  1. It look great with the John Deer colors and i like the snow plow.
  2. It looked amazing, but now it looks perfect with eff's parts! The 8110 had a baby. What about his fenders?
  3. Great job! Looks amazing. You captured the 80's look well.
  4. I did something a little more compact before http://www.bricksafe.com/pages/weavil I did the old one more of a proof of concept http://www.eurobrick......0581&hl=weavil Well I didn't have red ones for the side and wasn't thinking to put the red on the back. That was the Idea. Its one of them fancy autonomous loaders they use now. Someone/people were whining about all the yellow and black construction equipment I decided on red.
  5. I had read on here someone forgot to zero the servo. After I built mine and moving it around for a couple of days I was worried it might not return to center when I turn it on so I did this.
  6. Here is my Loader of Red for the contest. The only black/yellow parts are the tires, bucket, pins, and axle connectors. It has the following: 4-M motors (drive, steer, lift, dump) 2-recievers 1-AA batt box Steering is done with two small LA's, lift with two big LA's, dump with one big LA. I think It could use some work??? Oh and its RED. http://www.bricksafe.com/pages/weavil/Technic%202015/TC6
  7. Look great for someone coming out of "retirement". Keep working on it.
  8. Someone in the General section had that problem with her santa workshop.
  9. Kite string! Used it on Technic MOCs and it don't stretch, or the kite string I got. The kite string I got is about the same as the Lego thin string.
  10. That's why manually feed the new color with the mold open, then adjust the melting temp and how long the mold stays closed before releasing the part.
  11. They use the same mold for all their colors. Except some of the common pieces they have more than one mold ( i.e. 2x1 brick or 3x5 liftarm) to make two or more colors at once. The machines can feed any color for production.
  12. It looks like it could be 3D printed... or it was from a test mold and wanted to see how the final product/pictures would turn out. A designer said (in a recent article) that they sometims use 3D printed parts to help decide if a new mold is worth the investment.
  13. Progressing nicely! I thought about making one before, but wasn't sure where to start and gave up. Can't wait to see more!
  14. The is a massive truck and your is too! It is looking great so far, keep it up! How much does it wiegh? Also love the mud flaps!!!
  15. It looks great! I might make me one after the contest.
  16. Same here. It seemed a little off in the appearance but it works great.
  17. 4 hours late, but HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!
  18. If you got the 42005 then you could get the 42029. I think its a good model, but it is an excellent parts model. However the time are a little bit smaller than the 42030. The only thing you would need to order might be a couple Technic, Link 1 x 6 without Stoppers. I have have the 42000, 42029, and the 42030, and I see all 3 as enough to make amost any thing. So 42000 and buy tire for the loader rims, or 42029 and buy the links (and/or bigger tires), or just say screw it and buy both. P.S. Just my opinion.
  19. Get the 42029. You get the hubs and the small hard shocks, because you can buy the 9398 tires on Brick Link or buy third party tires. But it also depends on how you plan to attach the differential. Are planning like the 9398, or a 4-link, or other?
  20. I had been wondering that too. But looked all I can and found nothing. I too agree about the B-model too. It seems just for looks. In the last few days I was thinking if I can't find a C-model then why not make one!
  21. Brickfactory.info They have some on that site.
  22. I got the 42030 (half for parts, half for the model, need the PF parts). About 3/4 done and good so far. Is it me or are the pins hard to get started in/pushed through?
  23. Your hampster with the food take it from awesome to perfect!
