first of all i bought a "set" on ebay which includes 2 clear cylinders (or 4 yellow at same price) 2 switches 4 t-pieces and more various connectors and 3 meters of hoses clear and black for all i just payed 43$.. the linear is more effective because the pneumatics have maximum weight which at some state it loses the air

Model team
shimon replied to Buttons's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
well first of all YEAH i want model team back !!, their creations looked very real and detailed like 5571 5590 5591 its not like the creator rig compared to black cat first of all in model team there was 1 thing i didnt like .. thats how they mixed up blue yellow red green inside the models, but outside they were fantastic! 1 more thnig the model team always had steering in their models the wheels were not wide and thats make them easier to steer unlike creator the 4896 the wheels are wide and they car barely steer... oh and the windscreens ... -
well the reinforcements are coming to rescue their friends and defeat the evil tripod! it must end somehow doesnt it??
-
my first atempt to build an apocalypse diorama i just saw the 8112 in the store and i took it ... then i decided to build a some kind of tripod ... after many of theese this is what you get : i built it in 20 minutes when i had nothing else to do .
-
here ill explain you what i mean when i say pop out : and the other reason is that when you use the 4896 steering part (yea my car moves a little ) its easier to make side guards yea there are many simple and genious techniques like to use a bracket 1 x 1 for a cheese slope and a light i like it wow on the 4939 its looks like the car is steering ! but its not... i made this car as a side project i have my main one and its in small progress and about the 6 wide i dont think that these wheels will do it they are too big lego did a good thing using the mudguards . as i said i tried all the possible ways and thats eventually what u get .. something like this
-
wow i also have about 11000 pieces (didnt count) the good thing is that 98% are in new colours light bluish gray and dark bluish gray no mixed colours like yellow+green+blue+red, that just looks wrong to me and every time i buy a set i check instructions and inventory. too bad we dont have lego shops cuz in tyosrus the prices are 200%+ from Shop At Home have to wait 3 weeks for things to arrive from ebay
-
well i dont have sets that are under 2003... and i need it to be in a closed car instead of my rack i can use a 1 x 6 rack but i dont have it . and if ill use that steering arm i cant make any side guards for it cuz the wheel is 3 studs wide and the stud will pop out of the wheel ..... dude i tried many things and this is eventually what u get if u want to make it : 1 look good (no technic parts popping out 2 functionality (make it work and still look like a normal car and instead of cutting the 4l bar u can use a flexible hose which i dont have ...
-
well i forgot to put the final part 1 x 2 yellow tile in the front bumper ... i think it was possible to make it turn from the small steering wheel but i had enough head ache to make it with the 2 x 2 round
-
i was curious if its possible to make 8 studs wide steering ? so i made a car .. that will show us the answer is : YES! after many attempts of shapes and things it looks like this : dam!!! forgot the yellow tile 1 x 2 in the bottom front =((( so shame steering mechanism :

thanks!! glad you like it well i built it as a prototype for my MOC it was a test but then i realized its too tall for the moc im working on but it was too bad to break it, maybe ill keep it til the moc after which will defenetly be an MTT im working on a droid tank-command center after a lot of testings and trying i made it to drive pretty well with remote control it can make all the moves without dropping treads (i hope the weight that will be added wint ruin it) guys i need some help any ideas what should i make on a treaded base? what style? im confused heres what it looks like for now:
-
haha very cute
