  1. Yes, it could, of course Nice bit of subtle defense here. You can call it that if you want, but just ask Anthony, he'll say the same. All you're doing is just going "I don't like this" "he's scum" etc etc, without analysing, asking questions, whatever. I can't respond to "he's probably scum". If you want to find scum, start questioning people! Or say why you think it "smells bad".... I think your vote was poorly justified because you outright said it was to draw out conversation. Supposing he is scum, if he knows the vote is merely to draw out conversation then he won't react. If he thinks you actually want to lynch him, you might get a reaction. Therefore the vote was weak and poorly justified. "I'm gonna call the people voting me town so they will be flattered and unvote me". Even Humphrey sees through this desperate attempt to shake off suspicion. Instantly after being called out, you jump on Quincy What has he said between this post and your last to drive you to vote for him? So she's on your radar.... but you don't think she's scum. Wishy-washy much? Nice justification - but I still don't find Quincy particularly scummy. However, I find you more towny than before. Have you not considered that two votes might generate more conversation from him than one? Sometimes applying pressure works to make people talk. Guess who Molly suspects? The person with the most votes, and the people whom her accusers also suspect... the originality is strong with this one. Agreed. I'd be up for voting Molly or Perce if that's where town wants to go. I personally don't think Delwyn is scum, but I'm prepared to vote her if it's between that and a no-lynch. As for Gale, he really hasn't been here, and I wouldn't feel comfortable lynching someone who's basically said nothing - no reads can be gotten from them.
  2. Just have a little bit of context here, apparently (according to Anthony himself) Molly tends to go after/suspect Anthony in every game they play together. So Humphrey and I would say that Molly has an issue with Anthony's playstyle. Nevertheless, her vote was indeed poorly justified and it looked like she was trying to jump on the nearest bandwagon. So we have under 12 hours to reach a consensus. Delwyn, Perce, Mike and Molly are the leading wagons right now; we should collectively decide on one or two people to focus on today. Edit: *By "one or two people" I don't necessarily mean the four leading wagons
  3. Quincy's a null read of mine. He hasn't really scumtold or towntold at all. To be honest, I feel slightly uneasy at your apparent indifference as to who our lynch will be. Almost as if you're happy to get a lynch on any townie at all, whoever it is. If you feel so strongly, why not make a case against him? Compile his posts and point out the scummy stuff. Just saying you think he's scum isn't a good enough reason for anyone to vote him. I'm sure Humphrey would back me up if he were here (wherefore art thou, Humphrey? ) Surely most Day Ones begin with the vote being spread out, and then later concentrated onto one or two candidates? To be honest, this post is just fluff. If that's what you think, then so be it. I have a legitimate reason for voting Mike, he hasn't given me any reason to unvote, and so my vote stands. And I agree about Mike's behaviour. So it was a joke vote...... That's a good point, Perce is definitely on my scumdar and I'd be prepared to vote him to get a lynch if needs be.
  4. Gale has been reading the topic, Humphrey spotted that before I did but the others haven't, as far as I know. You posted at 10:10pm my time. I posted at 09.59pm my time. Did you take eleven minutes to write that post? Has Ewan been online since then? If so, then he's definitely lying low.
  5. If you're going to vote me for not contributing, then you haven't read the whole game. Reread all my posts first, mate. Frankly, it's an unfair accusation. Yes, but as I (and Humphrey) said, calling them out doesn't automatically bring them online.
  6. I believe both of them have voted/posted on Page Two. To be honest, Humphrey and I find Messed up my post, sorry I believe both have voted/posted on page two. To be honest, Humphrey and I find your calling-out of some of our quieter neighbours quite scummy. You're speaking without saying anything of substance and attempting to divert the focus to less active people (less active doesn't necessarily mean scum). Why not analyse the posts we have instead of shouting at the people who aren't online? Let's be honest, your asking them to speak isn't going to make them get online faster. Bold/red added for emphasis. That's a very quick turnaround. Why the sudden 180?
  7. You seemed almost 100% sure he was scum. Voting to get people to talk and move the day along doesn't look like how you voted..... My bad; however, your non-committal attitude is still scummy, and you still did a U-turn (from not wanting to vote, to voting Delwyn). So my vote stands. Humphrey disapproves.
