    Jeaux watched the long awkward silence in response to Johon's query. "Should I take this silence to mean that while you are all in quite a hurry to go, you do not know the destination?"

    Jeaux was about to tell Fydelle of the events in the Deeps when Johon spoke up. He was ranting about some "thing" Jeaux was unfamiliar with. "Oculoids? What exactly is an oculoid?" Jeaux turned to Fydelle and addressed him, "Punii was the saboteur in the Deeps. When he saw us, he attacked. According to one of the residents I met in the apartments, something made him go insane. Perhaps it was these "oculoids" Johon mentioned."

    Jeaux gazes up the ladder after Johon. He seemed to be exhibiting some form of hysteria, running off without hardly taking a breath. Jueax shrugged his shoulders and inspected the area where the progg had fallen. He had seen some black substance leak out of the creature after it hit the crate. It appeared to move on it's own, as if something beyond gravity was manipulating it. He touched the floor to see if it may have left any residue in its wake.

    Jeaux walks over to Punii and picks up 40 of the scattered gold pieces, leaving the rest for Johon. He looks at what Punii is writing He turns back to Johon and asks, "He is your friend, should we carry him back to Solon now or interrogate him here and see what he has to say for himself?"

    Jeaux hangs back and does nothing, waiting to see if Johon can successfully bring Punii to his senses.

    "Careful, one of the other residents of these apartments mentioned the explosives expert in charge of clearing this area had gone mad. You're friend may no longer be himself."

    Jeaux could see the yellow progg apparently hiding in the corner. The rat Jeaux had talked to earlier said that a yellow progg had been hired to handle the explosive work and had caused the severe damage visible around them. Jeaux reached for his hand cannon, readying himself for a potential altercation when he heard Johon call out to the progg. It seemed Johon had a positive relationship with this creature? If this was the villain they had sought, then there was a distinct possibility Johon may betray Jeaux and side with his acquaintance. Jeaux held his hand at the ready, choosing to observe the interaction between Johon and this "Punii" before acting.

    Hearing of the crawlspace, Jeaux decided to head to the roof and take a closer look at where it may lead.

Unless you believe it would help our investigation, I see little reason to open the containers. Did you find anything in or near the desk?"

    It seemed that Johon had not heard Jeaux enter the room. "No need to shout. Have you found anything in the desk?" Jeaux took a closer look at the blue container, hoping to ascertain what may lie inside.

    OOC: No worries, the story moved along all the same. Jeaux picks up the blue vial before him, and heads back down the stairs and up the ramp to 3C "It would depend on your definition of experienced I suppose. I believe I have been with Heroica for about a year now, or perhaps a month. I've always had difficult keeping track of time. The padlocks were all secured, so unless you have skills at lockbreaking or breaking locks I don't see us getting into any of the crates. I also found this odd blue jelly in the room next door, ever seen anything like it?"

    Jeaux looked back at the mound of rocks he had just climbed. I could have sworn I was walking up the staircase I had found. This place is far stranger than I had first thought. He saw a few boxes in the room with locks on each of them. Jeaux checked the boxes to see if any of the padlocks were open.

    OOC:2C seems to have a ramp in front of it? or at least the second floor, third room from the left. "I have checked in the only open room on the base floor and the first room on the second floor. The rodent I mentioned makes his residence on the first floor, I didn't see anything of consequence in the first room on the second floor, and I was just inspecting the stair case in the last room on this floor when Elgar-" It was at this point Jeaux realized he was talking to himself as Johon had already left the room. Jeaux headed up the stairs to see what was on the floor above him.

    OOC:Yep, the party split into 3 and 2 "I go by the name of Jeaux. As to our current situation, I am unsure of what the proggs have told you so I'll just start from the beginning. Our party was hired to try and help the proggs colonize here under Eubric peacefully without enraging the citizens above. There is a man named Jetorix who has repeatedly tried to harm the proggs and the rest of the party is currently dealing with him. They also asked us to investigate apparent acts of sabotage to their construction site here in the deeps. Elgar and I were investigating when Elgar took ill and was escorted away. So far it seems the explosives expert they hired to clear the area went mad and is currently destroying the settlements, or at least that is what I have been told by a rather bright rodent. If what the rat said was true, the saboteur should be located somewhere below our current position. I think that just about covers it."

    "He was acting rather quiet and disconnected for a while, perhaps there is some deeper underlying issue that was triggered by the fungus. I've heard certain fungal spores can cause the most luminous hallucinations or other erratic behavior. He should really be examined by a professional so we may gather more information regarding the matter." It was at this time that Jeaux noticed the barbarian before him. "You weren't here before. Have we met?"

    The foul odor pierced Jeaux's senses. He tried desperately to think of something that carried a similar smell that would explain the origins of the substance. While thinking about it, Jeaux bent down to get a better look at the material
