Cool, I think the finished product will look even better, especially with some good stickers ( which you'll probably make)

I love it. My parent's owned one once, I was about the age of 1 or something. I would love to have one (real and the lego version). -
I think these are for the class first and second class (perhaps even a third) but not for the coaches.

Okay then there is no problem for me and in the lugs where I participate it sadly isn't common that people have a shared layout.

Cool engine, can't wait for the carriages. It is always annoying when you completely rebuild an engine to discover the problem is in one of the carriages.
-
That's pretty cool.

Thanks I already took care of the shortcuts with some Powerfunction tracks. I was already planning that. Could you say how long a long train is? My trains are at maximum 34 studs long

Hey Joe's Layout - Comments and Suggestions?
UrbanErwin replied to Hey Joe's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I looks like a fun layout. you also could modify some straights and make them shorter. It will look better than flextrack. -
Thanks. Did you showed somethinv there as well? Are you going to legoworld too? I will make a new tread for the next layout.

Thanks I've teamed up with another builder for a big convention in fall 2013 (LegoWord Utrecht) and he already has done the bit that will connect to my part. And building is what I'm doing it for not keeping it in a box or something like that. BTW here are the plans (sorry only dutch available but Ive translated it on flickr) Planning LegoWorld Utrecht (NL) 2013 by UrbanErwin(EPJL), on Flickr
