  1. When the inner sanctum of Albion was built, a man and his wife decided to build a stables to house the horses of all the nobles, dignitaries, ambassadors and jesters that came to visit. As time went on, bigger and better stables were built elsewhere, and their business slowed down considerably. However, due to the recent conflicts, business is picking up again, and the stables are usually full. On the corner of the building are some wandering priests. Like the Sparrows in GoT, they are urging all anointed knights to join together to drive the Drow out of Avalonia. It seems someone has gotten into the wine storage... I'd been putting it off for a while. This was really fun to build, and I enjoyed it immensely. However, I'm glad to be done. This is plot 4 on the Albion map, but I can't seem to link to that. Anyways, C&C is welcome, and I'd like to request the following credits: Interior design City scene As always, more pictures on my Flickr.
  2. You might want to mention that the gunpowder is very unstable. I think that's what we've done in the past.
  3. Thanks! Thanks a lot! That's my favorite part, glad someone noticed! Thanks! I didn't just want to do a boring wall of bricks so this was born.
  4. Wow! This is nice. I like all the barrels and the attention to detail.
  5. I agree with Scaevola, he might get crushed!
  6. Be my guest!
  7. Yes, and also to goad it in the right direction. They use a similar thing with elephants I believe. Thanks! Thanks! Yeah, I'd have to agree. I'll take that claim out. Thanks! Means a lot.
  8. Fantastic! Great Moc, and excellent write up.
  9. Nice ship!
  10. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=94864&st=0#entry1876836 My WotB field piece is up.
  11. As the fellowship from Burnby was heading south to Kaliphlin, the encountered a band of goblins. The goblins had learned to domesticate the ogres that lived in the caves they inhabited, and use them for war. At first the goblins attacked, but after the group told them of their quest, they talked it over and decided that there would probably be loot. Always hungry for gold, the agreed to send one of their ogres, a handler, and an archer along. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my field piece entry for the War of the Brothers. Here's some basic instructions:
  12. Ok that's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure. I'll get a base made and take some decent pictures then get it up.
  13. Ok then, I was going to use a yeti, but I won't. Also, some goblins the group encountered in the way heard there'd be loot, and decided to tag along. (Not sure if this would count for Field Pieces) On the back of their ogre beast, they can rain down arrows. However, only two fit, and one has to steer so... Yeah. An inside shot. It's pretty simple really. If you need more instructions tell me. Also, I almost forgot. CANNON FODDER!! Though I guess it'd actually be arrow fodder but the same principle applies. Smallfolk and peasants that hopped on the journey hoping to win honor and glory, these are just a fraction of the host of farmers and other civilians that tagged along. Very few have actual weapons.
  14. Nice! The figs look good, and I like the armband idea.
  15. Declaring for Dugal, and posing photogenically in front of my previously un photographed Albion build, two separate groups come together to fight for Historica. The Sunburst clan, which is based in Burnby, sends a small squad. Elvrich leads them, on his golden chariot. He brings two heavy infantry and two light infantry. (Spearmen) Also come Balgruff the Brown, the cleric of the Divine Father. He also brings his Pegasus, Othor, who is capable of fighting on his own, though the two are strongest when they are together. Balgruff can call on Divine Might to smite up to 5 enemies, but only once a day. He also has other minor magic and healing spells. Lastly are the Redmen. A group of people from all walks of life, they are united only by their piety to the Divine Mother. They are devoted to spreading peace, even through war, and will only kill if they have to. They will not kill unarmed prisoners, instead preferring to show the Mother's mercy. The lower members often hide their faces during battle, to remind themselves that the highest calling is peace. The mounted archers pictured here are peasants who joined to repel the unholy drow. Their horses are swift, but they are relatively bad shots. Also pictured is the Paladin Romak Norr, and the wandering priest/cleric/mage Bart Redson, who recruited them. He may also call on Divine Might, with the same limitations as Balgruff. EDIT: All these people can die. However, the named characters would fight to the death, with the lower ranking Redmen being the most likely to run, and the heavy infantry being the least.
  16. Nice! It seems like the door is a bit low though.
  17. I like it, but the bush is a little weird. The sand green is pretty cool though.
  18. First off, wow. And second, no it's more like this: http://cache.lego.com/media/nxtlog/fb1672d1-80b2-4311-bd1a-57842c914084/800x600/GalleryFile.jpg http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=377328&id=/user_images/84200/1388102623m Those aren't really the examples I was planning on, but I can't seem to find the one I want. I'm looking for more of a boulder type rock than a cliff face.
  19. Would anyone care to attempt to tech me the basics of panel rockwork? Or just post a shot of the inside workings?
