  1. Love the bay window and the minifigure posing of the farmer throwing his pitchfork behind him as he runs. You have a very unique building style and I'm looking forward to seeing more. You're like the Tim Burton of Mitgardia.
  2. Wow, you guys in Kaliphlin certainly have my sympathy. Lots of woe to go around, sorry to hear that. Are you in charge of all the maps or only Kaliphlins?
  3. Did my name change without me knowing it?
  4. Yeah, 80 pages of "We want Gondor " says it pretty loud
  5. Thanks for all the feedback guys! @BEAVeR: The track was tricky, I tried to make it look run down while still making it a clean build. Thank you for the suggestions though. @MstrOfPppts: You have a good point about the angles. I hadn't noticed that all three of those things were parallel. I have a build with pretty straight lines in mind for my next free build so I can't say I'll have much variety next time. But whenever I do have angles I'll try to have more variety. As for bigger pictures, you can see bigger ones on my Flickr Page. @Artizan: Yes, I've noticed that. It wasn't intentional and I already have plans to change it for the next build. It's about time for my character to have a change of wardrobe anyway.
  6. Let me know how to whom to send my sig-fig info and I will.
  7. OoC: See the rest of the story: First They Came For the Qwohogs A Brother's Work Is Never Done A Night At Hao's The Breakout Commandeered Escape A Rebel Leaving Corellia "In The Shadows To The Left" Imperial Troops Have Entered the Base! Sand Crab Attack! "Rough Edges" There's No Place Like Hoth For the Holidays After proving myself on Hoth, the Alliance decided to send me on a more important role. They put me and Yeoman on the intelligence staff. Now, some people think of intelligence operatives as those who sit in comfy offices and sift through data all day, but not in the Alliance. We were given a mission to gather intel on Ord Mantell. The Alliance had heard that there were some old Imperial Star Destroyer components dumped in one of various junkyards strewn across the planet. They were dumped illegally by a subsidiary company that helped maintain the Imperial fleet. The company didn’t want to pay the fees to dispose of the parts legally which explained why they ended up in the junkyard. After landing the Rough Edges we made our way through miles of junkyards tracing leads. We finally ended up along an unused train-way that had fallen into great disrepair. “We haven’t found anything useful Yeoman, are we sure Intelligence wasn’t just trying to get a couple of new recruits out of their hair?” MKJoshA asked. “The Alliance is not like the Empire,” answered Yeoman. “They utilize every person they have at their disposal. No one is going to be sent on a wild goose chase just because. And you have to remember, I’ve been with the Alliance for a lot longer. I know some of the people in Intel. They sent us here because they had a valid lead. Now quiet your complaining and keep looking for Imperial markings!” We were about to continue down the track when a bounty hunter confronted us. “This is my territory. No one passes through here without my authority!” He said. “How about a sniper shot at point blank range?” Yeoman asked as he squeezed his trigger. We dumped the body with the rest of the junk and continued on our search. “I thought intel work would be boring, but“ thought MKJoshA, “the bounty hunter we ran into on Ord Mantell made me changed my mind.”
  8. Oh No! You used the word "afford"! Do you realize what you've unleashed! Alcarin, he didn't mean it!
  9. I'm really like these ideas of a Gondor courtyard with the white tree or the lighting of the beacon. They may fizzle like the Council of Elrond has, but they would be great for us AFOLs! That didn't stop them in the Weathertop set. Flick-fire tree roots my beard!
  10. I didn't check your flickr page before. Just went and saw the other pictures. They look good!
  11. I think with the continuation of the Chima line we will begin to see more and more variety. Case-in-point are the Raven sig-figs that have had some great builds in Nocturnus.
  12. This is only stage 2! As I was looking at it I was thinking "This is a great stage 3 entry." How you're going to top this is beyond me!
  13. Wow, so much detail, love it! As a couple others have mentioned, I love the filling that is exposed in the wall. That takes a lot of extra work but shows great attention to detail.
  14. This is a gorgeous build! Which technique did you use for the tile-brick work on the walls? I love everything about this build!
  15. Yes, Gideon's suggestions are good. Your build is fantastic and I really admire your skill with just a simple flashlight. However, it does turn the snow on your mountains a shade of yellow instead of white. Not much you can do about that with just a flashlight. But, that's just a minor thing. You've really done a great job.
  16. I love the details on the orange house. The way the stone work works its way up towards the point of the roof is spectacular!
  17. Why do the mad monks have yellow hands? Is it because they have yellow gloves?
  18. I'd love to see more pictures myself. This is a fantastic little build and a great first go at angled building.
  19. That's good. I like that. And I've always been a fan of your Puss no Boots character.
  20. If you list this on ebay would you let me know?
  21. Love the use of Boba's cape!
  22. Please, everyone, read what has been said before you. All these arguments that keep coming back are getting tiring.
  23. I actually got most of my inspiration from the various churches around downtown Chicago.
  24. We haven't even seen leaked pictures of that series yet, but the Simpson House already has a release date. Therefore, you could argue that Lego used brand new head molds in a D2C set before releasing it in any other set.
  25. I was actually more drawn to the pirate ship as a Tolkien fan. I don't think I would have even given it a 2nd look if I weren't a Tolkien fan. As for D2Cs and new molds, the new Simpsons set shows that Lego is willing to use new molds for D2C.
