  1. Cool light and I always give my compliments for the classic pirates LEGO vibe
  2. Thanks for the positive comments, this community is the best. Soon you will see the final battle!
  3. Great effort and I especially like that you keep your options open by adding multiple tales mixed with a very nice tavern scene. The hidden room is very cool as well!
  4. This is Category B of the Dark Secrets on the ÃŽle d'Or - Era II, Challenge II. For my Cat. A, check this link. Log of Lothario Fraunces We headed into the jungle with nothing more than our curiosity and bravery hoping for treasures to be found on the famous ÃŽle D'Or. Instead of the promise in the name of the island we did not find gold, we found marks of blood in the jungle, fresh marks with strange footprints leading to an odd gate which big statue of an unknown beast. The corpses were eaten from and remains were found all over the place. We have seen some strange particularities on the Brick Seas so far, but this was truly breathtaking. I ordered the men to bring down this demonic statue and bury the corpses in the hole so that what ever was bringing its prizes to this place would be startled. I also did it out of a religious sentiment inherited from my mother. No man should be left to rot out here in a forsaken jungle. We scouted the area and looked further for the 'terror of the jungle'. ----------------------------------------------------------
  5. Very cool build, characters and of course the story. Furtermore, a very good selection of parts used in this build I think.
  6. Both amazing ships and very inspirational for all of us shipwrights
  7. Simple and good looking.
  8. Amazing build. I love the details like firespitters and the clocktower makes it very imposing. Chapeau for this one, although I also like the first brewery you tagged in this post, which has the classic pirates vibe more. But this one is much more suiting for our Sea Rats capital.
  9. I really like the insides and the work you put in to make it really playable. I also like the guns on this ship. I do however think the bow+figurehead, the colours and the masts are a little blocky and unrealistic.. The longboats on deck are a nice addition but due to them being prefabs the backsides are so open, it would be much cooler if you would made two custom longboats to polish this effect away. I do see a lot of progress in your shipbuilding cause I have been looking at all the unread topics of the last two years BotBs , your building motivation is inspiring and every MOC gets better, so keep up the the progress
  10. First off, thank you all for the positive feedback! & The perfect place to hear some rumors and enjoy some of the Brick Seas delights at the same time! Thanks for the compliments guys! I tried to give this MOC a sunny-jungle/Caribbean feeling and when my white background failed horribly last time to create some ambiance this was a much better option. The baseplate I had lying around for so long and I always wanted to use it once, so this challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity.
  11. Much to like! It is quite and easy build but you managed to make it lively by adding nice minifigs and all of the different animals!

  13. Large Artisan (32*64 studs) Mabo's brothel with bar and terrace:
  14. Log of Lothario Fraunces I convinced my brothers and the crew of the ship to go to Île D'Or. The promise of gold, pearls and the beckoning glory upon saving the population of Fatu Hiva was enough to keep the spirits during the journey high. It also was my chance to prove myself as the captain of the Octopus. Days turned into weeks and after a pleasant journey without much trouble we reached the island and anchored the ship just outside the harbor. I send the crew into the town to enjoy themselves and just outside the town center we found a very nice brothel, run by and islander named Mabo. His brothel offered services many colonists and sailors longed for after weeks on sea and therefore his business flourished. This man surely would know what was going on in the jungle, so I asked. Mabo: "Je ne sais pas. Je ne parle pas du monstre. Malheur! Recherche toi-même." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some more pictures: And the inside: Thanks for viewing and C&C is always welcome.
  15. Très bien I really like the sport yacht and the beach+nature layout.
  16. Thanks! Today I took some more pictures, from the backside: The captains cabin And the gun deck, opened cargo haul + the sleeping quarter.
  17. The color-scheme, story and development is great. Keep up the good work.
  18. Cool shot. What photoshotprogram are you using?
  19. Cool builds and a very clever and perfectly fitting story. I too, have to re-evaluate my entry now
  20. I like the classic-pirates vibe this ship has. Captain Merker does look very familiar however
  21. I really love this ship. Exactly how I like them. Very realistic and especially the stern is very nicely done I think. Only the bow could use more details.
  22. I like the entire build very much except for the black door with the gold knot, just does not really fit with the rest.
  23. Nice builds, the vegetation and the diagonal grounds make the build very neat. The buildings look nice as well although you forgot a clear image of the blue one
  24. Looks very convivial Captain Braunsfeld. Certainly worth a visit
  25. Do you have an example maybe of what you mean with a bow/stern made with use of hinge plates? You always need a monkey on your ship
