  1. Thanks. Im working on my editings skills and will release a new video soon with building instructions too. I have tried to fit a shock absorber to the front suspension but there is absolutely no space! And about the rear suspension, the real thing uses double wishbone but at this scale its impossible with the current lego parts (need small CV joints)
  2. Hello everyone! This time the challenge was to create a steering mechanism with suspension as small and compact as possible. Together with some other techniques and the usage of a technic chassis, this humvee was born! And i will share the concept of the mechanism: More photos https://www.flickr.com/photos/27805688@N05/ If anyone wants, ill upload an LDD file later.
  3. Thanks guys! Im making an LDD file and will share it soon. Thanks! At first i wanted to make it in dark blue/blue with white stripes but the windscreen mudguards are only available in black, yellow, white and dark green. Thanks! Yes, they are pretty rare but the black windscreen mudguard are more expensive (used are 10$ a piece and new 20$) Thanks! I love this building style because first of all it tests the limit of compactness + look + solidness + functionality and the process to think of those solutions is very addictive! Thanks! And no, they are linked together with a 2L beam Thanks! LDD file will be ready soon!
  4. Hello everyone! Today i present you my latest and most complex MOC: the AC Cobra 427. The challenge was to create a medium sized car with a complex body structure and add as many technic features as possible making it look good, functional, playable and robust. After going through lots of difficulties i have finally managed to get it done. Here is the result: It features the following: 1. working steering via steering wheel + adjustable steering wheel angle 2. front and rear independant suspension 3. rear differential 4. working V8 piston engine 5. a lever that opens the hood 6. opanble doors 7. openable trunk 8. solid structure -Images removed- More photos on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/27805688@N05/ P.S sorry for my bad photographing and editing skills.
  5. Hi, I was bored so i decided to try reverse engineer the upcoming 2017 telehandler (42061). I filled dark areas with parts according to my sense of logic. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByDobrCn2djYTWo5U2xEUWZyZTg
  6. it is not possible because the solid axle rotates around the driving axle
  7. I thought of trying to fit a 5 x 7 frame but the connection to the triangle beam is very unpleasant because of the 1 stud gap but i might try that later on. as for the rest of the setup, unfortunately i cant adapt your technique because the criteria of suspension at such size is to be max 1 stud above the wheel axle (yours is 2 studs) making rather bad ground clearance for utilizing suspension, also in order to pair another setup of wheels the center of steering needs to be as close as possible to the wheel so that the wheels wont collide, and at last for the steering, the hardest thing is to maintain steering while the setup rotates aroun the driving axle, as far as ive researched the only possible way is with a 16 t gear Ill try my best fitting the mechanism with a 5 x 7 frame, thanks for the tip! The triangle beams allow the half beam 1 x 2 at the same angle as the CV joint so its a natural limit the the steering angle, as for the bottom rack holder, it is the best solution so far (in order for the rack to be held properly with the 16t there needs to be a half stud offset thus not being able to fall off ill try to come up with a more esthetic way.
  8. First of all thanks. Secondly, inverting the wheel will cause the tire to collide with the 1 x 2 beam when steered, even using the old wheel version. id like to see your design, ive searched for similar setups and found none at that width with suspension+all wheel drive steer. also placing the shock absorber takes a lot of space so that function modules need to be very compact For the last question, that is a good idea, the perfectionism inside me didnt even let this thought come up.
  9. Hello everyone. Im back with a new project, a modular mobile crane based on the Liebherr LTM 1090. The main challenge was to make it all wheel drive+steering and suspension keeping it 17 studs wide max (otherwise the wheels would be out of proportion) so using the new hubs was not an option and therefore i had to think of a way to deliever drive and steering while having a solid axle of 3L height. after many attempts one of them gave me good results. the hardest part was to make a platform for the rack but in this setup it is very solid. the suspension setup would have 1 shock absorber for each pair of wheels (in a solid axle rotating around the drive axle 1 shock absorber is enough to be activated from both sides.) Im not sure if ill be able to participate in the challenge since i lack the parts to make another pair so it depends if my order will arrive before the deadline. this is a prototype version so it might be improved, it is just to show the idea. the suspension setup will be shown later along with the chassis. feel free to use and have a nice day! Shimon.
  10. Excellent review!! i think ill grab like 6 of the long cylinders once they reach BL also it is nice to see that my replica was about 95% accurate
  11. You are welcome ! Spent many hours viewing individual pixels from those videos, sorry for not completing it, didnt have time to finish and i didnt want to guess parts i wasnt sure about. Cheers.
  12. Thanks! i would really like to discuss the possible solution to the outrigger mechanism
  13. Here is my version of the 42043 which i started making over a month ago. because of serious lack of time some minor sections are incomplete; the drive shaft and the outriggers mechanism in the outriggers mechanism i cant see any possible option other than using chain links to provide rotation to the right outrigger i left it blank on purpose, other than that most of the model is complete Enjoy! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByDobrCn2djYOU05UlJNT3FiLUU/view?usp=sharing

  15. Still if a picture shows a blank space and there's a part there it's not normal and should be considered.
  16. the thing that fooled me in the yellow panels is that it seems as if you connect it as shown in the picture it is impossible to disassemble it so i left it blank
  17. i think it would be fair if the second cylinder wouldnt count because of that picture.. its not my only problem unfortunately, the sad part is that for the two pin axle hole connector+ the dbg 2l pin 1l axle hole being put from right to left instead left to right i get -6 anyway i counted 48 mismatches and without the cylinder\pin direction problem 37 i bet the technic pros here did way better so better luck next year
  18. Now seriously guys the second cylinder would be visible here but it isn't.. Tried ldd from the same angle and it's supposed to be visible
  19. So after the part list is released i have couple things to say, There is a second cylinder present but in the top view picture it was clearly seen the there in nothing attached to the back of the triangle connector so this is kinda wierd.. Secondly, inside the yellow panels, where the black pin is sticking out there seems to be 1 x 2 liftarms connected there, i thought about this but didnt add those because then the yellow panels would be stuck( it makes a close assembly) other than that no one could have guess that inside the wheels, rear or front there are half bushes doubled instead of regular bushes what do you guys think?
  20. here you see the pin going out thats where these parts go to i think.. also for the second cylinder it is clearly not present in the picture given to us so. in that picture there is a blank space on the other side of the cylinder so thats kinda unfair if its there...
  21. Am i the only one who didnt include the 1 x 2 liftarm with axle hole and the half 1 x 2 black liftarms to the yellow panels because then it would be impossible to disassemble it? (42034 Techreverse)
  22. thanks. does 42034 have some spare parts for the B model or all the parts are used in the main model?
  23. Can you post inventory pictures of 42034 please?
  24. There is no motor.. I just left a blank space as if it is there, The hardest part is the cylinder mount, anyone figured that out? It seems like a dark bluish gray part is holding it from the center
  25. Maybe.. 42031 seems to have new parts But then does LDD have the pullback motor part?