  8. Agreed. Although I can see the benefits of it. Looks like I'll be getting a good gift this Grogmas: either this, or the Winterbound Blade
  9. Can you elaborate please, are you legitimately convinced he is scum or is this just a "reaction test" vote? Humphrey is curious... I really don't like this post, you're being both non-committal and unhelpful to town. As Elijah said, unvotes are allowed. Voting for someone now gives reactions and can help catch scum, and you're not helping with this. It's interesting that as soon as Elijah calls you out, you immediately do a U-turn and vote at once. Just going to point out that Delwyn was only second on the wagon.... Vote: Mike Johnson (mediumsnowman) Big ping. You're entitled to your own opinion, but I (and Humphrey) can reassure you that it was merely roleplay referring to Foorth's robot-ness (is that a word?). Exactly.
  10. Humphrey apologises profusely. He will not make racist remarks again. (Shut up, Humphrey, of course you won't )
  11. Excuse me, sir, Humphrey would like to know if that was one of your gears malfunctioning, or whether you actually said it
  12. Maybe this is because you don't want to be revealed as one of the sleeping agents - or whatever they were... (Calm down Humphrey, it was a joke, no need to get agitated!)
  13. I'll be getting the Satyr, Knight, Robot, Astronaut, Winged Warrior and Jewel Thief - all great designs
  14. Honestly, I think this is rather offensive Avalanche would not be impressed
  15. To Heckz: Magical Hairbrush (permanently adds 2 SP to any headwear item) To Warlen: Peaked Cap (makes the wearer Nimble and Hastened, SP: 1) To Eric: Cupid's Tears (can be applied to a weapon like Venom; but deals the enamored- effect) To Kheyli: Storm Essence (consumable, used in a battle, makes all the user's attacks lightning- elemental for the duration of the battle).
  16. "Wait - wasn't Quarion the name of that odd demon thing you had when you first joined Heroica? It's a person too?"
  17. Yeah, I think you did
  18. Ray Christiansen in Second Crash Mafia!

  19. "Aye, I haven't tasted such ale for months. Dwarven make, probably." Avalanche frowns at Warlen's grim expression, "I've got a while, please, begin." While he's saying this, a mysteriously levitating quill hovers over to the quest-board and signs the unsuspecting yeti's name up for Quest #146.
  20. Oh Humphrey, just look at the state of this hall! Why, I'm sure I've seen cleaner landfill sites! And is that a skeleton I see over there- (Humphrey, would it be a crime to steal borrow its skull for a leetle performance of Hamlet)? Yes? No? Humphrey, answer me!" Yeah, I saw that one too. But it could be a reference to Doctor Wen from Blacktron....
  21. Avalanche notices Warlen slumped in a corner, with a scarred face and a morose expression on his features. He makes his way over to the half-elf, "Greetings. You look....changed, what happened?"
  22. Avalanche strides confidently into the hall, invigorated by his experiences in the Fields and the pleasure at attaining an advanced job class. He quickly signs up for Quest #145 before looking around for any friendly faces he knew from previous quests.
  23. Avalanche ducks under the crooked wooden door to the Training Room, barely squeezing his huge frame through the doorway. It is clear that he is no longer the naive young yeti who came to Eubric a year and a half ago. He has made both friends and enemies, fought many battles, made some hard decisions and experienced both success and failure. But what has changed him most is his year-long hiatus from Heroica - it has taught him valuable lessons about cowardice, courage and what it truly means to be a hero. And now he is ready to take the next step in his journey. "Hello? Anyone there? I'm Avalanche...." A few days later, Avalanche emerges from the Training Room with a lopsided smile on his furry face, a renewed vigour in his step and a fierce determination about his person that he has never exhibited before: a steely resolve to not fail, not falter and continue on his path to heroism. Introducing.... Avalanche, the Super Sleuth (Dragonfire) 30 years old male yeti Raider *Natural Respite* *Immune to Fragile* *Counterstriking* Level 16 Power: 25 (16+9) Health: 31/31 (16+14+1*)
  24. Avalanche strolls into the marketplace and sells his Henry Award, gaining 200 gold. He then buys two Phoenix Essences (100 gold) and upgrades Frostbite to WP:9 (90 gold) leaving him with 15 gold.
  25. Avalanche lets out an audible sigh of relief as the Mandragora finally falls to the ground, defeated. He heads to the Farm Shop and purchases a Decamodifier and two Phoenix Incenses. Before turning to leave, he hands Warlen the Lethauros Ring and Erik the Silver Cup of Victory, thanking them for their generosity and help. "It's been a pleasure questing with you, friends."
