    Long ago in Treacleheim the Dwarves of Mitgardia used Ice Moles to dig their larger passageways for them. They were raised from birth by trainers and could be commanded with clicks and hoots. They are a rare sight in Mitgardia now. But some Dwarves still raise them and use them on the north side of the Mitgardian mountain range. More pictures on my flickr!

    Previously Edited: (Obviously the narator's memory of how the tree looked was a little fuzzy and he has since been reminded of what it really looked like) The guard in the tree recognized the face of his fellow Blue Wolf and let him pass without asking any questions. If Feanor was in this much of a hurry then there must be something very important that he needed to tell their leader.

    I wanted/needed direction in my Lego building and when I saw that this was starting it seemed the perfect opportunity. Little did I know that I would be sucked into the world of AFOLs and end up spending twice as much on Legos a month than I had before as well as dedicating hours of my life to this amazing hobby! I joined SoNE first, but it lead me to join GoH and both have been wonderful to be a part of. I look forward to what the next year may bring.

    As others have said, I love that bridge! The rest of the build is naturally amazing, but it's the bridge that stands out to me! Great job!

    Ah, I love your optimism! It's true. Had they made either or both of these sets over Council, I can see us all lamenting not getting Council, but we certainly wouldn't be as upset as we are about not getting Gondor or Fell Beast. That is the sadest Tolkien story ever. Ever. I've been reading the History of Middle Earth (all 12 volumes) and have basically read that story a dozen times in the past year. So sad! And also not likely to ever be made into a movie. Look up the book "Unfinished Tales" by Christopher Tolkien. It has everything Tolkien started regarding the 2nd age. And there is actually quite a bit. I wish they would turn it into a tv series like Game of Thrones, but I know it will never happen. And because that will never happen neither will the Lego sets sadly.

    Great build! I like how big the landing platform is. It's just the right size for your ship, but sometimes that's hard to do in Lego I like your rock-work and your un-loading vehicles. The white-on-white has already been mentioned but everything else is amazing!

    Well, I for one really like those hoses. As I was looking at it those were the first things I wanted to compliment. Then I saw the rest of the comments and I knew I really needed to compliment them. I think they give a great stripping effect that you can't achieve with bricks. Your base it also great as is the rest of your ship. Welcome to the Rebel Alliance!

    Good job building those legs, they look just right for a deer. And great job on that base! Though, your ambitions seem a little lofty. Conquering the entire world? Talk like that will get stabbed by a drow!

    Ahh Man! All these goats are making me jealous! I've wanted one for awhile but missed out on the set they were in and now they cost too much on Bricklink and Ebay!
