Jeaux thought to himself, To be a fly on the wall, when an idea popped into his head. There was a bucket of waste in the room they had just left, and there were likely to be flies nearby. If he could communicate with one of the flies, he may be able to get a idea of what was behind the door without revealing the party's presence to those inside. Jeaux made his way back to the opening Heckz had created to see if there were any flies in the prior room and if there were able of communication.

Jeaux approached the door, listening intently to see if he could hear anything coming from behind it

"You might be able to freeze the door hinges, thus rendering them fragile enough to break."

Jeaux aims his handcannon at the doors latch and fires a round.

Now that the danger had passed, Jeaux scans the room to see if there are any items that may be of use.

"Heckz, do you think you might be able to help out Jensen, he doesn't look too good and I'm running low on potions at the moment." Sarge attacks Lab Rat M (&N) followed by a double strike on Lab Rat N from the front row. Jensen tries to catch his breath, and Jeaux curses the gods of chance stands by. When I was looking through Heroica's past quests for precedent, it seemed about half of the QMs did one free hit per turn, while the other half did one free hit per hero.

Jeaux could make out a haze of blurry shapes and figures, including a bright pink object hovering in the air in front of him, as the remedy worked its magic the blur began to resemble a note. Jeaux did a quick scan of the text, keeping an eye on the rats threatening them. It appeared there was a lottery being held in the hall. While reading the note, a black mark moved from Jeaux's hand onto the paper and wrote out a short message Nilr Jeaux The last words on the note seemed to sparkle with a raspberry color. He read the words out loud, "I've got Z-mail?". The note vanished in a puff of pink smoke, smelling faintly of freshly baked cookies.

Finally able to see once more Jeaux fired a round at Lab Rat O from the back row. Jensen attacks Lab Rat N with his trusty shovel

Jeaux, once more, felt a stinging in his eyes. Their would-be leader had again had taken his shield and run from the enemy, leaving his companions to the slaughter. Jeaux considered firing at the ex-sergeant to prevent any risk of future betrayals, but doubted he would strike successfully given his current condition and a miss would almost ensure a dagger or scissors in the back from the treacherous knight.

OOC: The King should be at 99, Lab Rat M should be at 32. Jeaux prepped another round in his hand cannon and aimed it at Lab Rat M from the back row

Struggling from yet another wound from the infernal rats, Jeaux uses a health core on himself and tosses a bone at Lab rat O. Hopefully it would be content to gnaw on that instead of the ranger's leg.

That's why I ran the math, I wanted to check it out myself. ((20(Sawblade) + 3(Bone Claws))x4 + 31(Level) + 4(Power Boost)) * 8(Icy) * 8(Beast) * 2(Encouraged) = 16256 What's a little disappointing, at least for a programmer like myself, is if Tesni was 1 level higher she would have done exactly 214 in damage.

So I was a little bit bored and I checked the math on that attack. I'm pretty sure the actual damage should have been 16,256 since the bone claws increase weapon power as opposed to total power. No difference to the fight, but just that little bit more awesome.

I thought using items on enemies did not count as targeting that enemy.

"Save your remedies for now, we may need them later." Jeaux utilizes the power of his neutralizer to cleanse all of the party members of their ill effects.
