    I have tried doing some research and really havent found the direct answer I need. Is this cable designed to use the NXT Brick to power a motor. Or is it desgined to use the battery pack to power a NXT Motor. I have tested and I can do both with this cable. But I have read somewhere that it will burn up my NXT Motor. I need some help please.     so these instructions replace the instructions that come from lego in the original 42009 set? im about to purchase the 42009 and i think all these extra parts are in my spare bins.

    i got lucky and bought my 8043 1 month ago for $220 on ebay. it even had the orginal box and instructions!! i would buy another one again over the 42009 any day of the week.

    I need some help! I am trying to number the speeds on my transmission and I have numbers 1, 2, and 4. here is a link. does anyone know of something similiar or any single numbers? i need to go from 1 - 9 and possible 10 but i dont see 10 fitting onto a 1x1 tile. http://www.peeron.co.../parts/3070bp04

    if im understanding your problem correctly. the whole reason they came out with a v2 is to fix the power issue that happened in the v1.

    Here it is! i think i mixed something up. I feel like the gears are out of order and i cant figure out whY!? EDIT: i fixed my issue, had the wrong set of gears split up.
