  1. Hey Endgame, are we ever going to see those dream sequences?
  2. Just pitched a new quest. It's got Shadeux rep, so I'll wait to ensure everyone who wants the rep gets on the quest! If we don't get a newbie quest soon, I could host this one later, but I'd rather wait and see what Flare's up to before then.
  3. "Well, I could attempt to put her to sleep. If everyone agrees I can give it a whirl. Although, I may need to swap out of this little number." She looks down at her dress. Karie grins, giggling to herself. "Figured as much."
  4. "Ah, inquisitive, aren't we? I thought you heroes would be quick to strike me down, but lo and behold, here you all are, curious as to my master's intent. It is not my place to speak of what my master's plans are, but why we are here: a test. You see if, all goes according to plan in the inner sanctum, the scale of the experiment could potentially be increased to widen it's effect. I suspect their almost done whatever it is their doing, so I'd suggest we hurry this up. I do love a good fight."
  5. Karie didn't know how to feel after the statue seemingly came to life for a brief second. Was there more to this guy? "True to his name as in he was very intelligent or very boring to be around?"
  6. Atramor? I got a few I have plans for, but nothing set in stone. Who's all in the hall? To be honest, 94's at the halfway point, it's a quick one but I assure you, bombshell coming up after the fight with Count von Zarovitch! I could run another quest if people are interested. The non-Shadeux one, that is.
  7. Karie looks back at the skeleton, a bit distraught. "What the hell was that?" It didn't matter much though, as she nearly got clubbed by a chair as she almost runs into Socha. "Okay, wow! Erik, you got that diplomacy thing, right? See if you can calm her down! We could always attempt to put her to sleep, but I don't know how effective that could be." She notice the statue in the wall, raising an eyebrow. "Let me guess, you talk too?"
  8. "Such strong devotion to one's cause, yeti. That is an admirable trait. And my blood, when I had blood, was also apparently very good. Strong, and bold." The count notices Eric's widening eyes, a look of amusement spreads across his face. "Nord blood. Ah, what a rare... commodity. You're people and their worship of Helvetia, it fascinates me. This city is ripe with chaos and bigotry, racism of all kinds. My employer wishes to see this cast aside and unite all peoples under one common thread. You are more than welcome to join us, Eric. Our goddess would be pleased with your action." Just then Throlar comes rushing down into the crypt, returning to the party. "More company. What a pleasant surprise."
  9. Thanks for the feedback, guys! It's really appreciated! I guess you could say that! Not at the moment, but I did have an idea to make a box car for one of my vampire coffins, and a cattle car for one of the smaller dinosaurs out of the Dino line. We'll see, it'll be a while off. Sure, go ahead! "I'd love to see the finished model!
  10. Karie looks the shaman over. One of the few people in the group she had neglected to speak with. "So, your name's Erik, right? What'd you think's going on here?"
  11. Hey guys! I got something I thought I'd show the community, since despite mainly being in the Heroica forum, I'm quite the avid Lego Train enthusiast, as well as an enthusiast of model trains in general. When I saw that Lego was releasing parts for a mermaid, in particular the legs, it got me thinking if I could use it somewhere on my layout. So, after a couple of months of ordering parts and a few design tweaks, I'm glad to present my take on an aquarium car! Here it is from the side! There's a bit of foliage inside to stimulate a water setting. Here it is from the back. It' the same on the other side. A view from the other side. Same as before. Fish out of water! You can make out the clear circle piece that the mermaid sit on to give somewhat of an illusion she's floating in water. So, what do you guys think?
  12. "Could someone close the door. Please? It's giving me the spooks." Karie stepped back from the door, leaning on the wall. "Well... shall we try the east wings first floor?"
  13. Karie rolls her eyes at Heckz comment on Sorrow as she looks over his whip. It sort of reminded her of the dullahan legends her adoptive father would tell her. She felt a tingle crawl up her back. As much as she loved being scared by those stories as a child, she never admitted they kept her up at night. "Heckz, might I enquire where you got that whip? It's quite curious. Although, not as curious as mine." She tightens her right hand as the tattoo on her arm swells and her palm becomes encased in black plasm. The tentacle like mass sloshes onto the floor, slowly dripping ink. "Not very stylish when it's tattooed on your arm, but effective in combat."
