A Minifig to Represent Each Country? Help!
Kintobor replied to kobalt's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Haha. A lumberjack. Very funny. Honestly, I'd love to see an RCMP officer, or a "mountie" as some of you foreigners to Canada might know them as. A lacrosse player would be more appropriate than a hockey player for Canada, due to lacrosse being our country's national sport, despite popular belief. The mountie wouldn't be too hard to Bricklink for parts. The lacrosse player, though... -
Congratulations, StickFig! Here's to a hopefully healthy baby for you and your wife!

Okay, another foreign film, but this one's a little more mainstream. No clues until people are thoroughly stumped.

Is it They Shoot Horses, Don't They?

Protector of Concord Dawn was excellent up until the end where it felt a little rushed. Still enjoyed the heck out of it, though.

General Discussion and Announcements
Kintobor replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Has anyone thought of doing an MSPaint Adventure styled game on the forums in Lego? I'm not sure how familiar people are with the concept, but the games general present it's audience with a character, and the audience gets to suggest actions for said character. I think it'd be kind of neat, but I currently don't have the time to plan such a thing. I guess I should also ask if there would be interest in doing such a thing, because that'd be kind of important. -

Karie exhaled as she turned to the young mage. "I'll explain it to you later." Karie rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to play into Sarge's little games. "I'd advise you to watch your tongue, Sarge. I'm not the same woman who stepped into this hall three years ago. You can try to bully me about, but it's not going to work, because I've been through worse than a greying, heckling old man." Karie irritably walks away.

I'll come out and say that I've been having some QM fatigue, and after the two quests I'm hosting wrap up I'm going on QM hiatus to not completely ruin the fun of it for me. I intend to come back and wrap all the arks I've been building up. As a side note, I'm going to be busy this upcoming week. There's a train show I'm attending in which I'll be displaying what's been completed of my WIP layout. I'm going to be a little sporadic in my posts as I'm finishing models and getting things finalized. Don't expect updates this upcoming Saturday and Sunday.

Updates will roll out tomorrow. I'm busy preparing for a night out, and since it involves a hockey game, I don't know how long I'm going to be out. Sorry folks.

Worst movie would have to be Johnson's Family Vacation. Never heard of it? That's probably for the best. Think Vacation, the original with Chevy Chase, but woefully unfunny. Not even a peep of humour. It's one of the biggest crimes in film making: an unfunny comedy. It's not even so bad it's good like The Room or Troll 2. It's simply a god awful comedy. Worst video game... I can't think of any particularly bad games I've played. I think I'm fortunate enough to not buy into preorder culture and generally wait to buy any "AAA game". Though, I did particularly hate Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It fails at being a Paper Mario game, an RPG, and even being fun. Granted it looks and sounds gorgeous, but good graphics don't make a good game. Worst song... well, what's popular, repetitive, and overly sexualized? I don't hate all of it. Uptown Funk was surprisingly catchy, but I find avoiding mainstream music to be in my best interest.

Really liking these new Elves sets. There's a lot of character to the first wave buildings, and the Marketplace looks really neat. It seems like they've split Regana's castle into two sets, one which includes the dragon, and the other which includes the castle proper. The Queen Dragon/Mother Dragon/Falcor/whatever it is looks stupendous. It looks feminine without looking girly, and I think whoever designed it did a good job. The castle itself is not what I was expecting, but it looks superb nonetheless. I think what's throwing me off is the lower section of the castle. I get what they were going for, but I would've preferred perhaps light grey instead of light pink, and dark green instead of the more pastel green used. I think that would've given it a more "eerie magical castle" vibe. The Regana figure looks superb, and the details around the castle do as well. Is there a AzarixEmily ship or something that I'm missing? Most sets that Emily's in Azari is as well, but not vice-versa.

