Great job. It would be a great official set if it was released. However, I agree with Athos about the roof.

What parts do you wish were on PaB online?

A medieval helmet, don't really matter which one. I think there is still not a medieval helmet on PaB. -

This MOC reflects my personal opinion about Power Miners... Very nice! -

It seems the king doesn't live that long... Nice vignette!

Welcome to EB Siegfried! I know about names. My name is Rijk, my father's name is Rijk, my grandfather's name was Rijk, and my great-grandfather's name was Rijk. I have some cousins with Rijk as their Christian name, and my father has some cousins with Rijk as their first name. You see, the chosen names in my family are not very original. It's really confusing when my mom calls Rijk, and both my dad ánd I answer... And no, if I ever become a dad, there is no way I ever name my child "Rijk".

What do you want to see in the next round of the new line?
Rijkvv replied to martinsuper's topic in LEGO Pirates
A Dutch faction or just only a VOC ship would be nice... however it's not likely TLC will release that. A big coastal fortress, the new soldiers' fort looks more like a harbour to me. And of course an imperial flagship, te bigger, the better. But make it better as the Brickbeards Bounty. And with that I mean the design, not the size. -
I now remember I had a key chain of an Islander, but he was destroyed. I don't remember how, I have always been careful to my LEGO.

I'm happy with these colours. I now feel it looks too much like the 2008 trucks with those curved plates (or however they are called) and I'm happy to see this one in different colours. Too bad it is with the big ugly sleeper piece. I wish there was more variation with the trucks, I think even the 6-wide trucks from 2006, 2007 etc. had more variation in design.

Yes, for minifig-scale it's way too small. I don't care, now it fits better in my future lay-out. I already had plans to order the pieces from the Vestas windmill, with the rare pieces in less rare colours. But I don't have much space, so maybe this is a solution.

It looks even better with the bigger masts now. About the price, I think it's just a LDD thing. Everything you design with LDD is expensive.
-
Great, especially for it's size! What I like is that you were able to add gunports in this size.

For me that's not the reason to call it that way. If I look to Castle for example, the (human) minifigs are really great, and much more detailed if I compare them to the ones from fifteen years ago for example. It's just how they are designed. The Castle-figs don't look cartoonish to me, and it's not a theme-thing (the castle-figs were a big improvement, the sets weren't).
-
The new sets look way too cartoonish and child-ish in my opinion. Some of the older pirates sets are not very realistic but they still look like they have been carefully designed. To me the new sets look like TLG jst wanted to quickly release a new theme and designed all the ses in a day. For the pieces and the minifigs, they are nice, but for the models, no way.

I don't think the Imperial Armada subtheme was bad, they only didn't work it out very well, with two sets. About the Islanders: it's not bad, I like most of the sets. It's only not as good as the rest of the Pirates line.

-4483 Imperial AT-AT. This set started my interest in Star Wars (shortly thereafter I had to see EPII ) -6209 Slave I. I found Boba Fett one of the most interesting people of Star Wars. When I saw LEGO was going to release a new version of his ship, I had to get it. Unfortunately, I was in my dark ages back then, and doubted to buy LEGO when I almost never did something with it. -And when it will be sold out: most likely 10179 Ultimate Millennium Falcon. But I think it's expensive, and I can buy a lot more cheaper sets with the money.

The three most memorable moments in a video game for you
Rijkvv replied to AgentRick's topic in Culture & Multimedia
1. When playing Battlefield: Vietnam against my brother, when we constantly were sniping each other, sneak up just in front of him and kill him with a knife. 2. In SW: Battlefront 2, I was a Shocktrooper at Hoth, locking on rebel Snowspeeders. When I fired a missile, the speeder was shot down before my missile hit him. Because of that, the missile flew straight to a very badly damaged AT-AT, destroying it... 3. World in Conflict. I think the last mission from the singleplayer-campaign was the first one where I could use a carpet bomber. I think I didn't know how deadly a B-52 can be. Because the enemy was very close, I let the BUFF drop his eggs very close. Too close, destroying one of my tanks. -
Das Boot. The extended version (almost 5 hours...). Great movie, where the Germans actually speak german.
-
That's what I'm the most worried about. I've heard a lot about this game, but I have a notebook, not a high-tech "gamers" desktop. Maybe I try to get one of the earlier episodes of Total War, to look if it runs smoothly. On the other side: I never thought World in Conflict would fit at my PC, but it was not a problem at all.

I really like a big, huge (Wiener) schnitzel. With pepper sauce. I also like kale with sausage.

Not counting Duplo, or the 8853 from my father, it was this one... ...or this one. I think it was the first, but I'm not sure. Too bad these parts... were worn very early, so I haven't built up 6532 many times.

I don't think LEGO should add fantasy and a realistic medieval theme in one box. The best thing is every faction has their own sets. In that case you can collect an army if you like fantasy, but you can also collect if you don't like to buy a castle with skeletons and dragons which you don't use for example. And I think there are enough possibilities to give two human factions different sets. If I compare Dutch castles with castles in Germany, there are already differences (there are no mountains in the Netherlands, so a castle on top of a mountain, like soe in Germany, doesn't exist in the Netherlands). And the castles in the middle-East during the crusades are also different. The Brickforge-helmets look awesome. I hope LEGO releases some helmets one day which look close to the Brickforge ones. Maybe two ideas of minifig-packs: 1. Crusader pack. With the king of Jerusalem, three Templar Knights (one carries the banner, one master and one regular Templar Knight), some Teutonic Knights (same as with the templars), Hospitaller Knights (same as with the templars), and five regular crusaders/foot soldiers. 2. Saracen pack. With the sultan, an emir, eight mounted saracens (four of them horse archers), and five foot soldiers.