  14. The vampire grins, chuckling to himself. He crosses his arms, his armour clanging. "I am what you would call a "mercenary", but "mercenary who agrees with cause" is a bit better. I am here to guard the inner most part of the tomb to ensure my employer is not disturbed while she and her fellow Helvetian's perform a ritual. I care not for what kind of ritual, so long as I, Lord von Zarovitch are paid along with my men." "So eager for blood shed, are we? It's been a long time since I drank yeti's blood. Very strong, very thick. An acquired taste." von Zarovitch sneers. "Put the sceptre down before you poke your eye out, mage. This crypt? As in this specific coffin? No reason. There is no one of real importance buried here... perhaps. Our employer simply suggested to us to move ourselves down into this part of the tomb to buy her time should we fail. It's still quite a walk from here to the inner sanctum. Ah, but it sucks to be you, no? For you see, my men and I have what you need to continue forward. This is a dead end, after all. You'll need to go through me and men if you wish to enter the inner sanctum, and have even the slightest chance of stopping my employer. Now, I am a man of my word, and a man of honour. We both know how this is going to end. Prepare yourselves as you see fit. I have all the time in the world."
  15. Hehe, I got one of those in the works too!
  16. The Shadeux quest can definitely be shoved up the pipeline. I've also just realized a way for the Syndicate quest to include Shadeux rep and still be coherent, so there will be an opportunity for it. As well as any rep, if I can get it green lit!
  17. "Well, I don't know, it's just this is a thick wall of darkness. Usually there's some gradient to it, not a wall, so to speak. And not any of Sorrow's! For the record he's not some bone dispensing machine. He's actually a little fragile, to be honest."
  18. Your dentist is secretly Karie in disguise! Shhh! It's a secret to everyone!
  19. Alright, I'll see what I can do. I could probably work around it, since at this point really only the quest's beginning and ending are set in stone.
  20. Karie cringes as she looks into the darkness. "This ain't no ordinary darkness... this looks like something along the lines of Advanced Darkness." She gulps looking into the abyss. "Anyone got a light source? Like a diamond or something they want to use, because I am not going in there if there's no light source. We could get jumped by something, and I'd really appreciate not getting jumped by demons. Shall we check the lower levels then, 'cause I really don't like the feeling of this... whole hallway."
  21. Who said the Hinckwells were the only house being targeted by the Butcher of Eubric? The Four's Company sequel gets pretty intense. It's still a little ways off, but I've got some things planned for it. I don't think I could with the Syndicate, but it'll be light on the battles. Three tops, really. Hmm, I could, maybe. We'll see. HOWEVER, I do have a Shadeux quest in my backlog of over ten different quests that I'd like to host, and I could work on that sooner than later if we have heroes looking for Shadeux rep.
  22. Wow, Em's SP is amazing! I'd say your next acquirement should be a shield, even a half decent one. I'd even suggest swapping the Frost Helmet for the Anniversary Medal at this point, since there aren't a lot of ice enemy encounters, and the added HP would be really beneficial to you, what with Aura and all. It won't take you that long to get to level 20. Also, I guess I'll post this here, I got three quests in the works. A "Four's Company" sequel, the third instalment to the Haerasias's Vault arc, which will be up a little while after Baltarok finishes up, and hopefully the fourth instalment to the Syndicate arc!
  23. To the party of 94: Congrats on getting your Advanced class, emjajoas!
  24. Karie watches the party return with the boy's body, relieved. "Good to know that he's not damaged. So then, we've still got a lot of ground to cover. I suggest we head to the east wing and clear it next. Mr. Hawke has told me there's a map of the school in the Faculty Office's East wing. We should make that our next stop, honestly. We need to know this school's layout. Also, have we checked what's out behind the school's front doors? We could check those out too. There might be some students lingering out near the front."
  25. Throlar, angry with his fellow quest mates, decides to stay behind, his curiosity overwhelming him. He watches the light disappear, as he's left alone in the antechamber... OOC: Congrats mate, you've got yourself a little side quest. The candles glowed a cold blue, creating a dim light in the room, contrasting to the party's warm orangey hues emitting from their torch. However, it seemed the party was missing something, or rather, someone. "Hey, anyone see the dwarf?" Throlar had seemingly disappeared, and it couldn't have been at a worse timing. A voice bellowed through the room. "Halt where you are!" Three figures emerged from room, though the party could've sworn they weren't there a second ago. Faceless, skeletal beings contorted themselves out from the shadows to join them, made from a dense substance. The apparent ringleader lifts up his helmets visor with his skinny fingers, revealing a pale, snow white face with bloodshot eyes. He grinds his teeth, showing off his fangs. His two skeletal minions simply chuckle. "I do believe that's var enough, da? Don't want to get too close, my men and I do bite."
