She never got why her parents wanted her in Trost. She never was very militarily minded. "I'd like to see your men in action, so I suppose we should go and find them. Amber drew her gloved hand to her mouth and held it there for a moment before blowing the dwarf a half hearted kiss. She seemed somewhat out of it. "What do you mean I'm "not ready"? I wasn't ready for a lot of things, but here I am. I wasn't ready for dying, I wasn't ready for being resurrected, I wasn't ready for you murdering Silivia! I mean, you bring her down here in a state of enthralment for Helvetia's sake! To do what? Salt my wounds? That's cold, Sorrow, even for someone like me." Amber looked on the edge of tears seeing Silivia in her current position. "You've made this personal for me, Sorrow, and I intend to do the same to you." Amber seems aghast at Vindsval's revelation. Her eyes dart and she turns away from the party, obscuring her face. It takes her a solid couple of seconds before she turns around and looks at Vindsval. "I figured it'd be him. I guess I.... just needed to hear it coming from you four." Amber sits down in her chair, looking introspective and calm for once. "I have the spell finished. This library held the answers to finalizing the spell. Imagine, a bunch of idiotic old wizards accidentally turn an entire town into a necropolis and lock their secrets away underground. This whole place is teeming with old wizard labs and rotting spell components from when this place was run by the living, and then BANG! Everyone winds up undead, and those that didn't go crazy started up a town in the ruins of the spell's destruction. My time here was used perfecting that spell that will turn Eubric into a necropolis... and also hopefully ensuring it doesn't explode once it is complete... or halfway through the spell, it wasn't quite clear on that bit, but whatever. I have the location all set out. I have the various spell components being transferred to the city... it'll be a few more months, sure, especially with you four shaking down the entirety of Fellcrest to find me and what I had hoped to be a base of operations, but I have it all ready to roll. It's just a matter of time now..." Amber lifts her arms into the air, giving a weak, but triumphant smile. "A matter of time until I win." Amber shrugs. "So... what are you going to do now?" -

Going on QM hiatus after 137 and 144, so count me out. What I'd like to see is some new blood when it comes to QMing, even if it's only once. I'd be more than willing to help new QMs construct a quest.

I had no doubt that this set would deliver, and it did. Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones' hair pieces look phenomenal, the Ecto-1 looks like an overall improvement from the last set to feature the vehicle, and the inclusion of Chris Hemsworth, the bike, and the ghost are really nice. Loving the mini figure heads, too. I can think of a lot of uses for them. -

Okay, so everything's ready for the next set of pictures.... except I can't find Amber Makepeace's fig. So until I get a moment to look for her, bear with me. Althior consumes a Grand Tonic: +15 ether. Scroll of Luck: 2 (Success! Althior is Lucky! -10 ether) The party descends into the depths of the underground, Vindsval finding it hard to squeeze. The air is stagnant and mouldy. The walls are lined with loose brick, masonry work that appeared to of not seen hundreds of years of work. The corridor looked like it could come down on them at any minute, but it thankfully didn't. The party could hear footsteps going back and forth, back and forth, as if pacing up ahead, a source of light glistening in the dark. Rounding a corner, the party enters a large library, filled with rotting tomes and decaying woodwork. It seemed anything of value had been looted already. A table and chair sit in the far corner, on top of which sits a candle, a single gold bar, and what appears to be a severed head, blonde golden locks flowing off the edge of the table, tied back into a ponytail. The head seemed to be rotten already. Behind that seemed to be the only thing of worth: a solid gold chest. A cool breeze washed through the room and soon became apparent why: a passage way had been opened behind the desk and chair and between two bookshelves. A secret passageway, perhaps? A dark haired woman paced close to the table, looking irritable and obsessive over something. Her ripped and worn cloak flowed behind, with many open holes in the fabric. She locked eye contact with the party, narrowing her dead, glossed over eyes. "Glad you could make it to my last performance her in Fellcrest. Beneath this town is a series of tunnels that once served a wizards circle. We had them sealed off ages ago, but it seems like Amber's been working away down there, going through their old tomes. The first residenths of this town were the mages's who turned every living being here undead after a massive spell fallout. Of course, this town's much smaller than Eubric. I don't know how Amber intends to so, but she must have found a way to amplify the spell. I'll join you-" Lyudmila coughs violently, looking ready to topple over. Captain Zarovitch moves to her aide and lies her down. "Absolutely not. You're staying here under armed supervithion. I'll handle this myself. We can expect resistance. I'll bring my men. Heroicans, you're to go into the underground and find Amber." "The lot of you have done a great service to thith town. I'll have something brought up for you before you leave, but for now, we leave for the cemetery. Come, my men and I will escort you." The party leaves the estate and follows Strahd and four of his men, Strahd bringing his steed with him. The town is quiet, but a large amount of guards patrol the streets, getting any straggler indoors. The party heads down the back alley and eventually comes in front of the Cemetery. Close by the party can see what appears to be an open grave, although there appears to be no signs of digging. "My men and I will stand watch. It's almost daybreak. If any of you have any preparing to do, I'd do so now."
