With all these new quests I should probably finish building my summoned creature and get Jeaux's class updated. I have one at the moment that stands about 25 studs high, but I've been thinking about trying to build something a little smaller.

Jeaux finds Benji in the hall after readig the note he had posted. "Would you consider 220 gold to be a fair price for that handcannon?"

"Two spells... were cast yesterday... and three mages... were unoccupied... Enya... Shadir... and Ysp... I can't recall... him doing anything... on the first day... He said he... investigated Emmanuelle... but I don't remember... seeing him do... it... Sadly... Oxstrong died... before he could... look at Ysp's true... alignment... There is also... the matter of... why Fernandu has... been attacking... Emmanuelle..."

I had Lightshedder at the end instead of Lightshunner. I thought of both but had trouble deciding which to go with.

"Speaking outside... the main hall (thread)..., while disreputable does... not make one a traitor... and neither does being... a spell caster. As to this list... I'm afraid I... cannot recall ever... laying eyes... on any such list... You say that... he was protected by... an ally last night... which matches the... story told by Ezeal... and Fleyra... I'm not saying... you are wrong... simply that there... is more than... a reasonable doubt... as to his guilt."

"It would seem... two of them have... already been... uncovered. Or at least... a moderate number... of our companions believe... them to be... Nephilim... I understand... the feelings regarding... Ezeal as he... murdered one of our fellow... heroicans, but I'm... afraid I still... do not fully understand... the case that... has been made... against Piro, perhaps... I missed some... of the evidence... during the... commotion."

"Rather than risk... having the blood of an... innocent on my hands... I will also... do nothing for the moment... as I am... unsure of who may... or may not be... guilty."

"The author of the list... still holds much power... in this strategy... Perhaps if... the list were... by height... or appearance of... names according to... the common alphabet... it would be... more random towards... loyalty"

"He may be aggravating... infuriating... and generally unhelpful... but it could very likely... be the result of being locked... in the hall and having his loyalty questioned... I hardly think... we should kill him... for it."

"You make a good point... I would happily give you 5 gold... to help contribute... to Heroica's well being." Geosmos hands Ms. Deercourt 5 gold to cover half of what she contributed to the magnifying glass. Geo laughed in a low relaxed voice. "That is a phrase... I never expected to hear... from you little Calico."

Geosmos listened as the myriad of chatter filled the hall, this was all moving at a pace much faster than he felt comfortable. When one has no sense of depth perception, it pays off to take things slowly. He remarked with a slow cadence to his voice, "This list is a good plan... If we can be sure of the spell... For the moment all should be under suspicion... and if the one creating that list is a Nephilim... He or she could deal much damage before being stopped."

Jeaux finally returned to the hall. He had taken his time getting back as he was beginning to question what he was doing there in the first place. If what Nilrem had said was true and part of Jeaux's soul was gone forever, it was unlikely he would ever recover his memories of the past and who he once was. He wasn't even sure it mattered anymore. The old him was gone and knowing that man would accomplish little in helping him understand who he was now. He felt like a ship without a sail, bobbing in place and waiting for a current to take him in a new direction.

There was an orc invasion of the Kingdom of Ennoc 250 years ago and that is the basis for the founding of Heroica. A couple locations that have been mentioned are the Castle Fortaan, where the Orc King Tarokai was defeated by the founders of Heroica, and another was the Elsruhk Gates where there was apparently a catastrophic battle. If you, or anyone participating in the contest has any specific questions, you can probably ask them here and I'm sure one of the people playing the game would be happy to relay that question to the Heroica Librarian.

Jeaux took the card from the doctor, glancing at it briefly before stowing it away in his briefcase. He heard Heckz ask the doctor a couple of questions about the notes they had seen earlier and the creature who had attacked them. This inquisitive nature and quality of the questions seemed unusual for the typically vacuous mage, but perhaps Jeaux had judged him too quickly before.

"If you wish for us not to reveal the nature of your experiments, than I have no doubt those experiments will remain secret."

"Given the state of our opponent, I would not describe the individual as un-killable. Perhaps, doctor, you could make arrangements with individuals while they are still alive. So that upon their death, their bodies would be donated to you in the name of science. It would prevent the need to steal more corpses in the future and it may result in a more passive result than your previous success."

Like quest 19 for example.

Jeaux struggles to understand the scientist. Odd that it was easier to communicate with a common house fly than this man who spoke common. Once he was fairly certain of what the doctor had said he responded, "The man who requested our aid did not wear any mask, he was merely trying to protect the bodies that had been placed in his care. The ones that it appears you have been taking in order to perform your experiments. I take it the masked man is your employer?"
