  1. The story looks good! I also like how you made the snow and it works quite well. I think you could do a bit more with the interior, but you did well with the limited amount of bricks you have.
  2. Great job! I also like the rock work and I agree with Gideon about the color contrast in the water. The figs look amazing!
  3. Okay, thanks guys. I'll still do the build and just keep it as a freebuild. I'm looking forward to the new challenges!
  4. Sorry for the confusion, but are you saying that we can't achieve titles anymore OR just that we start over with a clean slate and can earn the old titles with a new build? Again, sorry. Thanks
  5. Glad to see you're joining Avalonia, Rolli! On a side note, does anyone know if we can keep the titles from Book I or if they reset to a clean slate for Book II? Just wanted to clear it up as I am planning a build for Lord High Executioner. Thanks.
  6. I remember you from Book I and I'm glad to see that you're thinking about joining up again. It is kinda sad that we lost are founding builders to Nocturus. But, we have a siege of new builders and old ones who have laid dormant for some time. It will be nice to have another long time GoH builder on our side!
  7. Ravens, interesting. Sounds like a great tribe for Nocturus. I have already seen Z's raven post in the nocty forum and I can't wait to see what others are doing with it!
  8. Like the trees and nice bio as well. Honestly, I would have been happier if you join Avalonia, but it was your choice to make and I think you will fit in well with the Nocty group.
  9. I really like the technique used for the roofing, but I must say that the wall color scheme looks a little to halloweenish. Just a minor note and its a very well done build!
  10. Love the palm trees, Masa! Its also a great story line and fits in well.
  11. Thanks, kermit. I was quite glad with how this batch of figs turned out. @Infernum, I know! Its nice to have a great 3rd party producer to turn to if you find yourself without the right lego brand part.
  12. Welcome to GoH and you have made a wise choice with Avalonia! As kabel suggested, I will be the one to tell you that the guild colors are sand green and dark green. Just as long as you have one of them in your flag/crest, its all good. I'm looking forward to working along side you!
  13. Great job, Buurli! I particularly like the texturing of the walls. @rogueang, thanks for the update on tasks for Avalonians. I can't wait to get started!
  14. Yes, its the Jousting Helmet from Brickwarriors. Several other pieces from this build were also from them. Thanks for the comment and I agree with you about what side they're on!
  15. Thank you all for the complements on both the picture quality and the figs. @Gideon, CN, and LV, I hear what you all are saying about 3rd party parts and I was with you on 'purity' until this build. The problem I had was that lego couldn't provide a gold helmet that worked well with these guys. I checked out several 3rd party vendors and settled with BrickWarriors. Thanks again for the comments and I do plan to use these figs in the future MOCs.
  16. For my first freebuild of Book II, I have created a vignette showing what the soldiers The Woodland Guard look like. Deep in the forests of Vanhorn, there is a militia of men that keeps the peace of the forest. They are known as The Woodland Guard. This militia is commanded by General Jeffery Alder. On horseback is Felix Jang, Captain of the 37th Squadron and the others are soldiers of that squadron. Their names(from left) are Epsilon Kelas, Cal Woodlawn, and Juno Elms. There is one more soldier of the 37th Squadron that ins't shown and that is Jesse Asp. The Woodland Guard is an elite division of the collective armies of Vanhorn. The soldiers who are accepted into this branch are trained by the Elves in the best tracking methods, archery methods, and survival techniques. They are held to the highest standard and are respected by many. I showed a bit of the type of battlements the Guard has constructed throughout the forest in my last MOC, Traveling the Woods. Any Outlaws that are found are to be apprehended and taken to the nearest town to serve jail time. These soldiers will be on high alert when the Civil Wars comes to the Enchanted Forest of Avalonia.
  17. It is quite like LCC and we all would be welcome to have you! You can find information on all four guilds on the first post in the pinned guild topic. I am a member of Avalonia and I can tell you that we are losing some of our main members to Nocturnus. But, feel free to join any guild you wish!
  18. Oh, I forgot to add the picture of my county borders. Outlined in yellow is the county of Vanhorn.
  19. I, Lord Eremir Lanthorn will join the mighty cause again. I preside on the Council of Vanguard which is the governing body of my county, Vanhorn. My titles during Book I High King of the Elves Lord High Chief of Agriculture @LD, I would help, but I don't know how to make the map. Thanks anyway for the effort.
  20. I know I do! I can't wait to see how the story in Nocty turns out.
  21. Thanks for the complements and I'll play around with the lighting suggestions in the future.
  22. Great work with the water and the ruined look. The one thing that bothers me is the slope of the hill coming away from the water. The landscape is too linear, I think it would look better with some more plates in there to make it look less blocky. It also nice hear your inspiration for this build.
  23. Well done! Good choice with the olive green leaves and the red jewel piece as the fruit, they make a nice combo. The rock work and the snow look great and the dragon is a nice touch to the story.
  24. Amazing build, LD! I absolutely love the curved rock texture. Its also nice to see the interior and how you minimized brick count in the back. Its always a pleasure to view you builds.
  25. Thanks, I was thinking about doing a frame, but I'm going to be busy in the coming days and I wanted to photograph it sooner rather than later. Thanks for the the comment; I'm trying to come up with different sapling designs, so its not the same design over and over again.
