  1. I am sit twiddling the thumbs, because it seems the conviction, it has been reached but we still have much time in the day. So I sit back and use the little white beard hairs to think! Day must not be wasted! So, mysterious investigator man, he catch Paris and clear Melanie and he confide in Alicia and Romeo . I think, Alicia and Romeo only, from what I read. But Alicia, she killed in the night, just like poor brother Pablo. Scum obviously take chance on Alicia being the real investigator and playing the sneaky-sneaky games to conceal that fact. But is obvious now that Alicia was not real investigator. If Romeo, he scum, then scum team should have killed someone else in the night and Romeo shouldn't have said investigator contacted him, correct? So I am thinking, Romeo is good townie. And I look at Day One, for accusation against Romeo (even though we not know he the investigator's confidante until today). On Day One, Romeo, he have the battle with Paris about Paris's many posts with little content. And Paris really fight back at Romeo. But Rosie, she think is invalid, what Romeo say about Paris, and there is silly catfight going on: I disagree with statement that Romeo's accusations at Paris were "half-baked" and "insubstantial." I do agree that Paris, he try hard to look like "towniest of townies." Rosie, she have good points against both Romeo and Paris, but she decide to sheep wagon on Brittney and, in fact, she places the final "hammer" vote on Brittney, sfortunata ragazza. I am look with suspicion at Rosie, and write her name down in my little scum book. What is everyone else think?
  2. Yes, revealing what roles we have is a risk, and the decision is yours. And it's OK that you don't feel comfortable revealing that information. So, Vote: Abraham Petruzzi (Fred Daniel Yam)
  3. Well, you don't have to tell us who has what, do you? I mean, we already know there exist the heroic knight and an investigator.
  4. This Abraham result seems a good lead, but I hesitate to judge "evil" the secret identity with information limited. Melanie, mia bella, could you please publish a list of claimed secret identities so we can all work, with information the same as you have. Il mio sentimento, that publishing such a list does not benefit the scum in any way. If all the other identities, they are as harmless as you say, I shall certainly vote for Abraham today.
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks, solidbase, and have fun!
  6. Now I am about to look like the back-tracking scum, eh? Well, Balthasar, I give my sincerest... aplog... apology for misreading your comment when you address Amanda's vote for Melanie. And with regards to Laurence - I should certainly be worried if I were scum against him, but maybe that is what you call "meta". Let us agree to the disagreement over parole, formulazione, the semantics. Well, I suppose that is concession #2. I realise that Janice was far from the only person on your radar on Primo Giorno. But Janice and brother Pablo my other personality, I think, are the only ones you called out for lack of the contributing. And with regards to Tybalt: the words amongst Tybalt, Rosie, Colin the Comb Henry the Hairbrush and you took me several readings to unravel. I can understand why Tybalt could have been confused. I still keep the beady eye on you - something, I think, is still not quite right. But Amanda, do you have anything else to say?
  7. I have trouble searching for things and sometimes often completely irrelevant projects come up. And, thanks glenbricker for sorting through all the projects on CUUSOO and identifying interesting ones!
  8. Did they? I didn't really notice. I thought Capaldi was great in Pompeii and Torchwood and I'm very excited to see how he approaches the role of The Doctor. Matt Smith has been interesting, but not really what I expected from The Doctor, though the recent series finale was a very good episode.
  9. Buon pomeriggio, everybody! I am sorry to have not spoken for a little while - I have done much remembering of the past couple of days and finally come to some ideas. I also have *hic* drinking in brother Pablo's memory. "Drink to me, drink to my health. You know I can't drink anymore," he say, and I cry because AK was pointed at me but not him, and poor brother Pablo, he not deserve to die. Is as though I eat for two, though - that is why I am fat! I come to past days with a kind of naive outlook, no preconceived notions so I can *hic* think outside of - what is it? House, breadbasket, box! aha! Think outside the box! First is Danyelle: On Day One, she say hello in morning and disappear. Then, near end of day, she come back and say she vote for Brittney and helps, shall we say? to "seal the deal" on her. Also, yesterday, she complain people consider the investigator claim as "gospel" like they "worship" it or something. Come on, Danyelle, we need to test the investigator to get some truth out of our situation. But is not just that! Are three more things, like for price of one! First, she ignores fact there is no counter-claim, and second she concedes the investigator claim must be tested. But, terzo, she fails to vote. Bad Danyelle! I have written you down in my little scum book. Second is Rocky Sniffles: As Ronald already has said, Rocky has wavered often on his opinion of Brittney. Rocky even said this, like he is setting up for the "I-told-you-so!" Also, today, Janice told me off for claiming. Is silly question, which I answer adequately. But after that, Rocky, he decide to defend me again! Why? Terzo is Amanda: She says this, like out of nowhere. Bad