She tried tapping her foot, but there was barely any room. She ran her hand through her hair, exhaling. "Okay, do you know someone named Monk Pretzel?"
  2. Karie snags the dwarf by the collar, trying to get him to stay. "Excuse him, Calamity, he can be... um, rude. If you don't mind, I'm going to take him off to discipline, I want you to stay here and mingle with everyone else, kay?" Karie budges out of her seat and drags the dwarf off to the downstairs of the hall, passing a beehived woman and one of the veterans talking to a winged woman. Karie gave little mind to it and dragged the dwarf into a broom closet where she snuck in too. It was cramped and dark, with the only light coming through a few slits in the door. Karie let go of the dwarf and rubbed her head, looking worried. "What the hell do we do? A demon worshipper? Here?" She asked the dwarf in a hushed, yet still loud tone.

  4. QM Note: Okay, so I'm going to fix last rounds issue, then run round 2. Thanks for being patient guys! EDIT: Okay, so here's the changes in the stats, since it's important. Lind is now stunned, but dealt QUADRUPLE damage to Kaz, seeing how his silly whip is both dark and light. The dark is cancelled out by Kaz's dark type, meaning it does normal damage... but she's also weak to light, so coupled with Lind's encouraged he dealt 96 damage... I'm almost positive it's now fixed in this regard. Also, Lind can technically keep all his loot if he wished to be a greedy munchkin. Siercon is indeed back to full health, but due to taking damage he's at 11 health now. And I believe that's it. On with the round! Thankfully his armour can take enough of a beating to withstand the fire and Gik's persistent smashing. Purpearl fires another lightning bolt at the Destroyer, this time hitting it's mark, sending sparks and electricity through the machine, making it stutter! Sorsha smashes her target, only to be nicked by one of the Others. Matthias heals Siercon back to full health, on for Siercon to get injured again. The battle continues!   5. Honestly, I find fighting the least attractive thing about this game. I enjoy it, but not as much as character interaction, and while you can get it in fights, often the roleplaying is just "Whatshisnose attacks monster from the back with fury and power." Different strokes, I suppose.
  6. Alright, I've got an issue, and it's solution is unfortunately not more cow bell. I've been trying to make a Minstrel figure for when Karie gets access to the class, but I've hit a brick wall. Sort of literally. I can't find any good pieces, and the ones I'm using I've already used for other NPCs. So if anyone's got an idea for Minstrel Karie that's not her in the Harley Quinn outfit, I'd appreciate seeing it.

  10. I've never heard someone being called by their middle name. Maybe it's Canadian thing. You're sounding wishy washy and unsure. I like the name Amelia. I wish I named either Karie or Annienal Amelia, but I didn't. I wish I had made different decisions on quest, but here I am. I've scrapped things for my characters, but I keep playing as them. It's a little frustrating watching someone push "mulligan" over and over again. Name's are important, but actions are more so. I don't care what you do with Mhinak, or Ahzruakhal, or whatever his name may be, but you're never going to get the full enjoyment of a roleplaying game if you continually start over.

  15. I kind of figured that was the case, and I do enjoy the scenario, but at the same time sometimes you have take what you can, and tweak it to the setting. Although perhaps Scubacarrot is right, it was just jarring, especially since Sandy has ruled against it. If he gives the okay though, I'm all for it. Apologies for perhaps being hasty.

Even if they were miniature hand cannons, they're still out of place since they've never been introduced by the Tritech Corporation or the Bonapartes, who would be the two groups who would invent such an item. They easily could've wielded crossbows, bows or heck, they could've been mages slinging fireballs or lightning. (Actually... that would be really cool, I may have to remember that. ) I don't want to get completely negative on Lind, but I would recommend he change it to one, or even a few of the three.

Matthais readies his Cannonball Extraordinaire, only to find Gik charge him! The miniature robot, about the same size of the druid, begins viciously beating on him, electrical surges digging into him with every punch. It'd been awhile since she talked to a newer hero in full conversation.
  25. Fair point. What if the dragon starts at level 30, no matter what level the hero enter the class at. The dragon levels up similarly to how normal heroes do, so when it reaches level 40, it gains an elemental ability, at 50 it carries the rider, at 60 the party as opposed to it carrying the same level as the hero? Or is that too complicated?
