Jeaux hands out the items dropped by the fallen enemies Loot Distribution Jeaux - Professor’s Kit Em - 4 Scrap Metal, Topax Hybros - 4 Scrap Metal Pretzel - 5 Scrap Metal As Jeaux opens his briefcase to depost the Professor's tools inside, he finds a stash of loot that somehow got lost in the unexpected depths the briefcase held. OOC: Was going through the loot for the quest and realized none of the loot from Jeaux's private encounter was actually added to Jeaux and Soryx's inventory, so I figure I'll just re-distribute it now if there is no objection Em - 20 Gold, Mead, Smelling Salts Hybros - 20 Gold, Nostrum Pretzel - 40 Gold, Phoenix Essence Jeaux - 20 Gold Jeaux placed the Crimson Haze in his briefcase and shut the latch. "We were simply completing our mission. That it aligned with your goals was a coincidence, and you should not mistake it for cooperation. From everything you have said so far, I estimate you are as great a threat to this world as the shades we just dispatched, and there is a high probability we will be sent to stop you at some point in the future. I can assure you, I will pursue that mission with the same dedication as I have shown here." Jeaux left the two faceless bigots to go speak with Wally, "I am sorry that the Doctor is dead. From what little I saw of him, he seemed like a man interested in making the world a better place, and I would like it if you would continue to follow in his footsteps."

Seeing the doctor take an offensive position against the group, Jeaux turns to address him. "I do not dispute they have as much right to exist as any of us, but it is our mission to stop the threat to Zylstra and they have done nothing to indicate the mission has yet been fulfilled. "We have been charged with the protection of this village. The most reliable way to prevent them from posing a threat in the future is to exterminate them now. This has nothing to do with what they deserve, it is simply us fulfilling our obligation as members of Heroica."

We were hired to end the threat to this community. If you still pose a threat, then our purpose is to destroy you. Given your first action after creation was attacking the people of Zylstra, it is reasonable to expect you will do so again. Jeaux observed the group who had just joined them. Their faces seemed to echo the blank expression of his own, but they seemed more like masks than their true selves. He couldn't help but wonder who would choose to hide their true selves behind such an artificial presence.