"Yes... beth you do that." Vindsval manages to pry the door clean off it's hinges, leaving Zarovitch and his men looking in awe. Zarovitch shakes his head and moves into the building, observing the mess left behind by the party. He soon notices Lyudmila and moves to her side with a remedy. "My lady, please, you look ill. Drink thiths." "Thank you, Captain." "No... do with her as you will. Thtill, I would apprecthiate hearing what Thilvia's plan was." "So, Silvia conspired with Makepeace... that explains some of this. I had my suspicions the Countess was still in town, but the magic surrounding her estate made investigating it impossible. One of my guards is missing, clearly another conspirer with Amber, and they were also the one guarding the entrance to Lyudmila's manor. She's been missing since shortly after that blasted Decamon tournament where she lost her title. It's been longer than that." "I'll send my men out to search for her. Immediately. The gates to the city are barred, so there's no escape for her." Zarovitch seemed irritated taking commands from the dwarf, but he stepped outside and immediately began giving commands to his men. -

She grimaced, looking at Sarge with false enthusiasm. "Oh joy! My favourite drunken bum back from the ends of the earth!" Karie frowned. "What are you and your friends going to do, liquor yourselves up until you beat me? Like that's going to end well for you." She scoffed.

Annie moves her body weight off the fence. "It sounds better than actively conjuring demons." Annienal looks around for potential sources of food for the horse, including apple trees. -
Karie, noticing the amount of liquor bottles surrounding Atramor, straps her guitar to her back and picked the empty bottles up and carried them in her arms like a baby. "Look, let's try and keep the place looking clean, or at the bear minimum, presentable, shall we?" She carried them off to the bar and placed them for the barkeep to clean up. "So, who's our new Grand Poobahs running the various factions? Certainly someone with standards, I hope."

"Ugh... no... I'm vine... I can get up on my own." Lyudmila manages to stand up looking wobbly in the knees. Lyudmila looks sternly at Sorrow as she seemingly searches her own memories to take in her current situation. "I let my guard down vor one moment and this happens. I can only imagine how long that ignorant cult leader's been having me as her thrall." The countess spits out what appears to be a mixture of blood and a strangely coloured liquid. She notices Silivia among Sorrow's entourage and frowns. The door to the outside is still locked, but Althior can make out that a path that heads east. A loud and forcible knock emirates from the other side of the front door. A familiar voices booms from the other side. "Heroicans? Vat are you doing in there? I'm busting this door down on the count of three!" "That'd... be Zarovitch... either you four bust that door down, or he will." -

QM Note: If you don't specify row, I've always ruled that you're attacking from the front row, no matter what you do. In the past, players I've hosted usually only specify row when they're sticking to the back, so that's how I've ruled it. I am willing to fix the previous rounds' stats, though. I feel that's only fair. It also seems like I messed up some of the numbers during calculating damage. This will be remedied when I get a chance. However, I'm certain that the Counterstrike Gloves only work when the character isn't KO'd. You can't really strike back when you're out cold. -

Kintobor replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Enough of this "path" nonsense, Vindy. She agreed with my opinions. I did no such coercing, unlike what I had to do to poor little Lyudmila. That I will take responsibility for, if only to help her people. You take me as a monster Vind, when in reality I am actually a liberator. Kind of like how Tarokai's viewed depending on who you ask." "I don't see it as such, Althior, and I'm surprised you don't agree with me. Us undead are prosecuted as being unholy abominations by those who do not understand us. This will finally give the undead not only a place to live, but quell the tide of both flagrant racism in Eubric. Please tell me that the classist elite have covered the curtains over your eyes?" "Pfft. And Heroica's is? What does Heroica stand for but maintaining the status quo? It's called upon by the individuals running an establishment that oppresses the minorities, ones that won't work together because they're minorities. Together as one, Eubric could become a utopia, where the notion of prejudice does not exist. Oh, no. I'm getting the hell out of here. I suppose I could have a chat in the flesh if you honestly want to have a talk... I feel it'd be a waste of everyone's time, though..." Lyudmila has no pulse, seeing how she's a vampire, but her vital signs show she is definitely still alive.
