  1. Just rebuilding this now. It's a real beauty, much better than the castles we get now. Not as good as Black Monarch's Castle or Black Falcons' Fortress, but on up there.
  2. Are we sure the sausage wasn't a bone too?
  3. At least some kids have played with story lines for years. My Dad told me what he did with his LEGO back in the day. His blacksmith (The original, 80s one) was actually a genius, who helped the Black Knights develop space travel. The Apollo missions happened in medieval Scotland, centuries early. Then they flew off in their ship the Claymore (piloted by a Blacktron minifigure) and fought British Space Marines. Character based playing is always going to happen, whether it's LEGO's characters, or the kids playing with them.
  4. This is made even funnier by your choice of emoticon... Which is 'tongue.' :D
  5. The extra hair and legs are in the set to make Lord Business into President Business.
  6. That classic space figure pack is quite interesting. That red spaceman has to be in one of the earliest unnatural minifig poses...
  7. Yeah, some ads are browsing based, but then sometimes it pops up a gay pride ad or something when I haven't touched a thing in any way related to that.
  8. Ooh, haven't seen that! It's beautiful! By the way, here's the old topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=45361
  9. I knew they were missing some early stuff (First Automatic binding bricks in the 40s). However, by the eighties and nineties, we have images of multiple planned but unreleased sets, such as this one: Which makes me think there's less stuff missing from the archives from the 90s. I could be wrong, though, as I'm not sure of the original source of these images.
  10. Almost certain that can be removed, as there are multiple forums I go on (such as Gallifrey Base) that have tapatalk with no such banner.
  11. Interesting as always! And I am so going to reverse engineer 1526. I wonder where such images surface? Does LEGO have an archive of images like this? Maybe someone could get access to said archive.
  12. The CMF ringmaster is also like this. Funnily enough, he's also got a curly mustache...
  13. My Walmart has at least the Melting Room and Getaway glider. Didn't check the LEGO aisle, just saw these in the checkout lane.
  14. Thanks so much! I'm really interested to see what you turn up. :)
  15. Yeah, I was wondering this too. I was looking for replacement flags to my Black Falcon's Fortress, and this one guy has over 300, all priced at $3 a pop. Did he just buy 300 BFFs back in the eighties?
  16. Those posable mini legs are the only third party piece I have ever wanted. I think I'm in love...
  17. Thanks! EDIT: Great review! May have to see what bricklink prices are like.
  18. Oh, um, no, that's a...Terrible deal! On a totally unrelated topic, how can I contact this guy?
  19. I may be going to my local LEGO store tomorrow, so I'll try and ask the manager about prices.
  20. Looks great to me! One of my favorite first wave sets.
  21. If Benny really is that price, it is officially off my to buy list.
  22. I think I'll start on those LEGO Movie sets.
  23. Yeah, I only see two, unfortunately of the most boring feature.
  24. Superman's hair was actually used in orange for a Team GB minifigure.
  25. Well, they're putting Johnny Thunder in a LEGO Movie set...
