. -

Not a slip. By "townie" I was referring to a member of the town (which we all are) in that instance, not someone whose role is town. Theo's definitely not clear and Matthew isn't 100% clear. When I have more time, I'll quote some stuff from the last two days. It wasn't really anything much, just that I had a slight scumread on him and a null or town-read on everyone else. -

I've already answered the question about Alec, so please read above, but just for tl;dr purposes, I suspected him based off the assumption that Carla was scum and that Alec was soft-defending her on Day Two. I investigated you based on yesterday; as Desiree had made her claim and we had lynched Trenton (who I thought was scum number one), I decided to investigate the number three person on my list of suspicions, aka you. Read Day Two and Three; it's quite obvious that I at least somewhat suspected you. I had null-reads on the other three, so went for the scummiest person IMO with my action. Incredibly gutsy move; you were probably gambling that the cop was dead, and if they were alive, you being the first to claim added credibility to your claim too. So I have to commend you on this, you're playing much better than you were last game as scum. I chose to check Alec over Desiree on Night Two because he's a more experienced player and harder to read in general. Desiree I felt was so obvious scum she didn't need checking I also felt that if Alec flipped town, he'd be a better person to have as a clear in 5-way or 3-way than Desiree and would be more likely to make the right decisions (Desiree, sorry if I'm offending you if you're still out there somewhere ) Once again, your complete refusal to even consider Theo a suspect is astounding. Guys, you have to realise that if Patti was town she would not be playing this badly. Any townie wouldn't write another townie off as 'clear' just because they haven't been seen killing when there are most likely two scum and only one scum killer..... Stating WIFOM fluff like this doesn't help your case. I think we all know that if we lynch town today we lose, and it's your word against mine... Don't get me wrong; although it's safest to lynch Patti (confirmed scum from my point of view), we could also vote in you/Lynn if that's where everyone else wants to go. I personally don't really suspect either of you over the other atm; Patti's posts condemn both of you in different ways - however, that could be a deliberate tactic to muddy the waters should she be lynched today. I always use bold blue text when I'm a role and I claim it. Read Day Three (I think?) of Blacktron Mafia. So to me, that's a moot point. I like to claim very formally and put all the facts on the table; it's just how I play. If you think that's scummy, then you're disagreeing with my playstyle, not my position in this game. -

It's not me or her, it's me or you here..... unless you'd rather lynch her or Theo. Your insistence that it's "me or Lynn" and not Theo at all is disturbing - almost as if you're trying to shield him from all suspicion. So.... why did you want to lynch me just before I claimed? Can't help it, can I? I already explained why I checked Alec, and Matthew was my top suspect out of the surviving players, so I checked him last night. And the fact that I claimed second was due to time zones... Oh, and Vote: Patti Best (Piratedave84) -

You can say what you like, but ultimately it comes down to who people believe most: you or me. Unless we lynch in the vanillas. So you think everyone will just believe you 100%, point blank? I hope people aren't that stupid. "We"? There are five of us alive. Me and you, and three others. Currently Matthew suspects me, but hasn't been online since my claim; Lynn could go either way, and Theodore isn't rushing to lynch anyone right now. An overt overestimation. Besides, this is pretty interesting. How do you know Lynn will never vote for me? Is it because you know she's scum with you and she will always vote with you to achieve a win for scum? Or is this whole "suspect Lynn" thing a ruse to draw suspicion away from Theodore, and you "know you have the majority" because you're counting Lynn's vote alongside you and your buddy Theo's? Not even gonna begin to unravel this one; now you're just making random assumptions and basically screaming "DERRICK IS SOOOOO SCUMMY IT'S JUST SO FUNNY HE'S SCUMMING IT UP!!!!!!!!!1!!!!11!!!!!!" Oh and besides, a little bit of WIFOM Patti, supposing I was indeed mafia and fake-claiming, don't you think I'd try and lace all my words with WIFOM? Your eagerness to... believe?... stuff that a supposed scum says is quite disturbing and betrays your true alignment. -

1) You don't, unless you are scum with Patti. From my point of view, she is confirmed scum. From your point of view if you're town, it's a 50/50 2) How is my second claim desperation? Surely if I was scum, I could have held my own against two other people in a lynch-or-lose? And besides, I live in the UK so I wasn't online for the start of the day and Patti's claim. 3) I was acting under the assumption that Carla was scum. Alec was reluctant to vote for Carla and seemed to be soft-defending her. I wanted to find out if he was scum or not, because I figured that if Carla was scum, Alec might get some heat on Day Three and if he was town, I could possibly save a townie from a lynch. -

Anyway, it's lynch or lose now. As Matthew is just about cleared (unless of course he is the godfather; unlikely though since it's a small game and there's quite probably a mafia strongman too), the other four of us are counterclaiming roles: two cops and two vanilla townies. Unless the second scum decides to come out and claim neutral Or tracker, that would be funnier The question is, should we lynch in cops or lynch in vanillas today? -

I was hoping someone was going to claim cop. Lynch or lose, and you can't afford to, can you? I am the town cop. On Night Two, I investigated Alec and got a Town result. And then he died. On Night Three, I investigated Matthew since I suspected him and found him to be Town as well. So I knew both scum were in the three remaining players. And now one of them has been kind enough to reveal herself. Good job You just made finding the scum a whole lot easier. Maybe you should make sure the cop is properly dead before you start leading the town, eh? -
I make it seven, because I was online when everyone else was posting their targets. Still, it's quite inexcusable. Sorry

We'll know Desiree is fake if she survives to see tomorrow morning anyway - no chance the scum won't kill her if she's legit. But yeah, I say we lynch her if there is a counterclaim (as unlikely as that may be). Unfortunately, I think she's legit. -

:wall: Unvote: Desiree Walters (mediumsnowman) At least we have a bit of a chance lynching someone else, and besides, by outing you've forced the scum to kill you tonight and leave others alive; too bad you couldn't catch the scum first The result on Theodore tells us nothing as he could be scum, but just didn't submit the kill last night. Twelve hours to switch the lynch. Trenton's my second suspect so that's where my vote's going today. Vote: Trenton Collins (JackJonespaw) -
Question to Flipz (and the other FMs): Please may I be allowed back into the Fields? I missed a couple of days and somehow got kicked from the team for inactivity. I'm back and still want to participate.

Desiree played her best cards at the beginning of today. Now that she thinks she's done for, she's probably just given up trying. And her scumbuddies can't help her out on the scumboard cause our host clarified that the scum can only talk at night. Personally, no, I'm not afraid of being killed by scum. There, I said it and invited death But seriously, although I'd be angry with the scum for cutting my game short, I wouldn't be afraid of being killed. I think that's what separates scum and town: townies aren't afraid of dying as long as town wins in the end; they have the capacity to take one for the team. Scum, on the other hand, are afraid of dying because it could scupper their slim chances at a win. I think you've taken your innate fear of the town lynching you and put it into a fear of being killed by scum because....I dunno, you're afraid of dying? Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it's more of a stream-of-consciousness than a structured reply That's just WIFOM. Moot point. One thing: I don't suspect you because of you trying to get the cop to out if they found scum; I personally don't see any problem with that. Patti does for some reason though. -

I'm also suspicious of Trenton, but Desiree is higher up my scum-list. Still, as a fairly experienced player you ought to know that scum teams always keep the kill. That still doesn't explain the infinite weirdness of your statement. You personally were afraid of being killed by the scum at night, and you thought they'd kill you... as revenge for Desiree or something? I really don't understand you here. This, and your odd comments about me being defensive yesterday (which you still haven't replied to) are what's pinging me most about you. -
