    So here's my Wip for the GNAR. The front hull is done, I'm waiting to place an order to finish up the back/tweak the rest. I'd really appreciate it if you'd leave some feedback regarding proportions and sail set ups. I have since changed the figure head. The preliminary mast here is just a place holder. And here's the updated figurehead. I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. This is my first ship, so I'm pretty unsure how to go about doing this. Also, Gylden Abiron means Golden Revolution in old English.

    Thank Cheeses! I was thinking the same thing, I feel like if GoH ever shut down, the fans would keep it alive themselves. I'm worried about losing people too.. I'm not really interested in the pirate era, but I can definitely see how it could work if the two universes were sufficiently different.

    Ok now I'm really scared about GoH closing down/challenges stopping/etc. I'm also worried about the creation of a so called "Ultimate Game" that some members are lobbying that combines the pirates and castle. I feel like that would kill the world we've all worked so hard to create.

    So I've been reading the replies about the Guils of the Brick Seas over on the pirates forum, and honestly, I'm not sure why they think GoH is so confusing! Several people over there said that was what turned them away from it. I never thought it was too complex for rookies, and is joined at the end of Book I.

    I don't know when it will start, I'm assuming soon, but I do know how they work. There will be two teams, on side the rebels, the other, the loyal Avalonians. If you're an Avalonian you get to pick which side you want, if you're in the other three guilds you are assigned a side. There are three categories, with different size limits. You build for one (or all) and then they are scored/voted on. (that's the part I'm not sure about) Then whichever side wins the most categories wins the war. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thanks! I plan to! First I'm going to order some trans-black bricks to make water, so I can include underwater sections.

    I use plain black, but I've considered using Darth Maul's or the v-wing pilot's as well.
