QM Note: I'll have images shortly. Right now let's get the quest moving along. The party moved towards the wrought iron gate, and open it with a deafening creak. Inside was a wooden lift, seemingly been in place for years. Stepping inside, the gate closed as a small light above them turned on. With a massive shudder, the wooden lift descended down, down, down, into the depths of the earth, the party overcome with a draft chill as the cold stone walls surrounded their descent... JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF OLEGAIA CHAPTER 3: Into the Abyss The lift shuddered as we all removed ourselves from the wooden cage, our knees wobbly from the ever present shakes of the previous trip. We made it to the bottom of the shaft, the deepest any dwarf dared to mine. The only light we could see was that emanating from the lift. We were all overcome with a chill. I still remember walking out into that place for the first time. We all expected some ratty cave. I hoped to immediately see my brother, Tom, even though in my heart I knew he couldn't be this close... The party seemed to be alone this time, the only sound echoing through the darkness being the occasional drip of water. What would the party do? -

"Pfft. Nope. We're in the mainland, buddy. Closest ports Dim Haven, and we'll be going through the wilderness to get to it. I bet you you could probably hitch a ride with a ship their. I wouldn't want to spend another minute out in the open, to be honest. Have you seen the mutant freaks that wander around the place? Portals. Now I'm seeing the bigger picture." Amber crosses her arms. "Not like I had a choice in the matter... I know what you heroes do when you go into combat. I was one, remember? That you're now a pain in the megablocks to kill, so that's out of the question. You lot are like bad coins in that you keep showing up." The party with Amber in tow move back into the underground, Amber ensuring the secret passage is covered up. The party makes it to the bodies left in the library where Orokai, Dethraed, and Jarret lie dead once more. Amber looks impatient, twitchy almost. "Let's hurry this up and go, Throlar." -
All of the quests I'm running will update tomorrow. I've unfortunately had something unexpected pop up and wasn't able to photograph the sets I wanted to.

Besides, Mayor Morris has told us that these men only occasionally come to shore, and when they do they deploy hit and run tactics, very quick strikes that are used to grab what they can and get out. They mainly attack Tridentia's ships. Why would we focus on arming a village when our focus should be stopping their vessels, and their men, from coming ashore? "I'm, um, still not entirely sure what our plan of attack is." Annienal replied, an air of irritation surrounding her. Her lanky arms were resting on the pommel of her sword, not in preparation for battle, but out of desperation for people to listen. "We don't know when these marauders are returning, nor where they're likely to come from other than the sea. We don't have any clear plan besides getting a small, ragtag militia started up that we don't know will actually amount to something. What we do have are four individuals who are capable of fighting, and are capable of defending themselves. We should be training these four instead of focusing on a group of undertrained, um.... well, peasants. Captain, do you have a map to show us where these raiders last came from? If not, is there any area on the island that would allow the pirates to both land their boats and make it to town fairly quickly? If they're using hit and run tactics like I remember you saying, then we could easily set up a trap for them on the beaches and catch them before they land on shore. At least... it seems far less complicated than, um, training villagers and fortifying the village..." -
"That's good to hear. I hope the Guild takes you seriously, considering what you've been through." Karie didn't respond to Punii's inquiries about Masson initially. She nodded her head a few times before speaking. "He's been... alright, I suppose. Better than he was a few months ago." Karie looked behind her to the shadowy figure. She didn't remember him introducing himself. "Him? I don't know what he's about. Why don't you go ask him?"

The library ghost jump scare was followed up by upbeat music as the crew runs out like a bunch of chickens. Peter Venkman was continually trying to seduce Dana while she was possessed. Gozer's outfit was ridiculously campy, and a name like Gozer the Gozerian? I mean, sure, Ghostbusters works because it takes it's material seriously, but all good comedies do that. The new Ghostbusters is selling itself as a comedy like the original. Would you present to an audience looking for comedy the toned down drama to push the plot forward, or the more emphasized comedy which the audience wants to see if they're going into a comedy film?

It looks alright. I got a few chuckles out of it, and the trailer was smart enough not to spoil the entire plot of the movie and just give the audience the films basic premise. It looks fun enough. The various ghost capturing devices like the pistols and bear trap were ridiculous, but let's face it, one of the cartoon shows probably did it first. I'm not a huge fan of Paul Fieg, but the movie seems smart enough to not try and make the movie's comedy stem from the fact it's starring women.

QM Note: Bodywear. I'll remedy that when I get a moment. The crab merely looks up at Nerwen before fading away. It seems to disappear alongside the shrinking puddle of water in the bathroom. Thalion peaks through the door, only to find that they are indeed back inside Ernesto's house. The features around the wooden door seemed to slowly be reverting back into Ernesto's house, although it was a rather slow rate. The water surrounding the door disappeared with a loud slurp. Peaking through the front door, the party saw a familiar face. "Er, um, is everything alright in there?" -
Karie pockets the toy kazoo. "I've got a few. Has Immortalis said anything else besides his demands, and where are we to be meeting him?"

Karie enters the hall, a toy kazoo hanging out of her mouth as she plays a jaunty tune. She stops playing once she gets close to the party, but keeps it in her mouth, dangling like a loose cigarette. "Morning, everyone. Dragon Lord. Lind. Jinnie. Other people." Karie raises her hand towards the two people she hadn't met before, at least she was sure she hadn't. "I don't think we've met. Name's Karie. I'll be your entertainer for this shindig."
