Are these coming out in the UK in April like they are in the rest of the world, or will we have to wait until a later date for these stunning sets? I'm only wondering because, when the London Toy Fair happened, some of the people who reported on it (can't remember who exactly) stated that The Lone Ranger sets weren't coming to the UK until the Summer, which would be highly disappointing if true when you consider that everyone else is going to be able to get these sets in April.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion
Lord Rahl of Clannad replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Only Mr. Gold's bio is up as of yet. The other bios should come very soon. As for the impending release of this series, it is, for me, a slight concern because I still haven't completed Series 9 yet and don't get many opportunities to be specific with which ones I get, so I hope that these aren't released until May in the UK as was originally stated.- 1,076 replies

Well, if these are starting to appear in stores, it shouldn't be long before Whitefang's inevitable review comes up. From the images above, these minifigures look to be very impressive.- 1,076 replies

Changes in a set design after it's released ? This is very weird indeed. Do things like that happen often (or at all, for that matter)?

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

With the UK release of Man of Steel sets (April) looming on the horizon, I'm very surprised that no box pictures have emerged for any sets apart from 76002. I suppose that DC don't want TLG to provide movie spoilers with box art pictures, which makes it seem like an odd decision to release the Man of Steel sets in April when the movie isn't out until June. Very odd... -
The Hobbit movies discussion

Is that a bad thing ? I always found Bruce from Finding Nemo to be a very amusing character without overdoing it. The Goblin King wasn't bad but he wasn't good either. His "humour" was quite cringeworthy and a tad annoying IMO. Oh well, he was only a small threat on the journey and he won't be returning, so it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. -

^ I just came back from seeing Oz: The Great & Powerful at the cinema. I was far more impressed than I expected to be. Another great film by Disney! -
LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion

I'm pretty sure that the New York Toy Fair showed a poster that stated that there would be more Hobbit sets in December this year. It will be interesting to see when TLG release the There & Back Again sets now that the movie has been moved 6 months forwards.- 7,499 replies

I originally thought that having Spidey join the Avengers would be a good idea, but this idea is so much better for his character! After all, Spidey is always looking out for the people so it would make sense for him to save them rather than help the Avengers fight and destroy the city (unintentionally) in their battle.

I'm not sure, but people on here seemed to think so. I hope that it was legit rather than an elaborate hoax.- 7,499 replies

The 1968 version of Planet of the Apes at school. For a film released at that time, the quality is very impressive. The costumes of the apes is probably the worst part, but they aren't too bad. A good film, with an excellent ending. -

I highly doubt that we are spoiling anything to anyone who is reading this topic. While there is a possibility, I don't think that it is very likely. I generally expect Fili and Kili to do; I doubt that even Peter Jackson would change that. If he did, that would completely mess up the continuity of it all. -
Hopefully we will get the pictures of these at a similar time (though hopefully earlier) then. I seriously hope that these minifigures will be worth the wait.

I hope that these sets last on shelves longer than the 2nd wave of Kingdoms did, because I won't be able to get all the sets I want in 6 months. I will need more time than that to get the ones I desire, especially 70403 Dragon Mountain. I guess that we'll just have to wait and see how long this wave of sets lasts when it is released.

Let's hope that he posts his review soon so that we can find out. I want to see these minifigures in reality rather than CGI, which is what WhiteFang's review will provide when it eventually arrives. All we can do is wait and see for now.- 1,076 replies

Ah. That makes sense. I think that it was clever because it was a very subtle way of hinting at Captain America's own film. I'll be sure to watch Captain America: The First Avenger at some point to pick up on its easter eggs. Anyways, the last film that I watched was Rise of the Planet of the Apes. To me, this film could easily have a sequel that expands on things and better leads up to The Planet of the Apes. Still a pretty good film though. -

I said May because, until we get more information about this, I am going to presume that it will be released with the rest of the LOTR wave or shortly afterwards. Hopefully we will get more solid information (a release date would help) soon.- 7,499 replies

Because it is an exclusive, we will probably still be waiting several months before we see or hear anything more about Orthanc. The earliest we could expect a picture of Orthanc is in May, though it is equally possible that we will have to wait even longer than that.- 7,499 replies

Well, we have confirmation for Ant-Man, and that seems to be in phase 3. But it doesn't matter much to me that we haven't got any information about a possible Dr. Strange movie yet. After all, there's plenty to look forward to until phase 3 comes around (Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers 2 from phase 2 alone, and then there is Ant-Man to start phase 3).

Has there been any confirmation about a release date (or anything, really) for the Dr. Strange movie that is rumoured to come after The Avengers 2? I really hope that it happens, as Dr. Strange is a pretty cool character IMO and he is one that I would love to see in a movie (and as a LEGO minifigure).

I was pretty sure that we saw Series 8 pictures in July. I would expect, more realistically, to see pictures in July for this series as well. Though I do hope that we do not have to wait so long to see the picture of this series as we did for the picture of Series 8.

Iron Man and Iron Man 2 in preparation for Iron Man 3. I was able to pick up on the stuff that I missed when I first watched them (such as Black Widow's identity in Iron Man 2 and the Ten Rings in Iron Man, as well as the references to the Thor film in Iron Man 2), thus making the films all the more enjoyable. Over a month to go now until Iron Man 3. *EDIT* There is one thing I don't get in Iron Man 2. Why on earth does Tony Stark have Captain America's shield in Iron Man 2 when he is making his new arc reactor with the particle collider?
