I'm still in (2 ppl). As for the meeting point: We're going to travel around South England the entire week by rental car. So, for us it would be easier to meet at the hotel (or wherever we're staying) instead of going to LHR and back to Windsor. As for what we'll do: I think I can live with one full day at the park and leave the rest of the time open for other stuff (blasphemy, I know ). I'm not beating around the bush that it also depends whether we'll get a group discount for the pass. As for Sunday: We'll leave Sunday evening from LHR, which means we'll have to leave Windsor around 3pm. Long story short: where are we staying, what is the general plan for what we'll be doing there, and what will the pass cost? I do have my plane tickets already so I'm not in a hurry here

News from Brickjournal #3, Jake's Key Notes, starting at page 88: In short, the 9V system will stay alive as "Hobby Train System" next to the new "Play Train System", and a Train Factory will start some time this year. The Brickjournal can be downloaded as pdf from legofan.org. Phew, lucky us train heads

Awesome  Another town theme gallery I like: Antony Lau's Cars

Yep, those pics were already posted: other thread. Although the thread title didn't give it away

The "eurobricks.com" link on the top left (right beneath the logo) has a wrong hyperlink. I like it that it's there, I was missing it on the old forum cos I usually "enter" EB through the forum and there was no "easy" way to get to the homepage except through my bookmarks (lazy me, I know)

It looks like photos from Nuremberg are appearing . . .

Yep, the wheels are too far apart. The tow contraption looks very interesting, though. With a few more basic bricks (I especially don't like the wheelguard) it'll make a perfect mix of Technic and Model Team. I must say that I like the tractor (except for the wheelguard again). Sure it can use a few mods here and there but as something to start with I like it. But maybe that's because where I grew up we had lots of those in that weird green color As for the trains I'm not sure yet. The "crocodile" looks better "in real life" than on the boxes, though... Thanks for the pix, sam! -
I've seen both creations before - pretty amazing. Though I've stopped wondering about where ppl get those amounts of bricks or plates Then I stumbled upon this impressive way of using SNOT technique for a brick wall:  The picture looks rendered but it's an actual model and he has built it. Read about it here. I think there's sort of an instruction somewhere, also. Can't find it right now...

In the morgue in the basement, of course. You can't see it in the pics, though...

Read it in his Blog.

So, you're old, too, now... well, happy birthday, then

Nah, that's Mac Taylor

That's true. But that's your controls, the public can't see that. If I view your profile I can't see your e-mail address, not even when logged in.

Welcome to EB! Uh... how many days do you work in a week? Cos for a 14 yo earning $10 an hour I wouldn't consider you poor PS: One topic's enough

I still see that link, without the e-mail address. The only e-mail address I see is the MSN user name...

B-PV-3E Found a nice looking, big Police Center: I especially like the "CSI-laboratory" on the second floor in the middle

The prologue sounds an awful lot like "Reign of Fire"... Still, intriguing idea placing a LOTR-like world in our future. Usually those are placed some time long ago in our past...

Happy Birthday! You're the stars today, don't let anybody tell you different. So, relax, enjoy and boss everybody else around (that's fun)

Cool, gotta save some money. Advent/Christmas's here faster than you think...

The whole model is kinda... well... not at all what I expected. It says "preliminary image" on the box so I hope it's phase 1 of 1000. To become my first ever UCS buy it has to be a WHOLE LOT better than that...

Jesus, this thing is big! :oo I've seen some pics already but never someone actually holding it: (click for huge pic!) Whoa, too big for me, no buy *wacko* That's what disturbs me, too, but considering the size I wonder if they'll hold if the "contact area" shrinks. Somehow I have the feeling there's a reason for the wings being one part... But I'll look forward to your pics ;)

At least there's a second engine with the ICE. I hope they offer the waggon seperately, though, like 10158. The cargo train looks ok. Although I must say that the accessories look more intriguing at first glance. Then again, I didn't like 4512 the first time I saw it, either. I got to like it the more often I saw it. Maybe it's the same here. I read somewhere that the track will come in packs of 16 for the same price as the current packs of 8. The amount of track in the sets seems fair considering they're supposed to be starter sets aimed at people not having trains at home yet. There's one point and three curves more in the cargo set IIRC, and 4 straights more in the ICE set. The latter is refreshing since circles are the most boring train layout. With the rails being entirely plastic the price shouldn't be higher than

I didn't open this thread to spam. I never did, I never will. After welcoming out latest member I just noticed my count (which I rarely look at) and decided to post some comment about it. Over what others do I have no influence. Next time I reach a "funny-looking" number I'll keep it to myself and just make a screenshot ;) As for zero-ing the count: I don't mind or care. I could get to 666 again, though *twisted* :P

Right, once I posted my second post and knew I'd get close I only worked toward that goal. And now that I have achieved it I can.... umm... I think I don't have a goal anymore... maybe I should try and catch up to Phes or something... I'm gonna ponder that for a while...
