Oops, my mistake. Why not both? If for example the Greeks are to be released in 2011? This sounds realistic to me. With the camper it is possible there will be more sets in the same style. Beach is not the same as holiday, but it's very close, I think.

Greeks sound great to me, maybe too great to be true. But you never know, there have been great unexpected things before. I think there will be more trains or related sets. Maybe an extra car for the Emerald Night. A station, a freight train. I don't think Castle will be discontinued. Maybe not new sets, but the current sets still available. As for TECHNIC I think there will be a big studless set. For more studded parts we have to wait till 2011 (2005 there was 8421, 2007 the 8275 and 2009 the 8265 will be released).

I read every part of Kdog's Space Comic. I also read Disney comics drawn by Carl Barks, and the Lucky Luke comics.

Wow. That's an awesome ship you built. I like the curved stairs.

About the chair: maybe it's supposed to be a rocking chair. I voted "good". It's nice for it's size, but I think the jail is a strange thing. Because it's a seperate building, everyone can get to it unnoticed. And give the prisoner a gun. I noticed the lookout, but it's still more logical if the jail was in the office itself. Great review!

I partly agree with you. There are too many CW and EU sets released already. Almost every vehicle from the OT has been released as a set, but I think there are many sets that can be improved, like the blue TIE fighters. If I look at Vader's one, the other TIE's could get the same improvement. And I would like to see an AT-ST Hoth version, in the style of the one in the Endor playset.

I don't think so. I would like to see it, but I think the time of re-releases is history.

@Klaus-Dieter: I think you mean 10193? 10188 is the Death Star play set. . I agree. As a kid I played a lot with Playmobil. And I'm still sad about the fact my mother have let other (not very careful) kids play with it, destroying my forklift truck. I'm 20, but the detail of the sets keep me interested in it. I still look somethimes what's in the shop. And I understand adults who collect it. Are there not many AFOLs who collect LEGO? Not only themes with a higher age like TECHNIC. The AFOL community is not only about building and designing. Maybe in the future I collect Playmobil as well. The new mobile crane would be a great succeedor to the one I now have. I don't think Playmobil rules TLC out. Maybe in design, but these two brands are totally different concepts. Playmobil is not a construction toy.

Another idea for a "green" car (although I think "brown" is a better word): Chocolate-powered racing car.

I have a DS Lite and a notebook. If I ever buy a new computer, I don't buy a console, but a desktop. Or, if mine's broken, a new notebook. If I have to buy a console, I think it would be the Xbox 360 Elite. At least not the Wii. Nice to move with your legs and arms, but I think besides of that it's no match for the 360 and PS3.

I doubt if electrical cars can really be called "green". Where is the electricity generated? In a power plant. Yes, I know about solar-, wind- and nuclear energy, but that's only a small part of the total. However, the image of electrical cars is good. And I don't mind if I get a Tesla for my birthday, if it's a real one or a LEGO one.

Pirates. Why? Because Star Wars is developed by George Lucas, not TLC. The sets are based at a movie (not counting the EU/CW sets). TLC couldn't design things like torsos if they weren't movie-accurate. With the Pirates-theme, they were able to do much more because it didn't need to be historical accurate. Besides of that, I think there are only a few good Galactic Empire sets, but almost every Pirates set is great, including the Imperials sets (not counting the new line, that's only useful for parts and figs IMHO).

I don't own any of them unfortunately. But I think which one I would buy. -10179 looks the best. But for this one, you need a lot of space and a small fortune. And this is more for display use, because of it's size. -4504 looks better than 7190. From the more or less "playable" Falcons, I would prefer this one. -The midi version looks the baddest. But it's also the cheapest. I would say, the most expensive, the best.

-8421 -6209 And many other sets. I think I didn't buy big sets before 1997, and many of my most wanted sets are older. Before 1997 I got some sets for my birthday, but one big set in a year is not enough for a greedy person like me. I now wish I hadn't buy those small sets, but save my money for big ones, like the LEGOREDO fortress. I really want some other sets as well, which were discontinued before I was old enough, including 6542, 6081 and 6399. However, it was impossible to buy them, since they were no longer available when I got money. Now they are available at Bricklink, but way too expensive. Especially the Airport Shuttle. Many of the old dark grey 9V tracks. Many of the baseplates from 2002 I think, with wide road and grass. And the 10128 for the parts. Fo the rest, I refer to Queen: I want it all I want it all I want it all.....and I want it now!

Really recognizable! Great job!

Why havent they resurrected the robin hood series?
Rijkvv replied to The Chronicler's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
In 1996 there were some Dark Forest sets released, a sort of Forestmen theme. But there were only three sets, and I think these were very rare, at least in Europe. I never saw them, I discovered them at Peeron. But why did LEGO not continue this line, and did they only release three sets? -
Good non-studless set?

Oops, I meant studless. -

I think you can call the 8275 not entirely studless. The blade and ripper are studded. Also the 8421 has still a lot of studded parts. Also the not yet released 8265 Front Loader has some studded parts. But the main frame of these three sets is still studless. -
I doubt TLG will do that. And íf they re-release some sets, please do a better job than the Century Skyway. That set had too many changes in parts and colours. The Metroliner and Club Car only had minor changes, and I believe the Western sets had no changes at all. If the 6090 will be released that way, I tink it will be successful. Looks like a great idea. But I think it will not happen. With classic design you mean like the designs of the earlier LEGO castles? Maybe. I'm not sure if TLC releases a castle like this if there's still a Fantasy Era castle for sal. But if it's succeedor don't have skeletons or a dragon, who knows what will be released. I never expect TLG to release a set like the MMV. This sounds the most likely to me. Unfortunately.

I have at least 151. Brickset says 149, but not every set has a fig-inventory.

I waited for the new Star Wars sets if I were you. Should I buy the 6769 Fort LEGOREDO or the 6090 Royal Knights Castle?

An AT-ST Hoth version. Yes, I know there already have been two AT-STs (not counting the UCS one) and one is included in the Endor set, but there has never been a Hoth version. The 2007 one was a big improvement in comparison with the first one, but the 2009 one looks much better. I think the AT-ST deserves his own set, instead of being a part of a bigger set. And well, if there becomes a seperate AT-ST, make it a Hoth version, then it is still original.

Welcome to EB! And really, this crane is awesome!

Is there any kind of multi-tack standard for trains?
Rijkvv replied to Madcat2000's topic in LEGO Town
The Dora and Gustav were transported with special trains, the detachment assembled them at the place of use.
