    Last year I read somewhere that they were bringing out new wheels in 2013, I guess the new styles of the 94.8 tire's rim is what they were talking about. :/ bit of a let down.

    THAT THING IS RAPID. I'm making an RC trophy truck ATM, the first thing I'm going to do is make the independent suspension for the front, if I come up with any good ideas I'll let you know. :)

    I saw you came up with that for your Rock Crawler Panther! It's a great idea and seems to work extremely well. Only problem is I don't own any power pullers or 94.8 wheels and tires, the biggest I have is the smaller technic racing wheels with 81.4 tires.

    Thanks for the ideas people! But I'm looking for ways to increase the grip of the actual tire tread, not ways to stop the tire from slipping around the wheel, although that's ok because it will be helpful to other people. :)

    Hi everyone, I noticed a lot of people are buying 3rd party tires. I don't have the money for that and I was wondering if anyone has came up with any ways to increase grip on official Lego tires. :) I was thinking you could lightly roughen them up with sand paper since sandpaper makes things rougher and rougher materials create more friction. I haven't tried yet but if I do I'll share the results. Thanks for any ideas in advance! :)

    Effe, you have inspired me to make my own trophy truck muscle car! I have been really wanting to make something inspired by the boss crawler since I don't own one so I think I'll make something similar to yours :D also I only have 81.4 tires and I'm getting really annoyed at myself because I can't make a rock crawler without the wheels looking too small :/ so if I make one of these it should be less complex resulting in it being easier to build and I can fit in more functions :D
