  1. mister_phes, you're starting to scare me: you knew that I had some Pirates sets stored away that weren't visible in my brickshelf pictures. And now you know that I'm going to buy another Pirates set? How do you do that? Magic? Or even the Force (admit it, Yoda taught you!)? Matter of factly, I already bought it... Shall I contribute to the "Guess What I Got In The Mail Today?"-Thread when it arrives (although it seems you don't like those threads ;))?
  2. I noticed that yesterday when I watched Episode III. He's really mean ;) that is scary... :o
  3. ".at" is austria ;)
  4. The sets are sold :)
  5. Hi all, while sorting my stuff I came across some sets from the "Aqua Dome Series" and was wondering if somebody here could use them. I just can't fit them in my layout and can't really use all the special bricks since I have enuff already. The sets are 6195, 3x 6175 (one with 2 or 3 replaced pieces), 6145, 6135 and 6155. You can see the pictures here. All sets come with their original instructions (only 1 for the three 6175!), 6145 comes with a color printout. Bricks are used but in good condition. I don't have the boxes anymore. I thought I'd ask here before I auction them off on ebay. Asking price is 45 Euros for all of them plus shipping (will ship anywhere). So, if anyone's interested PM me or send an e-mail :)
  6. A desastrous attempt by TLC at getting into the action figure segment. It was stopped before it really started... See Gal... i... do.... r... (having trouble writing it... fingers don't want... to type... that name...)
  7. Short list but I do have pirates: 6265 Sabre Island (not sure about that) 6276 Eldorado Fortress 6277 Imperial Trading Post (with box, quite worn) I'd like to add an SES but they're hard to find, and if, quite expensive...
  8. mister_phes, I wouldn't call you insane, I'd go for determined ;) I already read your thread and it reminded me of a local ebay seller who I bought a few town sets from. He had every single Pirates set that ever existed. He was just missing one Islanders mini-fig (or whatever they were called). That collection was quite impressive - but I'm sure you know what a complete Pirates line looks like ;) As for trains: I registered as the 359th member - and there's only one more train enthusiast here? :o ;)
  9. Thanks! That unpacking will be "interesting" - as in lotsa work ;) I hope I'll make the event, I just have to find a reasonable way of transportation which ain't that easy from the looks of it... *wacko*
  10. I already posted more in my first two days here than on other message boards where I'm registered (not all LEGO related, though). Yes, I already feel comfortable here :-D
  11. Yes, Calvin and Hobbes is right. And yes, them sausages would be from here. Funny you ask since I had a couple for lunch today ;)
  12. Hi, since I just recently registered here (see this thread) I missed all the deadlines to "register" for the event. But since it's not all that far from where I live I'd like to know if this event is "open to the public"? Meaning, can I come visit like a fair or the like? I would take care of transportation and hotel myself. How much would a ticket to the event be? I somehow couldn't find an "answer" reading through all the threads regarding the event. Thanks for any information :)
  13. Good morning and thanks for the welcome(s)! I wouldn't say I prefer castle but I do have a few sets (although they're not on the pictures). My favorite theme are trains, I have a few Pirates sets also. What I like about those two non-train themes is that I used to mix 'em into my early train "layouts" (if you can call them that) - and it somehow fit! Completely different timeline but it didn't matter. So my pirates were holding up trains and the knights came to the rescue or vice versa ;) No, you're definitely not alone, my back tells me everyday (from crawling around on the floor sorting bricks)... but I'm so shy... :$ Thanks!
  14. Hi all, my name's Martin, I'm in my early 30's and I live in Austria's capital. I've been roaming the internet for LEGO related stuff and just stumbled over this site (after finding lots of US-based platforms) and decided to register :) The day before yesterday I've set up a brickshelf gallery. There ain't many pictures yet but I do have one of my collection after unpacking most of my boxes (I just moved): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=129844 I think you can guess my favorite theme ;) Well, enough yada-yada (for now). Greetings from Vienna, Martin/Hobbes
