  1. Congrats to you, Donnylonglegs!
  2. Thank you! This should be fun, since it's been a while since I ran an RPG. I used to DM for a group of friends, but we haven't found the time to play a session, which is partially the reason I got intrigued with Heroica. The other was because let's face it, Lego's awesome.
  3. Mine is! I didn't want to say anything, but my quest was accepted, and sign ups start tomorrow! So excited!
  4. "If life seems jolly rotten, there's something you've forgotten, and that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing! When your feeling in the dumps, don't be silly chumps! Just purse your lips and whistle- that's the thing!" She begins to tipsily dance by herself on the table.
  5. "No, no, here's the one I always enjoyed!" She straightens herself and begins to sing. "Always look on the bright side of life! Always look on the bright side of life!" She continues to sing the rest of the song, encouraging others to join her, her voice reaching the farthest end of the hall.
  6. Which ones do you know of?
  7. "*snort* Hehehe! Bricky, I'm okay... I'm okay." She sits up straight, but couldn't help but snicker. A broad smile came through as she began laughing hysterically. "Okay, I don't do this often, but do you wanna see me perform?" Without waiting for a reply Karie stumbles out of her chair and onto the table, and then begins to slur out less of a song and more of a drunken, madcap tune. "First you wiggle your tail! Then you wiggle your snout! Then you wiggle your rump! Then shout it out!" She wobbles precariously on the table, somehow managing not to spill any beverage, or knock over any empty bottles or plates. She continues to shout out the songs lyrics, who must have been written by OOC: You've been warned, don't hit the link if you hate ponies. OOC: I mean it! Don't hit the link!
  8. The three ghosts, Geoffrey, Gus and Ivan were based off in a design sense the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion ride, the dire rats special is based of the song "There are no cats in America" from An American Tail (the first, the rest sucked <Okay, Two wasn't that bad, but the other two, as Tony would say, "Fugget about 'em!">). There's more references, but you'll have to see what they are as the party moves through the cemetery.
  9. "Yay, sure, hold on Arnie, I'm just gonna ask... where did she go? I was just talking to her?" Karie looks about lazily, certain that she had company. "Ah well, her fault! Come, you will drink, and we won't argue about a Stealer of Salesmen! Here, have some more!" Karie pours alcohol into Arnulf's already full glass. She appears to be half functioning in terms of her sense of surroundings. "Citizen being followed eh? Perhaps by a secret admirer! I had a secret admirer once! He claimed to be some far off merchant who frequented the club! And then I told him I won't be anchored... to no stupid merchant, and his stupid ship!" Karie dies of laughter before falling out of her chair. The bottles were beginning to pile up.
  10. "Quest? Oh yes! Not a single hopeless romantic in sight! No Brickington, not one!" Her smile fades. "What's the Quest about again?"
  11. Three empty bottles of liquor sat on the table, Karie leaning tipsily in her chair, her mask skewed. She noticed Brickington and straightened herself and stopped leaning in her chair. "Hey! Bricky! I knew I'd find you! I... I was wondering if you could get me that bottle of alcohol you owe me? Falana wine for me please! Get what ever you feel like, chum!" She was, in Layman's terms: Drunk.
  12. Karie finds herself back where she started, Heroica Hall. She had gone around in a circle. The nights cold was not worth fighting, but she didn't know how her friends would react after her explosion with Arnulf. She reluctantly makes her way back up to the front doors, hands quivering against her arms, looking for an ounce of warmth. She reaches one hand out and opens the hall doors. She's still cold after her time outside, paler than she usually looks. Snow melts in her hair as she walks in, unfruitful from her journey in town. She quietly makes her way back to the bar, then returns to her round table in the corner with a plate of food and a tall glass of wine. She quickly begins devouring the warm roast beef and potatoes, and slugs the wine out of the bottle. It didn't matter what others saw her as. She was abused unwillingly by a man who made the worst out of the hand he was dealt, and took it out on people who were trying to make the best out of their lives. And that hurt her most.

  19. It was getting late out. Karie should have taken note of where the theater was before leaving the Hall. It was cold, and the wind was awfully chilly. Not many people were out and about, at least not in this area of town. "Where's that blasted theater?" She was not accustomed to the hustle and bustle of such a large city. Sure, she worked in the city before, but she was raised there. Here, she was a stranger in a strange city. "Gotta get someplace warm!" She continued to make her way along the streets, unsure of where she was going. "Gotta find that stupid theater!"
  20. No, I'm happy with the loot. Lots of loot! Nothing overly special, but still, money makes the world.
  21. Karie walked out into the cold, deciding to take a stroll to the local theatre. She realized walking alone that she had left people back home, few of which she really cared for. Most were either in prison or dead. Others simply turned their backs on her, while some she cut ties to herself. Had she told anyone she was leaving for Eubric? Was there anyone to tell? She continued down the street, huddling herself for warmth. "What would mother think of this?" She thought. "Brain washed, and almost killed. She'd probably murder me." She continued on her way up to theater. "Mama Thinks I'm living in a barracks, A secluded little barracks In the province of Grovance. Mama Doesn't even have an inkling That I'm working in a nightclub In a pair of leather pants. So please, sir. If you run into my Mama, Don't reveal my indiscretion, Give a working guy a chance... Hush up, Don't tell Mama, Shush up, Don't tell Mama... Don't tell Mama, Whatever you do. If you had a secret, You bet I would keep it. I would never tell on you. You can tell my Papa, that's all right, 'Cause he comes in here every night, But don't tell Mama what you saw!" The Emcee is joined onstage by two other chorus girls, who join in on singing the song. "You can tell my Uncle Here and now 'Cause he's owns the place, anyhow, But don't tell Mama what you know! You can tell my brother, That ain't grim 'Cause if he squeals on me I'll squeal on him, But don't tell Mama, bitte, Don't tell Mama, please, Sir. Don't tell Mama, what you know. Sssh! Sssh! "If you see my, Mummy, Mum's the word!" The audience roars in applause.
  22. Spooky stuff guys!

  23. Thanks for the feedback Sandy. I'll keep your suggestions in mind from now on. I'll look into changing the drops and health accordingly.
  24. "Get off of me, Arnulf!" She forcefully moves him away from her. "And don't follow me, please!" She ran out of the bar.
  25. "Then he got what wanted." Karie stared off into the space in front of her. She slammed he fists on the bar. "Damn it! I feel wrong! I feel dirty! He said he'd use me and he did!" It was a combination of anger and sorrow in her voice. Tears were beginning to form in her eyes. She had heard Em but didn't care, she left the bar to be with herself, rushing out of the room.
