Deep in the Enchanted Forest of Avalonia, there lays a skeleton of a long-forgotten creature. Tigers used to roam Avalonia in old times, but they were hunted to extinction for their fur pelts. A few skeletons remain, but most have lost to the ground from whence they came. Now, it is only the elves that can find such a relic and that is why I have searched the woods for this skeleton. The fang can be ground up to a powder which, when dissolved in water, will have magical powers needed to make the Kiss of Life potion. The stump was one of my favorite aspects of this build. My girlfriend likes the fact that build. She isn't into legos herself, but she loves the intricacies of my mocs. Although, she does sometimes criticize the lack of interiors, enough though I have explained the space needed for the bricks of exteriors.

Excellent build! I love the 2x2 slopes used to angle the corners of the lower tower. I also like that you added an angled window in the rock on the left side. Its cool how you made interiors and made the entire moc open up like that.

You can just make the map when you have time to do so. But thanks for lending your skills, even if you are exiled from Avalonia.

Looks like we both have new neighbors. I'm quite fine with having an outlaw as a neighbor, as long as you don't trespass on my land! If you do, you might find soldiers of the Woodland Guard that watch over the great expanses of forest in Vanhorn.(my land name) I'm working on building a little sample of the soldiers of the Woodland Guard, but at the moment, I'm waiting on shield parts from brick link.

Its fine with me and I think the map needs to be updated to include your land and my land, if someone would be willing to do so. @Apple Pi, If you would like to claim land in Avalonia, by all means, do it. Most of the land in the Enchanted Forest is unclaimed. Here is my land claim.

My ingredient will be the fang of a tiger. I'm still thinking up the history for tigers in Historica, but I have the build planned out.

I give you the Herald of Vanhorn. I have also included a picture for the finished product of the Herald. I was hoping someone else could create the finished product as it looks to be beyond my talent to produce. The governing body of Vanhorn is the Council of Vanguard, which I am one of the seven members of.

I'm not sure if ill turn it into real plastic because my major build of Vanguard is using up all of my foliage bricks. This means that I would have to take the bricks from Vanguard or buy them from bricklink, which can be a bit pricy for the amount I need. Thanks. Maybe you Mitgardians liked the plant colors in the Enchanted Woods of Avalonia and sought fit to use them as your own colors! Thanks, the roof was rather challenging to get the pieces to fit. It ended up being a 3x6 angled plate with two 2x3 angled plates and a 1x3 plate on top.Thank you to everyone else who replied!

Here is my latest freebuild. It started out with me tinkering around with Ecclesiastes woodworking technique. Once the hut was built, I wanted to put it in a tree and make a scene around it. I also included elves in this freebuild which gives me the title of High King of the Elves. This is one of the many roads through the Enchanted Woods in Vanhorn (my country in Avalonia). It is patrolled by the Woodland Guard of Vanhorn who use doves to send messages back and forth. The travelers are an Elf Princess and her wagon driver. C&C are welcome!

I have a woodland freebuild thats almost done. It should be up soon though.

Thanks guys. I hear what you're saying with the isolated atmosphere and i'll do that with individual MOCs in the future. This one was just impossible to move.

Its quite interesting how this is all playing out. I'll be behind whoever becomes leader of Avalonia, as long as they're not taking over the guild. @ Ska, Nice articulation in that comment.

This is the second phase of Vanguard and it is the last part I have built, the other 2 phases are still in design. The Bridge spanning Phases 1 and 2. Needs just a bit of touch up. With this part, I claim 'High Chief of Agriculture.' The waterfall, which still needs rock pieces around it An original bridge design. And a Hobbit Hole with bridge needed to finish out Phase 2. C & C are welcome, as always, and I have more pictures up on my Flickr. Phase 3 is almost done and I'm in the brainstorming part of Phase 4.

This is the first phase of my mega build of the medieval city known as Vanguard. I am one of the seven members of the council governing this city. I started Vanguard with this and my building skills have improved. Th books and drawers take up cliff sides and there's more pictures on my Flickr Comments are welcome.

Ohh yeah! All groups must be represented in the central government or else things start to fall apart. As seen with your reference to the American Revolution. But, this forum mainly revolves around legos and what we do with them, so we need not debate over a 'perfect' type of government.

Oh great, this is looking like the beginning of the Hunger Games. Although we would need to develop our weapons a bit to blow his district off the map. I agree with Derfel Cadarn here, its only natural that many want to take power after a ruler steps down. I just hope we don't follow the same path of Genghis Khan's sons where we become warring states within a once united kingdom .

I agree, I'm still working on getting good photos of the previous sections. Each section becomes better as far as building technique and its been a lot of fun. They should be up by the end of next weekend, but no promises.

The changes look fine, I know the some parts can be hard to come by. Thankfully, my duties for overseeing the building of Vanguard are limited and the other six Councilmen will be fine with me leaving to help bring a dead man back to life. On a side note, I forgot to mention my last name which is Lanthorn. I await my ingredient assignment.