Amanda! Quirky is very bad choice of word to describe Melanie's idea of not lynching for several days. Is bad idea, is stupid idea, is goes against all our principles, but is not "quirky"! Is like you are trying not to say much, like you could make mistake. Yesterday, she say this. Is like you can't see sense in the darkness, either! Bad Amanda! Is very clear that we are just town and scum. Is very logical that town killer "vigilante", he not want to make mistake on first night. Is like you are trying to look like you are contributing without making any thinking. Also, you suggest that one of the killers must have been blocked. That is silly idea! Next on my list is... Balthasar Jameson! On Day One, he call out Janice for not saying anything of substance "yet". Is general statement, could be pointed at anyone. Is like trying to contribute without contributing. On Day One, he says this. He has a good point about Amanda being deserving of suspicion, but doesn't think the "quirky" vote for Melanie is scummy! Harumph! Balthasar, you are doing the pussyfooting without sticking to guns. I am disappointed in you. Yesterday, he say that Laurence was "probably metakilled." Why? Laurence's ancestors have been scum twice and savvy town once. I don't think there is enough "meta" to consider Laurence particularly dangerous as a townie, even though two of his suspicions thus far have played out well. And today, Balthasar, he not want to accept that I have personality problems and thinks it is bad I have Melanie's confidence - I contact Melanie because she has been cleared by investigator. Whether or not I have Melanie's confidence is Melanie's issue, I should think! I am sorry about the long words, but is lots of my thoughts put down. Is time to go out to lunch with brother Pablo.
  10. Because one of my (several) personalities has obviously put you all on edge and because of that, I don't know if I could just by my behaviour convince you I'm town. And, because I'm vanilla, I don't feel that claiming gives the scum any advantage.
  11. Bon giorno, everyone! I'm sorry I slept in a little late this morning. I am Benvolio's twin brother... oh wait, he died in the war a long time ago. Maybe I'm Benvolio. Maybe I'm not. I don't know who I am! Perhaps you signore e signori can help me out with that. It seems I am in an awkward position, being held accountable for things I cannot recall saying - all I can say to you at the moment is that I am a Council member with no night action. I know I have been following the events here from the back of Benvolio's head for some days, but I must do a little more properly attentive reading at the moment.
  12. Hello everybody, it's time to get down to work!
  13. And hardly any of the "licenced" sets were from outside IPs! But the writer has to sell a story, and it's easy to complain about something you are largely ignorant of.
  14. I agree completely. I had never heard of FTL before the CUUSOO project, but most of the ships look very cool on their own.
  15. This looks great - I like your solution for the distinctive lights-and-grille combination. Great job with this.
  16. Hi! I think this is a good little shunter, and I like the little details you've included such as the technic half-pins with studs. Great use of grille plates and bricks to create interesting textures. And, of course, welcome to Eurobricks!
  17. This looks very convincing - well done! I like that you were able to get the shape of the windows correct by building the octagon upside-down and then making a good solution for the roof using the bars.
  18. JopieK, he pink cone and round plate represent the pig from the cover of Animals by Pink Floyd. Thanks for the comments!
  19. Hello! I haven't done much building in the past year (the first MOCs I posted were a couple of months old when I joined) but now I have time to spare and can focus on building. Today, I present Battersea Power Station, a hallmark of the south London skyline and star of a couple of Doctor Who episodes and the cover for Animals by Pink Floyd. I saw it when I was in London just the other day, and it was very exciting! I have designed it in the style of the Architecture sets because I think it (the building) would be at home in the line. Pictures follow. You can see them on Flickr as well. Thanks for reading! And, of course, comments and criticism are welcome.
  20. If I were just considering the pieces, I'd expect it to be around $120, but there is also the 272-page book that needs subsidising through the price we pay. I think the book comprises a significant amount of the price, and I imagine lots more work went into it than just into an instruction booklet.
  21. It's a sort of weird set - I can't tell what makes it more than a white parts pack with inspirational pictures and techniques. Would you mind sharing pictures of models that the book pushes you to build so we can get a flavour of how the set is supposed to work?
  22. Dinosaurs and Jeeps, it's all the same to me.
  23. EPCOT is sort of interesting, but very tame. The Hollywood-type theme park has a crazy-fast Aerosmith roller coaster and a Twilight Zone drop tower. That's worth a visit if you like. The Jurassic Park ride at Animal Kingdom is really fun as well.
  24. Last time I went to Disneyworld, Animal Kingdom was the best theme park. It has Expedition Everest!
  25. People have all sorts of hobbies. Model trains, trainspotting, carpentry, radio, golf, whatever. LEGO is your hobby. It's just as weird as model trains, so don't be embarrassed to tell your wife. You could even try and share some of what you do with her.
